Really nice hotel in a fantastic location, our room had a panorama window and the view over the lake/sea and the mountains is the best I have ever had in a hotel! The room was spacious, very nicely furnished and clean. The breakfast was excellent with a good selection of high quality food and plenty of coffee. The owners are really...

I booked this place under the belief that it was 4.5 stars. It was a very dull experience. The rooms were damp, the pool was tiny and tired and the food was less than average. It was the one disappointment we had on our trip to South Africa.

Charming guest house nested in green bushes, trees and lowers,an original place! Best Bobotie(typical South african dish) also very good breakfast, excellent cook to my point of view!!! The pool was also in a nice setting. Most interesting surroundings and don't miss the village and the art center, hello Rico...

A quaint hotel handy for everything on offer in Stormsriver. The rooms are a bit tired and would benefit from some maintenance. Food on offer was not too bad although they little to to offer a vegetarian despite having provided advance request. Watch out for the cheeky monkeys!!

Lovely rooms, comfortably furnished with that combination of comfortably old school and modern functionality. Definitely recommend for a romantic getaway in a cozy forest retreat. Food is also excellent with very friendly staff and manager Hano. Loads to do in the area.

Excellent restaurant, so we ended up having all our dinners at Rafters. Only disappointment was that most of the wines listed were out all 3 evenings. If you have the chance book the Candlewood apartment, a unique hideaway. Superb location for exploring Stormsriver adventures.

Property is situated in lovely gardens at the entrance to storms River village. Staff and the breakfast were excellent. Room was well maintained and comfortable, but also a bit dated. My only main negatives were that the room was a bit dark because of the large vine growing over the patio, and was also a little damp (although it did...

We had 2 rooms booked. The one was renovated and perfectly fine, the other was old and shabby. Carpets were dirty and stained. The bassin in the bathroom is on knee height and there were no glasses for the tootbrush and very limited soap and shampoo. We staye d 2 nights and nothing was changed or added. Why an extra...

Dear Yvette: Thank you for your recent review! Harsh but fair - not so sure? but Yes! We are gradually upgrading! Builders are in short supply in our rather remote Village. Wine list is sophisticated, but wines had been consumed with great speed & alacrity through a busy Festive Season. You and your Guests arrived as we tapered off Business...

I and my boyfriend had an amazing time in one of the luxurious and spacious rooms at this hotel. Even though we spent just one night there, our rest was amazing. The place is in the forests surrounded by many trees and the greenery. I would highly recommend this place for everyone who is seeking for quietness and peace.
