Amazingly friendly hosts. Absolutely perfect rooms, modern, clean and quite. Close to beaches and Spain. Lovely hikes. Will most definitely go back if given the chance. Family friendly and access to an outside terrace. Also, great for a romantic getaway.

We stayed at Apitoki in the Pays Basque for three nights on a road trip round France - although it was initially hard to find (its location confounds the satnav) when we phoned for instructions we were well directed. The house is very comfortable with stunning views of the mountains and a really lovely terrace which became a perfect place...

We stayed 6 nights a few weeks ago had a great stay. Being made to feel very welcome and have the hosts' hospitality as a really memorable part of our holiday was great. The house and rooms are very modern, spacious, nicely decorated and perfectly clean. Having the use of a dining table inside and on the terrace plus a...

I would highly reccomand this B&B for family or couples. The rooms are very nice and colorful ,clean and warm. Nice breakfast. But most of all,the owner are very friendly and helpfull with any information about the area or anyting else you may need. The last day we left at 6.30 am and she insisted to serve us breakfast anyway....

We booked two nights at Apitoki in August and loved it from the beginning. The hosts David and his wife were welcoming and helpful with us. David helped us to plan our little journey in the Basque Country. The house is close to St-Jean de Luz, Biarritz, Bayonne, Espelette and San Sebastian (Spain). Please note you need a car to...

We stayed there 5 days and enjoyed it very much! The house is amazing; it's incredibly big and the surronding scenery is stunning with the pyreeneas in front of us. We went as a couple and had the lavender room. The wardrobe provided sufficient place to unpack everything, the shower was really nice, modern with good pressure, our room had...

Apitoki is brilliant but in a cool, relaxed kind of way. The location is superb, not too far out of town and in a spectacular setting with views to La Rhune. Our room was fairly minimalist but stylish too with an en-suite shower room and terrace overlooking the front garden. Breakfast is served on the side terrace with views to...

Starting with the practical stuff: The rooms were lovely. Everything super clean and a modern bathroom which was great. Each room has a little veranda so you could sit and enjoy the evening sunshine as it disappeared behind the hills - a perfect way to end the day! The breakfast was served outside on the main veranda (a different one...

We stayed for one night at Apitoki in early June, as a stopover on the way from the Bilbao ferry to our holiday in the Dordogne region, so we wanted somewhere to stay the night that was not far off the main Autoroute from Spain into France. And we were very glad we went there, as the house and its...

Apitoki is a very special place- clean and modern, peaceful and situated in charming Basque countryside. David was a warm and friendly host, with many great local tips and recommendations. We also met some fantastic people staying as guests here. We loved staying a bit outside the town of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, to enjoy the beautiful countryside and avoid the bulk of...
