Athenaeum Spa at this hotel is amazing. Cannot find fault with anything. Kelly and her staff are so attentive, polite and nothing is too much trouble. Made to feel welcome and relaxed the minute you walk through the hotel doors. The Pool, and the vitality suite are wonderful. I also had a stone massage and a facial and I didnt want it to end. Ate in the hotel restaurant and the food, and staff are faultless. Everything in the hotel is excellent and will definitely use again and recommend to anyone. Thank you Kelly and your staff for an amazing day.
We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. A beautiful hotel, with such welcoming staff. We were so pleased with the personal attention given to us by their Chef Alessandro Romagnoli . On each of the three nights we had dinner in the Villa restaurant. He went out of his way on each evening to cook a main course dinner for us that wasn’t even on the menu. The food was outstanding and of the highest quality and I would urge the Corinthia Hotel not to loose this man as he is a great asset to the hotel. Thank you Chef Alessandro for making our meals so memorable. Adrian and Arianna Long.
Another very pleasant stay. The hotel is beautiful, well maintained, and well organised. It has its own charm and a character. Breakfasts are very good. Spa and the indoor swimming pool are immaculate. The territory is beautiful. A real 5-star hotel, it deserves each of those.
I stayed at Corinthia Palace Malta to kick off the new year and I couldn’t have been happier with the place. For a high end, well ran hotel, this has everything, including privacy and a deep sense of calm despite being not too far from all the important places in Malta. The staff throughout my stay were so welcoming from moment one all the way to the day of check out, and always were able to help out with any request, this applies to the service staff in the resturant, or the reception staff, who always greeted me with a smile and a laugh. I the outdoor pool is a beautiful little sun trap, with lots of natural light through the middle of the day, even in this time of year. The gym, spa and vitality suite are also all excellent facilities that satisfied every need on the holiday. The room was comfortable, spacious and well equipped with a TV set that was easy to cast to wirelessly and a lovely balcony that was great for an afternoon relax. I was initially worried about the location of this hotel, however those worries were quickly disproven thanks to the strong public transport facilities, and the fact that you can get to nearly everywhere notable city and town you’d like to, by car in about 20 minutes maximum. The only thing I can think to improve would be the wifi connection in my room, it was easy to connect, however the speed of the connection wasn’t very high. However elsewhere in the hotel, this is improved, and was ultimately a peripheral issue for such a fantastic place. I would absolutely recommend this hotel, I look forward to hopefully returning in the near future.…
My family and I just spent a lovely short break at the beautiful and elegant Corinthia Palace Hotel in Attard to end off 2022 in style. In keeping with the Corinthia brand tradition, the hotel is superb and luxurious from the Villa Corinthia dining room, to its Lounges, Gardens and Rooms, not to mention the exquisitely refurbished Athenaeum Spa. We were checked-in so pleasantly by Elisa at Front Desk who really went out of her way to welcome us so professionally to the hotel. Maris, also at Front Desk, is certainly worthy of a mention as she is so polite and gentle and always there to greet you whenever you walk by the Front Desk. The buffet breakfast served in the majestic Villa Corinthia was delicious to say the least and we even enjoyed a delicious club sandwich and some tea & cocktails in the beautiful Caprice Lounge. Warning: not for the faint-hearted…the portion size of the sandwich is huge! One cannot but give credit to the charming Lizio who took the trouble to come up with a small taster for our sweet tooth after the meal. It’s these little gestures that make this a great Hotel. We spent New Year’s Eve enjoying a wonderful 8 course Asian meal at the Rickshaw Restaurant so well looked after by the adorable Memely and her team. We revelled until the early hours of the morning in the Caprice Lounge to usher in the New Year 2023 - much to the complete enjoyment of our 10 year old daughter who never stayed up so late and danced the night away!!! Relaxing at the Corinthia Palace comes in many shapes and forms - enough to mention the most welcoming Kelly at the beautiful Athenaeum Spa, which includes a very large indoor pool, to a walk in the surrounding gardens adorned with some lovely fountains. A truly memorable start to the New Year indeed and a hotel that cannot but be highly recommended to one and all.…
From the moment we arrived as a couple the welcome was awesome from Kayleigh on the front desk all the way through our 10 day holiday over Xmas. Everyone involved at this hotel are fantastic from the top staff and especially the Housemaids who done our cleaning and room service, not to mention Kevin the concierge. Brilliant hotel.recommend to anyone
My wife and myself are nearing the end of a most enjoyable stay at the 5 Star Corinthia Palace Malta Hotel which is located in the centre of the Island - a stones throw from both the President’s Residence and St Anton’s Gardens (see separate Review). A former Palace itself which was converted into a Hotel and opened by the late HRH The Duke of Edinburgh on 11 June 1968. A quality property from the moment one walks through the main door and this trend is reflected in all the public facilities - including the Spa and both the indoor and outdoor swimming pool areas. Accommodation is comfortable and spacious with all the usual amenities although by staying in an Executive Room we had access to the Executive Room on the Grounf Floor. We were extremely well looked after there by Denny and made good use of the the Afternoon Teas and Evening Canapés & Cocktails served daily at 1500 & 1800 hours. Similarly, Breakfast in the Villa Corinthia Restaurant was an absolute pleasure. The excellent Buffet is supplemented by selective dishes (we particularly liked the porridge and avocado on toast) overseen by Marissa who could not have been more helpful. Another member of staff who was most user-friendly was the Concierge Kevin who was full of useful information and able to cater for all our needs - including making use of the 1000 hours shuttle service (I say shuttle but we were also given access to the limousine) to Valletta. This includes a pick-up at 1600 hours but we opted for the 54 Public Bus which conveniently stops at Strickland - just a short walk from the Hotel. All in all, it has been an excellent week - supplemented by lovely sunny weather - and one that we may well repeat next year!…
Our second holiday at the Corinthia Palace and it was fabulous, the rooms are spacious and housekeeping excellent, swimming pool area really well kept and the Spa and indoor pool which were being renovated when we last visited were beautiful. We had access to the executive lounge and were really well looked after by Denny who went above and beyond to give excellent service. Location of the hotel is perfect, easy to visit most areas of the island and we found some good restaurants to walk to in the evening. I'm sure we'll be back...
I spent 3 nights here recently and was very impressed. The service was spot on from check in to check out. Classic good old fashioned service of the best kind. The room was spacious and amenities were great. Breakfast was excellent. The pool area was neat and well run. I didn't try the spa but it looked great. A calm, comdortable, well run place to stay. Thank you
Another fantastic stay at a Corinthia hotel. Excellent from arrival to departure. Reception staff so friendly and helpful. Lovely room and balcony and access to executive lounge. Pool is lovely as is spa pool Breakfast choice was very good, mushroom & truffle hollandaise was delicious. Set in a quiet area, ask at reception to book their courtesy transport into Valetta, 10am and 4pm return, definitely worth it. Taxi price back to airport was a little pricey 35€, where we paid 20€ from airport with local taxi. San Anton gardens are a 5 minute walk away as are a couple of nice restaurants. Local bus not far from hotel which travels from Valetta and also up to old town. Would love to return
