We stayed in an upper room which had a Queen sized bed and a double pull out settee. The room was spacious and my only comment was it wasn’t really 5* but like you say you’re not spending too much time in there. It is a lovely resort and the staff are excellent.

There is not much afternoon sun across the whole resort as the hotel is flanked to the west by a large hill. We went in May and by 4/5pm, the sun had gone behind the hill each day. Also, the villas have very high walls, so I wouldn't expect any of them to be getting direct rays too much either side of midday. That said, the sun is so fierce you'll be thankful to come back to a shaded pool/garden.
