Stayed here for 6 nights in January. A beautiful place in a beautiful location. There is very little nearby in the way of activities but the resort is right by the sea & it has a fabulous pool with plenty of outside space alongside the beach. If you want peace & relaxation then this is an ideal place but if you want loads of bars, eating places & nightclubs then this probably isn’t the place for you.
The rooms are spacious particularly the ones located on the ground floor. The upper rooms have a balcony & all the rooms have an outdoor jacuzzi bath outside. The room we had on the ground floor had a huge bathroom with a shower & double basin. The only criticism I do have is that the beds actually consist of mattresses on a big concrete platform & although the mattresses were comfortable it was quite tricky getting in & out of bed & off the platform particularly if you’re not the most agile!!! The garden was exquisite & wonderfully cared for.
The staff without exception were marvellous & nothing was too much trouble for any of them. Lin would put out towels for us every morning thus reserving our favourite sun beds & the lady on reception was wonderful & went out of her way to help us & make out holiday as wonderful as possible. She even presented me with some cough lozenges for my cough which was extremely thoughtful.
All in all I would definitely recommend this resort if you’re after a peaceful, relaxing holiday where you will be looked after & totally spoiled!

We stayed for 3 nights here. I was with my group of 7. From the first time i called for reservation, the staff was very very very helpful. They offered me for ongoing promotion which very good deal because we can get daily credit. They offered many services such as pick up transfer to pier or airport, free bicycle, free kayak paddle board and snorkel, and also motorbike rental. Everything was so easy with affordable price also.
From the arrival day, the receptionists were very friendly and helpful. They managed our room close by each other and arranged my motorbike rental.
The room was spacious even with 1 additional bed. The amenities were good. Just need more attention that the floor is bit slippery, so please be careful.
They have promotion for beverage and food also. Buy 1 get 1 free cocktails, 25% off for f&b other than alcohol.
The place is also good for those who wants calm and silent environment. The location a bit far from the city center. If you want to go around samui, better to have your own vehicle (better car).
Not so many restaurant nearby..but the f&b in the hotel good actually. You can rely on them. The price also so so for a hotel, moreover they have discount. So it’s ok, solve your problem.
I would recommend for those who seek for calm and quite beach (you can see sunset also from the hotel’s beach).
I and my friends did have a pleasant stay here. Thank you Mimosa!

I stayed at Mimosa for about two weeks and have to say it exceeded all my expectations. For someone who is looking for a laid back, tranquil, picturesque and very friendly environment you are in the right place. It is beautifully located at the Ban Tai Beach, a place secluded from all the hassle and the packed tourism. Here you find calm and peace. The staff at Mimosa is great and I already miss them dearly. Nai and the staff at the restaurant as well as reception made my stay extraordinary as they are welcoming, friendly, interested and always open hearted and make every request you have come true. The hotel is great, the rooms nice and clean and you have many choices booking extra massages or excursion as you please. I will definitely come back and can’t wait to see all of them again. It was a huge family and I felt very happy during my stay. Thank you so much all of you!

The hotel itself is a bit rocked down and could need a few renovations here and there. Unfortunately our room had a strict smell from the toilet pipes coming after asking what we could possible do about this we where quickly offered to move to another room which was great. All in all it made our stay so much better!

The staff was always friendly and forthcoming.

Big minus was the breakfast coffee which is not drinkable. After asking a for a cappuccino from the Maschine I was quickly informed that it’s not included in the breakfast and paid separate which made me skip my other breakfast just for that fact

Don’t book the cheapest room category in this hotel otherwise it is great.

The beach is just remarkably beautiful!

We stayed here in January for 11 nights. We pciked a jacuzzi pool villa as we were a family of 4 adults. Our villa was extremely spacious, 2 rooms, 1 shower room and an outdoor shower room. Lounge area, garden and small private pool. It was wonderful. Although a little bit off the beaten track and in a lovely quiet area we found it absolutely perfect. The hotel is right on a stunning beach and it is very easy to jump into a taxi or bus to get to the local town in the evenings. The hotel also went out of their way to courier my daughters mobile phone to us in Bangkok which was our next stop. She had left it in the taxi on the way to the airport and the Mimosa very kindly tracked it down. Absolutely spot on service. I would highly recommend the Mimosa and would most definitely come back and stay here again.

