We visited this hotel in November 2023 after I had completed a hectic job and my friend was celebrating her birthday. I was looking for tranquilly, peace, good food, great service and varied entertainment and that’s exactly what we received at the hotel. The staff, particularly the Radisson Resort Ambassadors Dylen and Akim, made us both feel welcome and comfortable and the hotel, despite some issues, quickly felt like a relaxing, home away from home. HIGHLIGHTS The biggest highlight has to be the staff. From the efficient service at the reception with Tewanna who checked us in and Leon who showed us to our rooms, to the wonderful breakfast with a great offering of American and local cuisine led by Joseph with Sally Ann, Mykelle and others who cooked and served the food. Other stand out breakfast staff were Sheena and Carisha who catered to our breakfast requests. The Food in general at the hotel is of a good standard with a varied menu of local, European and American cuisine. There are a variety of restaurants and menus to choose from. The restaurant staff including Rena and Melissa did a good job, but it was very apparent that at the time of our stay the hotel was under staffed. The absolute shining stars of the staffing team are the Radisson Resort Ambassadors Dylen and Akim. They offer a bespoke service to the plethora of varied guests ensuring all have a good time, are catered too and are well informed. Whether its playing pool with the guests table, tennis, dominoes, leading dance classes, helping out on the beach, sourcing precious beach towels or giving information on local amenities or practical help and advice for where to visit or things to do on the Island, no request was too big or too small and their interaction leaves each guest feeling like a VIP. They are the beating heart of the hotel and should be treasured. Another stand out member of staff is Housekeeping manager Nelly, and her team. The rooms were a little tired in places and we had some issues with the rooms on arrival which were swiftly and expertly dealt with by Nelly, who is friendly and efficient. Our room was also very well cleaned and maintained by the housekeeping team. And the public areas maintained beautifully by the likes of Jermaine from the public areas housekeeping team. The travel and tours desk is also manned by a lovely welcoming young woman. All in all the Radisson have a workforce the management should be very proud of. Beach access. The hotel is right on the most beautiful Grand Anse beach. The view and tranquillity of the beach is breath taking. It’s very clean and was never too busy. The beach access and staff are a major part of why I would return and stay at the hotel. There is one hotel cat that visits in the outside areas and sits and keeps people company. The cat never begs for food, and is a good warm presence around the hotel and adds to the good natured spirit of the place. LOWLIGHTS Rooms need attention and could benefit from a full refurbishment. Comfy beds, spacious rooms but the general look of the rooms need TLC. At the time of our stay the hotel seemed short staffed everywhere and in the restaurant department in particular. On one occasion I waited almost 2 hours for food after I had ordered, which was not ideal. Sun loungers have to be passed over a small fence by security onto the beach for guests to arrange themselves. Surely there could be a more efficient system where a variety of loungers are set up on the beach first thing in the morning and collected in the evening? All in all we had a great time at the Radisson and will surely return again 💛

I had the most amazing two weeks at this hotel staff are all so polite from front desk, gardeners and cleaners.Hotel is spotless a special thank you to Risha who made sure our room was spotless. After two weeks we never got bored with breakfast there was so much choice that the two weeks were not enough to sample all choices. Aylana was always waiting with coffee and a smile.Rooms are a great size with A/C and ceiling fans.Beds are so comfortable with a day bed, fridge and a desk area. Every toliterites thinkable are also provided with a hair dryer, iron and ironing boards, and a safe. Had lunch a few times with a great menu choice. On arrival a deposit is taken and any services like lunch or drinks are deducted on check out.We opted to pay when using these services. Comments for management . A leaflet in the room or on check In ,to give information on entertainment - I was there a week before I noticed a small poster at front desk and the breakfast area advertising this. Advertise if there us a happy hour Opening times of the gym Aerobics in the pool I would have liked this after walking the beach. As a couple we did not need our room cleaned everyday but did not have any signs to leave on the door. Lift was not always working which was not a problem for us but maybe if anyone has mobility issues it could be. An incentive not to have the room cleaned everyday to help with going more green. I would definatley use this hotel again...Thank you Radisson Grenada look forward to planning our next vaccation with you.

