We were grateful to be at Chateau des Vigiers in September 2020, and enjoyed a safe and welcoming stay. The food at the Bistrot was excellent, and we look forward to the time when the new indoor pool will be completed, and another visit. The resort is now closed, but we feel we had a boost to assist us through the oncoming winter.

We had heard good things about this place and stayed for 3 nights on their dinner, bed and breakfast deal with golf included (approx £400 per night). The room was OK and clean but everything else is a bit sub-standard (except the chateau itself which is beautiful). Most Marriott resorts are far better and cheaper. It is also in the middle of nowhere so not particularly handy if you want to pop out for a glass of wine or bite to eat

I stayed here with my husband for 2 nights on an unlimited golf package which included a room in the Relais and breakfast. The room was beautiful, well appointed and clean. The bed was large and very comfortable. The golf was sublime! Three separate 9 holes and at times, you felt you were the only people out there! All the staff were polite, and friendly. The food in the bistro was wonderful. My only slight complaint was the price of soft drinks in 19th and also, it wasn’t open on Mondays and Tuesdays. Overall, a brilliant place to stay.

This was our first venture out since confinement and we were feeling a litle cautious and also rather vunerable, we were thrilled to discover this hotel/restaurant has taken every possible measure to ensure the safety of their guests and of course their staff. We had the most enjoyable lunch in Les Fresques today, the food, the wine, the ambience was all exceptional. They have just opened the newly refurbished Bistro, we had a peek in there and it looks amazing, we will be back very soon.

A great and special place - huge golf resort with several buildings centered around the Chateau itself. Great staff used to demanding and international guests. My room was actually in the Dependency and was huge - gym including sauna and two outdoor pools - not very big regarding the size of the domain, but OK to swim. Good breakfast and restaurant. The only issue was the poor wifi plus phone connections - depending on where is your room, there is no signal at all. Apart from that, a great and unique stay.
