Amazing hotel in the Yucatan, great service, beautiful room that feels like your outdoors. Private pool that is heated perfectly, and some of the best food and drinks that I have had at any resort in the world. This pave is a must visit

First-class resort in every way. Beautiful, private casitas with private pool. Excellent food. Well-trained and friendly staff. Spa facilities and treatments were wonderful. Good location for day trips to Mérida and to some of the cenotes. Highly recommend.

I have already stayed at Chablé Yucatán before and I was very happy with the resort so I was looking forward to staying there again. Unfortunately I was disappointed as the quality has decreased significantly. Some time before I arrived the general manager had left the property and currently there is no general manager there. This is the main reason for the quality drop. Unfortunately I only knew this once there. The resort is still very beautiful, the grounds are very well maintained and there are many beautiful corners, gardens etc. I love to walk in the resort or take a bike to get around and enjoy the nature. Also the casita is very nice, large room with lots of space for your belongings, large bathroom and a nice terrace with a plunge pool. You can enjoy the tranquility of your casita, it is very quiet and private. The spa is very nice with different whirlpools, sauna etc. The fine dining restaurant Ixiim is still very good, the chef is really talented. The staff there is very efficient and attentive and also very friendly. But unfortunately there were too many hiccups in the service overall. At the time of reservation, I had already some issues, for example I asked about reservations for Ixiim, but it took me several emails until the reservation was done. Nobody mentioned the fact I was a repeat guest, which should not happen in such place. The room was not ready at 14.00, despite they had several rooms available. The room was not very clean, in particular the garden was very messy when we arrived. The flip flops and slippers were the wrong size despite they knew our sizes before arrival. The name of my partner was written wrongly. All of these points are absolutely not a big issue, but when you claim to be one of the best hotels in the world (everywhere they post the fact they have been nominated by Pellegrino), and also being a leading hotel of the world. The Kiol restaurant was also not convincing this time. The quality of the food has dropped and the service was mich less attentive and efficient. One morning I had to wait one hour to get my cereal, almost half an hour to get my coffee, this is way too long, in particular when you are the only guest in the restaurant. As I had to leave early in the morning, they gave me a breakfast box. I must say I have never ever received such a bad breakfast in any cheap hotel, even breakfast at mc Donald is better than what I received. There was a greasy tasteless tomato and cheese sandwich and greasy chips, really disgusting , I had to throw it away. I mentioned these points to the staff at the reception and they were apologetic and tried to fix it, but without a manager around this was not really successful. I hope they can find soon a manager and hope they find again their level they had before. For the time being it is definitely not one of the best hotels in the world and also not on the level a member of the leading hotels of the world should have.

Chable Yucatan is a magical place. We loved it so much the first visit we came again for my birthday. From start to end, our time was perfectly delightful. We were warmly greeted on arrival and escorted to our casita. We were fortunate to have the same casita as our previous visit, so we were familiar with the room's workings. We especially enjoyed having relaxing music throughout our stay. I was warmly surprised by the booklet of birds of the Yucatan that had been prepared for my arrival, complete with the Spanish, English, and Mayan names, as well as photos taken by the staff and a description of each of the birds included. Such incredible thoughtfulness cannot go unnoticed. My bliss was meditation and yoga with Mariannela in the morning. She is incredibly knowledgeable and calming. Her classes are not to be missed, and your body and mind will thank you. After morning classes, I’d bike to meet my husband at the Ki’ol for breakfast. We absolutely love Ki-ol and all of the kind crew and chefs there. We thoroughly enjoyed having bikes to tour around the grounds and only once requested a golf cart pickup on a rainy evening. The paths and bikes are well-maintained, and the lit paths and the big flashlight in the room made biking our favorite mode of transportation. Part of our evening routine included a walk around the grounds, occasionally even hitting a few balls on the courts, then popping by the Main House to see what the interesting treats of the day were for La Marienda Experience. Before dinner, we took time to enjoy the sap and especially enjoyed the hydrotherapy. The staff and the spa were available and attentive without being imposing, and we looked forward to seeing them each evening. The cochintia was my absolute favorite, and I’m sure I had some for breakfast or lunch every day. For my birthday, Chef Gregorio prepared an exceptional cochinita experience for me. The crew prepared a tasting set-up in the garden where the cochinita cooks buried in the ground. Fresh corn tortillas, habanero with lime, and pickled onions were all prepared for my enjoyment to accompany the tender, flavorful meat. Absolutely do not miss a Meliponairo Experience with Andre. It’s an incredible undertaking to keep these bees protected and thriving. Remember that all the bee experiences are not available year-round, but take advantage of the opportunity to learn about their importance. The one evening we left the property, transportation was arranged by Chable, and we were extremely pleased with the service. Driving at night makes no sense when unfamiliar with the area. We can’t say enough about the poolside service, the in-the-jungle feel of the casita, and its fantastic bathroom area. Housekeeping even made sure to get more petite slippers and flip-flops for me. We were impressed on both visits by the attention to detail, the attentive service, and the availability of each and every member of the Chable crew to make our time as memorable as possible.

