Pros: Convenient location on main road, walking distance of beach and disc golf course, friendly staff, clean, spacious room, and good selection of breakfast items.

Cons: The bed had only a box spring mattress. We asked staff for a regular mattress because the wood frame and metal springs were so uncomfortable. They added a comforter to the bed instead of replacing box spring with a regular mattress. Pool area is not in great shape

We were given a warm welcome and a complimentary welcome drink and fresh fruit upon arrival.
Staff were very friendly and helpful to advise us on recommended eateries and local tours. Just 5 minute from Maenam public beach.
We had a dinner at hotel's restaurant, the food was really delicious. We have five night very comfortable nights in a very quiet hotel.

This hotel was absolutely perfect for us & we would definitely use it again.
We stayed two weeks. Large rooms, WiFi worked well.
Great location, its a 10 minute walk to the beach along a busy interesting street with lots of food available.
At the rear it is very quiet.
The staff were really lovely & made us so welcome, it was a pleasure to meet them all.
They had prepared a room as we had asked with the correct bed at the back overlooking a bit of farmland, some palms & the hills beyond.
Our flight was a lot earlier than check in time but that was no problem at all once we asked.
The balcony view at the back is beautiful.
I can't say how rooms are on the noisy street side or the sides of the building, I don't sleep well so the back worked very well for me.
The pool was fairly small but with a deep end and was just lovely up on the roof with a really great view.
The staff booked all of our trips for us and some taxi's & a meal & did such a smooth job of everything. We stayed two weeks, everything was a pleasure & very easy.
They also brought my partner a birthday cake with candles on the day, it was so sweetly done.
Some areas were a bit empty or desolate, perhaps because of the pandemic passing, & some areas need a little decorating or maintenance, nothing of which was serious or bothered us at all. But the building was clean and functional, the air con in the room was good.
Reception closed in the evening at 20:00 which means you go in the back way but that was fine, there is still an elevator.
The lovely smiling staff, the assistance, the view & the rooftop pool made it a pretty special stay for us.
Thanks so much to all the staff including Noi for helping us, sorry we had to rush off without proper goodbye ♥️

I never leave reviews of places I stay but I'm pleased i found this place I wanted to show my appreciation

I travel every week to koh samui for education and I try to find a hotel every week, well after about 7 hotels all in the 500baht to 700baht a night price range I can tell you this is by far the best.

The lobby is huge and the staff are so nice they brought me a drink and fruits when i was checking in. There's car parking round the back of the hotel with a security guard.
The restaurant was set out really nice and there was a full size pool table. The food was delicious too. and not that expensive 140baht for chicken and noodles. The equipment in the gym was clean and I had it all to myself they have a really good machine and a treadmill. the pool was clean and the fountains spraying into it were a great touch.
In my roomI had flat screen tv huge bed and a bath ! no other hotel ive stayed in on koh samui had a bath.
but most of all what made me write the review was in the room there was a kettle with tea and coffee,
as an Englishman a nice cuppa tea and a comfy bed is really all I crave.

I can't say enough about them all the staff are super friendly and speak great english.

for once im looking forward to booking a hotel

See you soon Amarin

The stay was affordable, the staff is doing their best. However, the policy of the hotel is not reasonable. I accidentally dropped an old dated soap dispenser, don’t mind paying for something like that. The hotel charged us 350 baht for what is as much as the entire stay for 1 night, without even replacing the dispenser. Just for 1 soap dispenser :)

Really nice hotel in close proximity to Mae Nam beach. Room was very clean, gym and pool included, comfortable beds, nice sheets and lovely ladies at the front desk who always greeted me. A very quiet hotel in a nice location close to restaurants. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a budget friendly tranquil stay.

Just picked this hotel at random and was very pleased with what I received. The hotel was well located, it's on the main road but I noticed no noise whatsoever. The staff were very friendly, the hotel was quiet (I didn't see another guest at all). The rooms were a decent size even with the cheapest room that I chose.....it had all the things necessary to enjoy one's stay, fridge, safe, tv etc. If you want to be near Chaweng or in the heart of the nightlie then maybe its a bit far but if you hire a bike then even that is easy to get to.