1. Visited the hotel in low season, and was greeted by an inexperienced receptionist who made us wait for check-in even if the hotel was running at 20% capacity at the time as we were later informed. Also, I bit rude.
2. Tryied the food and it was the first time I demanded a refund it was terrible..not even a Thai person ate Thai cuisine and that's saying something!
3. The manager, I kid you not doesn't stay at the hotel in low season, instead she stays in Bangkok and answers in PR emails that feel it was written by AI.So your complaints will not be answered
4. Dusty and cockroaches in the bathroom.
5. The hot tube wasn't working and needed to call an engineer in the middle of the night.
6. The receptionist informed us at the start that she wouldn't inform the manager of our problems and instead told us to contact booking.com where we made the reservation.
8. Old and needs renovation (Gym closed)
9. Sometimes you need to search for the receptionists
10. The breakfast was terrible small selection and bad quality, I was served a Grey 🩶 Latte! When I brought the issue to the reception they told me that's because of low season, so keep in mind they have different quality depending on the season you visit which is mind-blowing!
Resume...AVOID AT ALL COSTS if you don't want your vacation ruined and trying to speak with BOOKING.COM reps,I was lucky because I already stayed a month in Samui in different hotel and came a few days to relax at my favorite beach(Bang Tai) which turned in a complete nightmare thanks to this joke of a hotel,I cannot fathom what would happen if my vacations where shorter and my only accommodation was Mimosa Resort&Spa
The only good part is the location nothing more, this is a parody of a 4-star hotel.

Had a 10 night stay here and it was just lovely. Possibly the best beach on the island. Pool area is a little tired but it’s still great. We had a pool villa, it could have done with a seating area. The restaurant and bar is amazing. The staff are fabulous. The sunset hour is particularly amazing. Only compliant is that they tried to charge us for a broken glass when we checked out which I thought was a little cheeky considering how much money we spent there. You do need a bike or a car as it is a little further away from everything and not much choice on other restaurants or things to do in the evening.

Nice and quiet as was one of only two rooms occupied. Stayed in the jacuzzi room which was comfortable. Bathroom was spacious, AC worked well, Shower was great, tv channels very basic, mostly Thai. Wifi was slow in the room, but faster at the pool area. The restaurant had good selection and moderately priced for a Samui Resort. The Greek salad was very tasty. They have a 2 for 1 cocktail promotion and were running 25% off food and non alcoholic drinks. So certainly worth stopping for a sunset drink even if you have no plans to stay overnight. Beach was clean and with high tide the water was clear. Great place to chill.

Amazing beach location, has a nice restaurant too.

The rooms are not definitely not 4 star, and need attention. They also have a strange smell in them - but are clean.
You only get 1 key, so you can’t leave the air con or fridge in your room on - which is a nightmare in 30+ degrees.

The pool is a decent size. They have some facilities for children, but I wouldn’t recommend for toddlers & under due to the steps down to the beach & the road that connects hotel to pool & beach.

Lots of mosquitoes & other insects in this location too, so be prepared with sprays, lotions & the need to keep windows & doors shut at all times.

Lovely boutique resort at the more quite part of Mae Nam. Rooms are really light and spacious and nicely decorated. Beautiful garden, a small gym with everything you need for a workout. Fitkoh, a large gym, is just around the corner and offers drop in classes.
Staff is really doing their utmost in a personal and friendly way to make your stay unforgettable. Food at the cosy beach restaurant is good, especially the Thai dishes. Enough sun beds on the beach, small swimming pool, it’s a peace of paradise on the busy Samui island. If you want an evening with great shopping and busy restaurants, Bophut is just a 10 min drive away.

Yes, there was a drawer under the TV with tea, coffee, sweetener, cups and an electric jug. Although I didn't see any fresh milk in the fridge. I would say a quick call from the room to reception and they could provide this.

You will never hear an airplane at this location. It is completely quiet. There is a spa but I did not take advantage of them. They also say there’s a fitness center but it’s not that wonderful. In fact not worth using.

Yes, as I am Thai so I have traveled by my car but I found many foreigners walked out around the area. But if you look for night life, I suggest you to stay other beaches.
