We stayed for 3 nights here. I was with my group of 7. From the first time i called for reservation, the staff was very very very helpful. They offered me for ongoing promotion which very good deal because we can get daily credit. They offered many services such as pick up transfer to pier or airport, free bicycle, free kayak paddle board and snorkel, and also motorbike rental. Everything was so easy with affordable price also. From the arrival day, the receptionists were very friendly and helpful. They managed our room close by each other and arranged my motorbike rental. The room was spacious even with 1 additional bed. The amenities were good. Just need more attention that the floor is bit slippery, so please be careful. They have promotion for beverage and food also. Buy 1 get 1 free cocktails, 25% off for f&b other than alcohol. The place is also good for those who wants calm and silent environment. The location a bit far from the city center. If you want to go around samui, better to have your own vehicle (better car). Not so many restaurant nearby..but the f&b in the hotel good actually. You can rely on them. The price also so so for a hotel, moreover they have discount. So it’s ok, solve your problem. I would recommend for those who seek for calm and quite beach (you can see sunset also from the hotel’s beach). I and my friends did have a pleasant stay here. Thank you Mimosa!

Nice and quiet as was one of only two rooms occupied. Stayed in the jacuzzi room which was comfortable. Bathroom was spacious, AC worked well, Shower was great, tv channels very basic, mostly Thai. Wifi was slow in the room, but faster at the pool area. The restaurant had good selection and moderately priced for a Samui Resort. The Greek salad was very tasty. They have a 2 for 1 cocktail promotion and were running 25% off food and non alcoholic drinks. So certainly worth stopping for a sunset drink even if you have no plans to stay overnight. Beach was clean and with high tide the water was clear. Great place to chill.

Lovely boutique resort at the more quite part of Mae Nam. Rooms are really light and spacious and nicely decorated. Beautiful garden, a small gym with everything you need for a workout. Fitkoh, a large gym, is just around the corner and offers drop in classes. Staff is really doing their utmost in a personal and friendly way to make your stay unforgettable. Food at the cosy beach restaurant is good, especially the Thai dishes. Enough sun beds on the beach, small swimming pool, it’s a peace of paradise on the busy Samui island. If you want an evening with great shopping and busy restaurants, Bophut is just a 10 min drive away.

Mimosa, is a very special place. It’s the perfect combination of rustic Thai charm and luxury. We spent 11 nights here in February, I can’t rate this hotel Highly enough. The staff are what make it, they are all fantastic. The location was perfect for us, I used the spa a few times which was brilliant. (I had Puk, she’s the best) It would be hard to find a hotel like this anywhere else it’s one of the best we’ve ever been to. We will be back one day for sure. Thank-you Mimosa for such a wonderful stay 💗 x

Had a 10 night stay here and it was just lovely. Possibly the best beach on the island. Pool area is a little tired but it’s still great. We had a pool villa, it could have done with a seating area. The restaurant and bar is amazing. The staff are fabulous. The sunset hour is particularly amazing. Only compliant is that they tried to charge us for a broken glass when we checked out which I thought was a little cheeky considering how much money we spent there. You do need a bike or a car as it is a little further away from everything and not much choice on other restaurants or things to do in the evening.

My husband and I stayed at Mimosa Resort for three weeks this February and it was amazing. From the friendly staff and delicious food to the beautiful grounds and clean room, I can’t recommend this Resort enough. Room – We stayed in a ground floor “Lovers’ Jasmine – Jacuzzi Lover Deluxe” suite. Other reviews are saying the rooms did not match the photos online. That is not the case with this suite, I think the pictures online are very accurate. The sheets and towels were clean and restocked on a daily basis by the wonderful staff. There was a working safe. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the TV worked well. The his-and-hers sinks in the bathroom were nicer than our apartment bathroom! Outside is a nice rainfall shower complete with cute little sheep figurines as pictured. Initially, I was concerned because the door to the outdoor shower didn’t seem to seal completely, however, in our three-week stay no bugs ever came into the room and it was not an issue. We were in Thailand on a train-cation so the jacuzzi was perfect after a long workout. No shortage of hot water in the jacuzzi, bathroom sinks or the shower (unlike stories we heard from friends staying elsewhere). The only recommendation for improvement would be a dresser for clothing; the closet in the bathroom area wasn’t big enough for all of our things. Overall, we were very comfortable in this room. Restaurant – We ate at the restaurant and bar quite a few times during our stay and the food was delicious. The breakfast buffet was included with our room, so we ate there every morning. They provided the usual bacon, potatoes, toast, fruit, etc. with an omelette bar, but had Thai dishes as well. For lunch/dinner they have a variety of foods, from Thai to burgers to Greek to seafood (I highly recommend the Greek salad!). I agree with some other reviews that it’s more expensive than other places, however, you’re paying for the convenience of eating on the resort (and it’s definitely worth it). They have an array of tasty drinks and offer happy hour twice a day everyday. The servers in the restaurant are very friendly and we had many pleasant conversations with Nai, Lin, Wai, and Win. We also ordered room service quite a few times for dinner and the service was always speedy and accurate. Front desk – The front desk staff are some of the nicest I have met travelling. Khin, Minorou, Ma, and Dear were always there with smiles on their faces to greet us. You have the option of leaving your keys at the desk when you leave the resort, which we found very helpful as there’s no risk of losing them. They helped us with laundry service, advised us about sight-seeing and night markets, and even helped us order a pizza one night! Very professional and welcoming. Amenities – The laundry service was great. While it was a bit expensive as the individual items add up, they took care of our clothes. I was concerned because I brought a lot of workout gear that can easily shrink, but everything was washed with care. The wifi was a bit on-and-off sometimes and we had to re-sign in, but it was just fine for checking emails and perusing social media a few times a day. My husband watched movies by the pool and generally had no issues. The grounds are beautiful and cleaned many times throughout the day; you feel like you’re in the jungle with the comfort of a well-maintained, groomed resort. The pool is cleaned regularly; we swam everyday and felt that it was maintained well. The servers in the restaurant are very accommodating and will help you with towels and set up an umbrella by the lounge chairs. We rented a scooter for our stay from the resort and it worked perfectly. We had a fantastic stay at Mimosa and we couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else. I hope to be back soon!

I stayed at Mimosa for about two weeks and have to say it exceeded all my expectations. For someone who is looking for a laid back, tranquil, picturesque and very friendly environment you are in the right place. It is beautifully located at the Ban Tai Beach, a place secluded from all the hassle and the packed tourism. Here you find calm and peace. The staff at Mimosa is great and I already miss them dearly. Nai and the staff at the restaurant as well as reception made my stay extraordinary as they are welcoming, friendly, interested and always open hearted and make every request you have come true. The hotel is great, the rooms nice and clean and you have many choices booking extra massages or excursion as you please. I will definitely come back and can’t wait to see all of them again. It was a huge family and I felt very happy during my stay. Thank you so much all of you!
