Very good breakfast;
Good parking space
The beach nearby is beautiful and not crowded;

We found a scorpion in our room. When we asked the male owner if it was poisonous he acted like it’s just normal to find scorpions around and nothing to worry about. We had our 3 year old son in the room with us, of course we will be worried!
There’s no cell phone coverage in the village. The wifi connection from the hotel is very poor, almost inexistent.
Room is small, bed is very hard (feels like you are sleeping on the floor);
Pillows very thin and old;
Towels are old and small.
The hotel is far from the Villages, you will need a car for everything.
There’s only one restaurant nearby (very good food btw);
It’s far from Pula ( approximately 30min);
AC unit doesn’t work well, it only makes noises but doesn’t actually cool the room. We were hot the entire night, horrible;
No lift;
No fridge in the room;
Balcony door doesn’t close properly.

We spent a couple of very relaxing days at this hotel. The pool was lovely and although there was only one restaurant nearby the food was very good. The peace and tranquility of this hotel makes up for anything. We followed this stay with stays in Opatija and then Fanzana but missed the peacefulness that this hotel offers. O.K the WIFI wasn't brilliant and the rooms are basic but they were clean and Carmen offers a lovely breakfast.

Initially very friendly, in hindsight even too friendly, in the end they behaved badly when it came time to pay, not respecting the terms imposed by booking who then obviously refunded us. In the exchange of messages they also invented things that never happened, therefore also liars. The structure needs to be completely revised, in the 90s it was certainly welcoming, but no longer. Pool and exteriors left to their own devices, poor cleaning of both the pool and the sunbeds, wooden platforms and broken chairs, rooms with shower cubicles and broken handles etc...certainly at that price these are unacceptable things. Two star place if it goes well. TO AVOID!

We liked so much to be here. Very calm location, close to the rocky beach. The hotel was clear and lovely. The stuff - especially Carmen - were very kind and helpful. Good restaurants are close at the port and in Krnica too.

Two words: Stay elsewhere !

The rooms are pretty small and the furniture has seen better times. The staff consists of the owner family and somehow reminded me of the adams family - with the worst being the husband who also works as the waiter... absolutely unfriendly. Breakfast 'buffet' consists of two types of bread, 2-4 types of sausage, 1-2 types of cheese, 3 types of marmelade, cold eggs, 1-2 types of real dry cake. What pissed us off most was the 'coffee' - mixed from syrup in a machine. The real coffee machine was never operated because the owners were too busy watching italien telenovelas and shopping channels.
Half pension is a joke, how a dinner can be cooked that unedible is a miracle to me, I have seen better cooking in hospitals ! Better go to pizzeria Kum or the Pescatore Restaurant at the harbor. Room rates are ridiculously high - you can stay in appartments with way bigger rooms for half the price in Krnica. Watch out for checkout - the lady only calculates in Euro at overrated exchange rates you never get at the bank, insisting that this is the official exchange rate from the newspapers, as if she had to exchange your Kuna for Euros, thus charging you approximately 5 % extra if you cant pay Euro. No credit cards acccepted whatsoever, telling funny (yet invented, a.k.a. lies) stories about their card reader not working. When friends of mine had their maestro euro cards defunctional all of a sudden Visa was accepted...

Go somewhere else...

Situated just back in a small cove filled with fishing boats the attractive setting does not warrant the high price charged for what are very simple rooms in this hotel. Equipped with Ikea furniture of the cheapest range, there is no kettle, hairdryer, or toiletries provided and the bed, which is a good size is quite hard. The rooms are clean, although the bathroom could do with more attention and the bath towels are the size of hand towels. The air conditioning is put on at the discretion of the owner and when we asked she just told us to “open the window”. There is a very small television with 3 Italian channels. The breakfast is okay but we did not try dinner as the prices seemed very high. There is an attractive swimming pool in the grounds, but next door is a campsite/caravan park which must be noisy in high season.

The hotel is very popular with Germans, but they make up the majority of tourists in Croatia. At half the price I would say fine, but at the prices charged I cannot recommend this hotel as value for money and would say look for somewhere else.

I was so sure this was going to end our trip to Croatia on a perfect note. Last two days relaxing after a cycle through the islands. Its a pretty pink building with a lovely garden and swimming pool in a very very quiet inlet on the Istrian south coast. Pretty harbour with lots of boats, limited beach which is normal for this part of Croatia but the sea was clear and clean.
The hotel was full of charmless marble - floors, walls reception desk and the reception desk was never staffed. We had to look hard to find any staff and so there was no warm welcome. Rooms were perfectly fine, the food was perfectly fine for a small hotel restaurant although breakfast was not good - awful coffee machine probably loaded with some industrial dispenser coffee, orange cordial instead of juice and poor selection of cereals and bread. I think the hotel was mainly family run. Granny and grandson supervised breakfast and husband and wife did dinner. I think they had other jobs as well. I wish it had been better but it just didn't work for us.

This Hotel is more like a good B&B. It is family run and the staff are charming, friendly and offer good, straight advice with regards to the locality. The location is a quiet, sheltered bay which is peaceful at night time, may be too peaceful for some. Everything is shut by 10 pm. The hotel is surrounded by a camp site. The food is reasonable but tea and coffee are not the best- take your own pg tips and Nescafe for a decent morning cuppa! The location is up against a hill, which the sun sets behind, so no glorious sunsets here. The air con didn't operate well and with the summer heat we were forced to open the windows. We then got eaten alive by the mosquitoes. It was impossible to get a decent wi-fi signal in our room too- which would have served the children well and gave Mum and Dad some peace!
All in all, a charming, clean family run accommodation, but could have been better if the 'features' which are listed when you book actually worked.

Because of terrain configuration, zone is without mobile network and with very poor wi-fi signal. If you prefer your life/vacation in robinson style maybe this can be helpfull. If you live in modern era with social media, gadgets and normal communication without restrictions, you are in trouble.
