The hotel is not too bad, close to the beach but less than 10 guests. Decent breakfast but odious boss. Not friendly at all. For more than 15 days in Thailand this is the first hotel where the manager is unpleasant. In addition we have to stay 3 more nights but we change hotels. Room was not made up. Ashtray on the terrace not emptied, trash always full.

Mae Nam beach is very silent and absolutely not crowded. If you're looking for relax is good.
The villas have a central swimming pool for all the guests, facing to the seaside and some beds both near there and under the nearby trees
I booked a deluxe beachfront suite, paying more for the beach-view and the bigger size & comfort of the room.
What they're effectively selling is (suite 901) an apartment facing to the corridor for the boats to go to the sea, with the shower tray green because of the musk growing in it and the "so advertised" bathtub that's only a cement tub, painted in white, but black because of the dirty
For the same (or lower) price several accommodations can be found very easily.
The place was average clean, not so bad but not so clean too. It was surprising seeing them sleeping or watching TV instead of working to clean and get a better place to offer
The buffet breakfast was supposed to be included: what we were offered was a small table on which there were few bananas, some watermelon and pineapple. In addition to this 2 jugs containing "chemical" fruit juices and 2 small cans of jam.
The hot buffet was the jug of the tea and the one of coffee.
In addition to this, we were asked to choose one of 4 suggested dishes: eggs and bread, ham and bread, local rice soup, marmalade and bread. The dishes were very small, (only 2 slices of bread) and often not good at all. Water and additional bread were charged, if required.
We spent there 3 nights, enough to enjoy the quiet beach, but already enough for that resort

I think New Lapaz is good for budget travelers. We stayed in a fan only bungalow for 400 bhat a night and it was pretty good. The staff was really nice and helpful, beware they will charge you for every bhat so make sure to confirm all prices in advance of buying. Comfortable beach chairs great for lounging with a Singha. There is not really a beach especially at high tide. The water comes right up to the wall. You have enough room to sit and it is good to swim. They have a pool table and internet but you have to pay as you go for extras. The rooms was a bit dilapidated, but it was pretty clean and I would recommend it. If you are looking for luxury this is not the place for you, but it is simple and nice and we enjoyed our time.

Room Tip: we stayed in 403 non a/c fan bungalow and it was pretty fine. I would just ask for new towels...

Nice good size bungalow on front row facing the sea. Comfy bed and pillows. Good aircon, wi fi and hot water. My room had a coffee pod machine (two pods every day). Could use the same machine for hot water.
There is no beach in front of the resort but sea is good for swimming.
Sun loungers are provided behind the raised sea wall.
Swimming pool is small and the pool surround gets very busy.
Beach and shower towels provided. As is shampoo and soap.
Food in restaurant is not too badly priced and a good breakfast is available. 7-11 within walking distance.
The resort does not look the same as in their own web pages. It is, in my opinion, not luxury but it is good quality.
There is cosmetic work required.
Footnote: Taxis are expensive, try Grab website.

This is one of the best places I have ever stayed. The staff here went above and beyond for us on every occasion. So friendly, professional and helpful. We stayed in a garden view bungalow but, still had a lovely view of the sea. Waking up hearing the waves every morning was incredible. The breakfast was delicious as well as the food served during the day in the restaurant! I’d recommend the club sandwich and the satay chicken and chicken wings. It’s quite a walk to the main road with not much light in the evening. We hired a moped through Adarin which I would highly recommend. We will 100% be back here next year. Not in November though (rainy season) see you at the beginning of December 2023. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

+1
The café & restaurant as well as the bar are open to all guests. We ate there twice in the evening and we were very satisfied. A large Chang beer only costs 130 baht!
The food is freshly prepared and we enjoyed it. The staff are very friendly. Prices are on the lower side.

We stayed here for just over a week, and overall, it was fine. We had a deluxe garden bungalow, which was spacious and had complimentary robes, slippers, and a lovely straw bag to put your beach towels in.
The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were nice.
However, the air-conditioning was not strong enough, and it took a while to get the room cool, which is not ideal when it is so hot outside.
Could do with an additional bin as the only one provided was the toilet bin.
Portions in the restaurant are quite small in comparison to anywhere I have eaten in Thailand, but the food is ok.
Nice hotel but small things could make it better.

Villas located on the most beautiful area on the Island. Beautiful gardens that is well maintained and a great clean pool.
- Service. Bad
- Prices in Restaurant compared to quality. Bad
- Room - where do I begin. If you like an outdated bed with a good spring massage, aircon with no control, no kettle, no facilities except a fridge and only wifi next to the pool, then this is your place.
- Bathroom - moulded
On a plus note. The weather was great and the gardener understood English :-)
