My partner and I stayed here for one night while attending a wedding locally and we so pleased we did. Jackie and Ray were lovely and welcomed us into their home despite asking for an early check in due to the time of the wedding. The room we had was simply perfect for what we needed. It was clean, spacious... More

I knew we were going to receive a warm welcome since Jackie was so friendly during the booking process, and let us arrive early before our wedding at Priston Mill. She showed us to our room which overlooked the garden and had a large private bathroom attached to it. This is a great find and compared to most accommodation around... More

My daughter and I stayed here the night before her wedding. We were made so welcome by the very friendly Jackie and Ray. They were just great. We caused chaos getting ready the next day, but they took it in their stride and Jackie even saved the wedding dress ! They have a wonderful home and they cook a tasty... More

I stayed in the family suite with my husband our 2 young children and my grandad my mum and my sister as we where all attending a family wedding near by. There was room for all of us with the adjoining room the family suite has. Jacky is very nice and welcoming room is spotless. Breakfast was nice with continental... More

If you're looking for a B&B this is the place. Perfect location for all the sights. Very clean, plenty of space, lovely hosts, fantastic breakfast. As a family with 3 children we find it hard to find somewhere with 3proper beds and still have space. This is the place to go. Great tips for our hosts. Like staying with friends... More

As our first 'proper' B&B stay, this will be hard to beat. Jacky and Ray made us feel very welcome in their fantastic family room accommodation. Their enthusiasm and knowledge of the surrounding area, complimented with an excellent English Breakfast set us up for each day of exploring and adventure. We would have no problem in recommending The Timbers as... More

I stayed at the Timbers as a sole traveler and it was perfect. I was close to my friends I was visiting but was very lucky to have a lovely clean space to myself with everything available that I could want. Jacky and her husbands experience in the industry shines through and makes for a easy and relaxed stay. The... More

A fantastic family room layout with 2 separate rooms allowing privacy and space from the kids. Well stocked with games and separate tvs. Lovely gardens. Yummy breakfast and accomodating and friendly hosts. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed for 3 great nights in the lovely family room - me my wife and 3 kids aged 9, 7 and 3. The family room(s) are great for a young family with the adjoining bedrooms and private entrance and bathroom. The Timbers is a great location within 20-30mins of both Longleat and Bath. The breakfast was just brilliant, and... More

We love staying in B&Bs but struggle to find ones that provide an adjoining room for our daughter. The Timbers offers just what we were looking for - a spacious adjoining room that our daughter loved (esp. the colour coordinated decor). The Timbers rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean and well appointed. There is ample parking and a lovely garden. Our... More