I had the opportunity to stay at Chable Yucatan and it was by far the most magical experience I've had. From the moment you arrive to the hotel, all the staff is ready to give you a warm welcome. The hotel is out of this world, you start walking and you feel peace, calm, and in touch with nature and story. I'm a Wedding Planner and I met with Heriberto from the Sales Department who has been amazing from the moment I've met him, so warm, he always replies super fast and goes above and beyond. He gave me a tour of the property and every place was better than the one before. The rooms are very spacious, private and impeccable, the design, architecture and the layout of each suite is perfect. We had coffee and pastries delivered to our terrace in the morning which was a lovely way to start our morning. The food is amazing, drinks are great and the staff is always very nice. We did stargazing at night and it was magical. No words can't describe our experience there. With no doubt I recommend this hotel and I can't wait to go back! Thank you Chable family!!

Surely the world’s best jungle resort! A sublime and sophisticated experience, Chable Yucatan is immaculately presented based on a traditional hacienda estate in the Mayan jungle. The hotel features a beautifully restored main house, and the remains of estate buildings carefully curated throughout. The accommodation - a series of individual casitas - was exceptional and we were looked after by the wonderful concierge team of Marianna and Graciela. There are lots of activities including padel, tennis, golf and a first class gym. Given how great this is place is, it’s just curious how empty the hotel was during our stay. Highly recommended.

Arriving from the hustle and bustle of Mexico City, this place felt indeed an oasis in the middle of the Mayan jungle. Other than the initial hiccups of slow check in due to room not yet been cleaned, we had an unforgettable four night stay here. Staff were super friendly and highly efficient- immediate WhatsApp messages seem to be a good idea given that there’s such a huge garden to roam about. The room was spacious and earthly decorated which reminds you of Mayan culture. We especially enjoyed the various tea selections in the room, the private pool as well as the outdoor shower. This would be THE place to stay if we come back to Yucatán.

Chablé Yucatan is absolutely the most incredible hotel experience we have ever had. We were surrounded by beautiful lush wild life with immense privacy in our own casita stocked with everything we could need including our own pool and bicycles to explore the property. The design of this hotel is precise, elegant, and beautiful. The hotel restaurants are also exquisite, delicious, healthy, locally sourced, and inspirational. I cannot say enough about the staff who all have been incredibly attentive and informative about the food, culture, and history of the Yucatan. Thank you, Chablé!

How long you should stay: I stayed four nights, but three might be sufficient, especially if you don't venture outside of the property much. Why you should go: Because the hotel is built on a former hacienda, the facilities and amenities are gorgeous and one of a kind. This is not some sleek, cookie-cutter hotel you can easily find in more touristy areas. It feels special, unique, isolated. But it's the graciousness of the staff that makes the experience at Chable so outstanding. Compared to other resorts I've stayed at in Mexico, Chable's hospitality takes the cake. You can just feel the kindness, sincerity, and genuine willingness to help from every member of the team. Why you might hesitate to go: It's billed as a luxury resort and the price reflects that. You also have to stomach the inflated cost of onsite food and drink (you'll likely eat mostly at the resort's two main restaurants, unless you venture to Merida 45 minutes away). Special shout-outs: The hotel manager Adal is a class act who showed us a lot of kindness when our flight was unexpectedly delayed and we had to stay another night. Fernando went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. We never waited any longer than a few minutes for a golf cart to arrive to take us from point A to point B! Marco mans the Main House bar and Sikar Bar. He's charming, welcoming, and just a delight. We did the meliponarium experience with Andre, who was a phenomenal guide! Learning about the special melipona bees was one of our favorite parts of the stay. I also have to highlight Pastor and Diana, who manned the front desk at check-in! They are incredibly patient, answer your queries almost instantaneously, and make it all so seamless. Finally, Mario teaches the complimentary yoga and meditation classes, which you should definitely check out.

Beautiful property - 2 hours from ocean - 3 hours to Pyramids. Overall pricing for food and drinks is very high. Neighboring properties are run down. The resort itself has a 8-12’ chainlink fence around it with razor wire. The rooms are fantastic. I would suggest no more than 3 nights unless you are an avid golfer. It’s very nice but if traveling for outside the Country I would not make the effort to return. Friendly staff - cocktails averaged 25 per drink and on average a bottle of wine was 2.5x what we expect to pay elsewhere. You are a captive audience.
