This was the first hotel of our hiking trip up the west coast. The staff were really welcoming and helpful. We had foolishly thought that we could get a taxi here from Agios Matheos particularly as Agios Matheos is described as Corfu’s 2nd largest settlement! We asked about a taxi after we had alighted the bus, but there were none. Anyway the kind lady at the taverna telephoned the hotel and they kindly sent out a member of staff to rescue us. We had breakfast and dinner included in our stay and the sunset here was the best we saw all holiday. The location on the beach is great and we enjoyed the simplicity of the place. Don’t expect kettle and beach towels and you won’t be disappointed.
Whilst exploring Corfu we found Paramonas, a quiet bay, and decided to spend a couple of nights. Very clean, comfortable rooms. Great value. Lovely pool and direct access to the beach. Very relaxing. Friendly staff. Would recommend for couples and families looking for a traditional vacation.
Paramonas feels relatively basic as a hotel but has everything you could need on a simple Greek holiday. The hotel is in a lovely location literally on the seafront, has a quiet pool, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The bar/restaurant next door was entertaining for a glass of wine after dinner, and had live music while we were there. Lovely place for a dip in the sea. Wi-fi works if you’re on the stairs! Spotlessly clean.
Adequate for 3 star. Clean and pleasant hotel with mice grounds. Very friendly owner. Breakfast very limited and not very imaginative. Lovely helpful waiter in Sunset restaurant. The beach is now almost completely covered in mounds of dried foliage type leaves and vegetation detritus. It makes it a not very pleasant environment and it needs clearing to remotely look like the photos.
Good room with lovely large terrace looking out to sea. Fantastic service from Rolandos car hire who delivered a jeep perfectly on time. Dinner in Sunset Taverna was very good but breakfast in main hotel strangely disappointing.