Nice hotel, great location right on the lovely grand anse beach. I have now been twice coming last year and this to coincide with the world rugby sevens tournament which is held during the first week of December. In addition to very easy beach access the hotel has two pools one of which is a very large horse shoe around a pool bar. We stayed bed and breakfast as there a plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. Breakfast offered a choice of English/American or Caribbean style. There could be queues for the eggs station if you got your timing wrong but you soon learn the time to avoid. The staff were very friendly and they kept the hotel very clean. If I come to the rugby next year I will probably stay here again.

My friends and I stayed at Radisson Grenada Beach Resort for two weeks in November 2023 to celebrate my birthday. STAFF Radisson Resort Ambassadors Akim and Dylen were exceptional. Their professionalism, positivity, helpfulness, advice, and all-round awesomeness made up for the shortcomings of the hotel. I do not know what their job descriptions are because they seemed to be able to do everything… from teaching us how to play pool to helping us plan our island tour to sourcing aloe… No request was too big or small. They made my birthday extra special by not only singing but choreographing and performing a dance routine for me. Dylen and Akim gave us all the insider tips about the best places to dine, visit, party, and shop. Their presence was felt the most on the rainy days where they kept us (and other guests) entertained with card games and dominos. Akim and Dylen created a safe, fun, and inclusive space for guests of all ages. They were great at bringing people together, especially solo travellers. Akim and Dylen transformed our stay at the Radisson and are a huge asset to the resort. They are the main reason I would book to stay at the Radisson when I return to Grenada in 2024. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay memorable. Special thanks to receptionist Tewana, chefs Mickelle, Joseph, and Sally-Ann; restaurant staff Rena, Melissa, Caresha and Sheena, and Jermaine (public areas housekeeping), Antonio (housekeeping) and Nelly (Housekeeping Manager). The staff are why I am giving this hotel 4* instead of 3*. LOCATION Perfect. Beachfront and walking distance to local amenities. It would be helpful if resort loungers were put out on the beach in the mornings instead of guests having to ask security to pass them over the fence. FOOD Breakfast was a highlight as there was a tasty selection of local food in addition to the usual buffet offerings. On the occasions where we had lunch and dinner in the hotel restaurants, the food was good. However, the restaurants often seemed short staffed. ROOMS Though the fixtures and fittings in our rooms looked dated and tired, the rooms are spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. The rooms would benefit from a full refurbishment. Having stayed in 4* and 5* hotels and resorts around the world, these rooms lacked the luxurious feel and looked more like a 3*. The evening we checked in we discovered several faults with our twin room. We contacted reception and a short while later Nelly (Housekeeping Manager) came to visit us. As the hotel was fully booked, we were unable to change rooms. Nelly apologised, dealt with our complaints effectively and all the issues were resolved by the following day. Nelly also gave us a goodwill gesture and remained in communication with us for the duration of our stay. Thank you, Nelly for your 5* customer service.

Beach/Grounds/Staff definitely 4.5 stars, Rooms a low 3.0. Very dated, tired and in need of a refresh. Intermittent hot water, broken TV, minor inconveniences. As this is the Spice Island, food should be on the next level, but completely bland and uninspired. You guys can do better!

