Nobody was around when I arrived ... the guy running the cafe nearby called someone. The only staff was one willing young man with almost no English, who had toothache! My room was very basic and I was kept awake by mosquitoes on the first night. Finally got them! The room was not visited each day so I made my own...

This is the best Ottantik Hotel that I have stayed. I sayed with my family and we had an excellent time. My kids very much enjoyed staying there. For next year, I have already book for two weeks. The garden is excellent and full of green and flowers. The owner of the hotel is very chatty and friendly. We look...

This was the worst place we stayed in Turkey. The Medusa House is next to the Temple of Apollo in Didim. Be very careful here. Two rooms were at the top of narrow stone stairs blocked by tree roots. The rooms were dingy, dark and dirty. The step from the bedroom to the bathroom was over inches and the toilet/shower...

From the outside the place looks like a pretty old villa. Inside the rooms are very small. The toilet is practically in the shower curtains. There is no fridge, television or bedside table. Very poor finishings, especially in the bathroom. Poorest breakfast we have had in Turkey. Top prices for a poor establishment - prices should be halved.

DON'T EVER DARE TO GO IN THERE. There was an overall of NO food service, the beds were unbearably uncomfortable, sheets and pillows were dirty. Also there was some disgusting bugs emerging out of the sink. The showers wouldn't work, there was no heat setting, and here'S the funny part- there was a box TV that looked as if it...

I had to be in the Didyma area for work and first read about this place on tripadvisor. The reviews were scathing so I looked for some place else. But a colleague who has stayed here in the past said it was just fine - and as the other choices in town were not to my liking I took a...

I can not state clearly enough how bad i found this place, which is such a shame as it could be amazing. On arriving it looks as if it was going to be nice. It's a charming building and garden that has been allowed to decay. From the outside it still has possibilities but inside it's a different story. The...

This is the sort of place that you see on documentaries about bad places to stay on holiday. The room was very small, poorly maintained and needed a thorough clean. There was a rat dropping in the hallway and the small rug in the room was dusty and grubby. The mat in the bathroom was visibly dirty and stiff with...
