We stayed for one night during a trip to play Silloth Golf Course. A refurbishment of the Hotel is underway which is much needed with the decor in our room on the second floor very dated. Shower didn't function properly with low pressure and only cold water at head height but hot water when the nozzle was used by hand... More

I had a lovely attic room with a view across the green to the sea with a full bathroom and all the amenities including tea and coffee. Really cosy and clean spacious room and friendly helpful staff. A cracking full English breakfast in the morning. Really enjoyed my stay thanks!

We went here twice while on holiday in Silloth. There was 11 of us and everyone's meal was fantastic. Menu doesn't look much but you'll be pleasantly surprised when your food arrives. I can personally recommend the lamb Henry and sweet and sour chicken

The Golf Hotel difficult to find as shrouded in scaffolding and no big sign or banner with Hotel name - please do this. We chose the Golf Hotel for last minute weekend away and the fact it was undergoing a massive refurbishment was not advertised. I was prepared to be truly disappointed as on opening both our room doors it... More

We visited the Golf Hotel for Sunday lunch with the family. The majority of the family opted for the Sunday Carvery which was very reasonably priced. Overall, the service was good and the food was priced in line with the quality and variety. It's a nice little place to stop off for a bite to eat. If you're looking for... More

Although the hotel is getting renovated just now, the Golf Hotel is still offering a great meal, with excellent customer service at reasonable prices. The staff were very helpful and family friendly. There is a good choice of food and it really is excellent.

We had our two monthly stay at the Golf to deal locally with the affairs of a distant relatives. Once again treated with great care and friendliness by all the staff. Hotel under new ownership and essential maintenance being carried out. Look forward to seeing the renovations completed.

The hotel is extremely dated and shabby looking, the service on the other hand was good. They said they had bike storage but this meant dragging our bikes up and down stairs in and out of a cellar where the doors barely opened wide enough to get a bike through. Very basic bathrooms with temperamental showers and loo's that wouldn't... More

We ate in The Golf hotel several times during our stay in Silloth. We found it to have a good menu selection and reasonably priced. The quality of the food was exceptional, and the portions were a good size. We had the carvery on the Sunday, it was amazing, good selection of quality meats, Yorkshire puddings the size of a... Been here many times. It's really hit and miss for food. But it's now under new management so hopefully things will improve. Prices are reasonable. Never stayed overnight but reports are that some rooms ok others and not... much like the food!

Thank you for posting your review. Having purchased the hotel in April my team and I have been working hard to improve the menu & provide a uniform level of quality across all areas.