My partner and I stayed here for a few nights before heading to Koh Tao.

This place could really be a luxury hotel if they just invested a little bit of money into it.

Pros:
Room was beautiful
AC was brilliant
Good wifi
Great pool
Great staff
Great restaurant (in lobby)

Cons:
Quiet location, but if you want to relax its perfect
Upstairs needs some TLC. Was the upstairs bar even in service? It had barely any stock and nobody looking after it.
Pool loungers were very old and mouldy. Just buy some new cushions and it'll look lovely!
Atmosphere...this place felt like a mental institute. I think we were the only people in the hotel and it felt quite strange.

This place has the basics, but if they just spend some money on marketing, lighting in the hallways (felt like a prison), and some attention to the upstairs bar it could really be an incredible hotel.

Although my review doesn't sound great, it really was a lovely hotel and I'd definitely recommend.

My girlfriend and i stayed here for 3 weeks in december 2011 her first time in Koh Samui/Thailand so she was'nt sure what to expect.I myself have stayed at the Amarin Victoria many times and have always been extremely satisfied. The hotel itself is very clean with a minimalistic feel which works very well. The staff are warm and friendly with a good sense of humour. Our room was a decent size with balcony, walk in shower, bath, massive bed plus everything else you would expect from a great hotel such as this. Its situated in Mae Nam a quieter part of samui all be it apart that offers plenty. The beach, gym, 7/11, bars, resturants, chemist are all but a short walk away. Check out fishermans village for a good night out, getting there is easy and inexpensive just flag down a baht bus they run past the front door. To sum it up the amarin victoria is fantastic value for money... My girl and i will most definatly be back in the near future if not sooner.

We traveled to Koh Samui by NokAir that was not a direct flight ( the ticket all included the Flight + Coach + Hi-speed Catamaran) Started From Bangkok (Don Mueang) To Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport, then took the Air conditioned Coach to Surat Thani (Laem Thuat Pier), connect with Hi-speed Catamaran (by Lom Prayah Company). It was a great journey with the lovely scene from the airport to Laem Thuat Pier in Surat Thani. While we were waiting at the pier , we saw the dolphins near by the pier. After that we catch Hi-speed Catamaran to Koh Samui (Lom Pra Yah - Nar Ton Pier), it took 45 Mins on the Catamaran. The Lom Prayah is also provide the shuttle service to the hotel in Koh Samui with the extra charge only 100/Person/Way. We took the shuttle to the hotel, Amarin Victoria Samui, there was only 2 of us on the shuttle. It took only 15 Mins from Lom Prayah - Nar Ton Pier to Amarin Victoria Samui.

Location : The hotel is located on the Mae Nam Road and "Mae Nam beach" is only 10-15 mins to walk. Around the hotel and on near by the beach, have many local restaurants, 7/11 and Family Mart where is so easy for us to get what we need.

The Room : We stayed on the 3rd floor, with the WOW view from the room. The room is cleaned ,nice decoration, furnished and comfortable for our stay. But it is a bit dark, not too much light in the room. In the toilet had the aroma burner which is so wonderful atmosphere upon arrive the room. Along the corridor from the elevator to the room had many great painting and trendy decoration.

The Pool : Situated on the rooftop with the fantastic view, overlook to the beach.

Staff & Service : All the staffs were friendly and always smile without fake. Helpful and willing to give the information and service. This hotel has a free WiFi in room. We stayed on the period that was not to many guests, so the breakfast was a bit pity, a la carte set. On departure day : the staffs took a photo for us and print out in few minutes. That is a spontaneous lovely service.

If you do not mind the hotel right on the beach. We are highly recommend "Amarin Victoria Samui" , one of the good hotel in Mae Nam Beach area where you should try to stay.

Unfortunately we do not provide the mosquitos net. But you can spray the insect repellent lotion, which can be purchased at any convenient stores or ask from the front office for assistance.
