Lots of pros: friendly staff, great location (right at the beach), short walk to fishermans village, clean, quiet! Cons: no screens on windows so we didn't want to let mosquitos in at night and ended up pretty warm without the air flow, have to walk down a creepy alleyway to get there which may deter you but don't let it!...

This place is great for a simple, laid-back stay on the beach. If you want to lay around, swim a little, drink Mai Tais, eat pizza, and get massages, this is it. It's an easy walk to fisherman's village, but you can also easily chill at the bungalow. The massage staff are so nice and provide a cheap, relaxing massage....

Stayed here just under a year ago, so I realise this is a bit outdated, but would still recommend nonetheless. Location is superb, right on the beach. Rooms are comfortable and clean, with a nice touch on the decoration side of things. Food and drinks at the bar/restaurant are good value (and yummy!) Friendly staff.

Stayed here with my brother his wife and a friend. I think overall it was a good choice of location, the setting idyllic , the beach amazing the sea like bath water. Our arrival was fine no particular issue other than I don't like my passport out of my sight and they put it in a box on the bar......

The welcoming is just like the name : Cactus 😖 If you look after the boss just check the man in front of the laptop, here he is all day long. In fact he is certainly not the boss since he cares about nothing, including you except to make you take out your money . Do not expect either the...

Stayed at the bungalow for a week and we were surprised about the general maintenance of the area. Bungalows are really outdated, moldy bathroom with a horrible water smell, dirty lamps with spiderwebs, filthy ceiling....on top of all, the service was not pleasant. None of the servers at the restaurant greeted us unless we spoke to them first, and we...

Cactus Bungalow, a little of the main road but really right on the beach. A strip of land with approx 16 bungalows ends at the reception/bar/restaurant on the beach. The bungalows simple and effectively decorated, large bed, bathroom/toilet airco(or fan), cable-tv and safe. yes, basic but clean and it all works! WiFi in the bar area. If you need more...

We booked into Cactus because of good reviews her on TA and low price for the bungalows. We felt a bit dissapointed after arriving Cactus. We first stayed in bungalow #11, located at the back from the beach. The bungalow was basic still spacious and you had everything you needed for some days at the beach. There was a moldy...

The rooms were exactly as pictured. The restaurant was a little overpriced, but had awesome margaritas and good breakfasts! The beach is right there....with beautiful views of the neighboring islands.

Gotta say, this place exceeded my expectations. It's a cheap 2 star bungalow place right on the beautiful Bophut beach in Samui. We originally booked for 19 nights but had to leave after 10 due to torrential rain, but we enjoyed every moment at Cactus Bungalows regardless of weather. Jeff, the manager, was always very accommodating and was constantly asking...