The beach is amazing. The restaurant is a joke. The food is pretty average or below average and the usual wait to get anything other than the buffet is over an hour. One night it was over two hours and I had to really complain to get the order even after two hours. The drinks weren't consistent and on occasion there were no straws. When we arrived it took two days for us to track down beach towels. I met the manager at the party he throws weekly for the guests and he said they had a broken dryer and that was the problem. A guest I spoke to at the same party mentioned that they pay their workers $2 US an hour and that's why they can't keep them from going to other properties after they train them. That would also explain a lot of the attitudes. I asked the towel woman for her name so I could address her properly and she refused to answer me. Imagine standing in front of someone and asking their name and getting compete silence. Very strange. I saw a rat bouncing around one evening and the bar tender said they had no rats. I read a review here that mentioned rats. Why lie? Our first room was ridiculously far from the pool, beach, restaurant and had a view of an air conditioner stack. I called the front desk to get another room and I was told they had no rooms. I knew the place was almost empty so I went to the front desk and asked to speak to the manager. The woman didn't move. She just asked me what for and I said I wanted a new room closer to everything and on the first floor. She offered me a fourth floor room in the most distant building. Apparently she didn't hear me. The second option was exactly what I asked for. We took it but I wonder is the answer to every request always "no?" I guess that's the training. We went diving and noticed boats. Sail boats and kayaks. Sailing was a charge and kayaking was free. I asked for a sail boat and I was told it was too rough. I had actually just sailed with a boat I rented on the beach about 100 yards away an hour before. The ocean was not rough at all. I asked for a kayak and the answer was also no. Too rough was the answer. "See the waves," he said to me. There were barely any waves. I think he was just too lazy to rise from his chair. The usual attitude at the Radisson as we experienced it. I mentioned I didn't see waves and he didn't respond. That was it. The landscaping is great, the beach is great. As I told the manager you could pitch tents on the property and get the same money; however the food and service there is questionable. Radisson should force them to step up their game. There's almost no lighting at night in certain well trafficked places, no signage anywhere on the property and no maps even at the front desk for either the property or the island. No towels for days, no hot water and no water pressure (I almost forgot), no food sometimes for hours. Enjoy your stay just be prepared to go off property for all meals. Umbrellas next door is too loud for dinner, The Aquarium is awesome (on Magazine Beach) but it gets pricey for every meal, Patrick's is a little gross, The Sail in town is good with a great view. Go to the falls and enjoy Grand Anse beach, dive or snorkel the sculpture park and sail if you can. It's a nice vacation if the weather is good but if it rains I don't know what you would do there. Seven days was perfect but we will never return. Radisson management should force them to up their game. We were lucky with the weather.

I’m so glad I choice the Radisson it was a last minute decision. The location was perfect I really enjoyed the beach at hotel especially watching the sunset. The staff at front was friendly and very helpful. Your staff member Akim really was professional and personal. He made sure to check on me to help make sure my stay was fun with activities like pool and playing cards. He had a bright and sunny spirit . Grenada is great place and everyone I met was just warm and friendly. My only issue was that the WiFi wasn’t really to unstable for a good connection doing my stay. No connection in my room at all the whole stay.

This review is more geared to our Tour guide and company. We visited the Radison this November. The hotel overall offers what you need. It is not all inclusive but offers breakfast. All inclusive not really necessary as there are some great restaurants on the beach - just take a beach walk and find them. Rooms cleaned, facilities clean, pools great. Not crowded at all - not like when you go to Mexico or Punta Cana. Beach and ocean beautiful. Definately use Insight Tourist for your tours. They are at the front lobby. Charmaine organized everything and is always available and updates you promptly. The hiking trip to the falls was great and Danny was very informative and a pleasure. We would do more tours with Charmaine and Insight Tours but are leaving today. But definitely would contact her even if we were not at this hotel - not that the hotel was bad but we like to visit different hotels till we find one we like.

Lets talk about the positives first. The property is wonderfully appointed. The gardens in great shape and the pools, particularly the oasis, are amongst the nicest you could find in any Caribbean hotel. The buffet breakfasts which were included in our price were excellent. Most of the staff were friendly and very helpful. On a less positive basis, the rooms are looking a little tired. We had to get the balcony door fixed twice. The bed was comfortable and the room quite spacious. The bathroom however was tiny. Just big enough for one person. Eating at the hotel in the evenings was a little challenging as our average wait time for 1.5 hours for the 3 times we ate there Now the bad. One of us was struck by a pool umbrella when the wind gusted. This caused a lot of bruising and some pain. It was reported but there has been no follow up

Hotel Review Excellent Location and Service for what we wanted. Beautiful location and lovely staff. Review of Tour to Carriacou Nia & Charmaine were very professional in their interactions when we decided to book the Carriacou-Grenada SVG Flight/Land Tour from the Hotel Tours & Excursions Desk. The pick-ups were organised from the hotel to the airport which took us on a scenic flight over the west coast and the return journey from Carriacou was via the Osprey Ferry Service from the Port-of-Carriacou. The Land Tour with Lincoln “Linky” was very informational and gave some good insights on the history and present-day living in Carriacou. We then took the boat over to Sandy Beach Island which was as the name suggests soft beautiful and white/coral sands with 2 natural pools created by smashed rocks & coral, it would have been nice to stay a bit longer here to explore both pools on this tiny strip of sand island if known upfront. Our boatman waited for us and then took us over with Tim (the Chef) to Anse La Roche Bay, where we snorkelled and had a lovely lobster lunch! It was brilliant. We will surely visit again, it is a special place because of the people and there friendliness. Thank You George & Bobby
