Stayed here for a couple of nights over New Years 2020. Was charmed by the little cafe and yoga offering that joins onto the hotel. The rooms are as expected for the price (albeit a little more expensive than equivalent properties in the area). The owner is lovely, very personable and welcoming and you can easily spend a day taking part in the alternative wellness activities that the hotel offers (all for a good price). The cafe offering is an organic/ alternative eater’s dream - they have thought of literally everything. It’s tasty, healthy and visually appealing. The service here was occasionally disappointing however. On one occasion I waited over an hour for lunch, only for the staff to get the order wrong and I often had to go and get menus myself as often no one came to serve us. The only other slightly negative thing worth mentioning is — if breakfast is an option to pay for when booking, my advice is to skip it. You’re better off saving your money and buying your own from the cafe or from somewhere else as the complimentary breakfast was disappointing and a bit cheap looking/tasting. Was expecting similar quality to what is offered at the hotel cafe. Overall, a good choice for a couple of nights if you want access to the onsite wellness offerings and cafe.

Arriving in Koh Samui and at the Elysia Hotel, you instantly feel relaxed. The friendly smiles from staff and the cool jazz music make you feel at ease and ready to explore the island. At the Elysia, I was given room no.2 and was shown around the room by the owner, Patrick, which gave the experience an even more welcoming feel. The room was spacious, comfy and stylish. I had air conditioning and an overhead fan for when things got too chilly. The two welcome beers in the fridge for arrival added to the warm, calming feeling the hotel gives. The pool area and cafe are wonderful and well-kept. Due to the size of the hotel, most afternoons we had the pool to ourselves. The hotel is in the centre of Fisherman's village but on the edge so makes for a lovely wander in the evening and also keeps you a little distance from the hustle and bustle. A perfect location for those wanting a break, but with access to something to do. Patrick and his team were amazing from start to finish, they made it feel like you were staying with an old friend rather than as paying guests, always smiling, happy and going above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Staying at the Elysia resort has been wonderful, relaxing and a brilliant experience. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering Koh Samui and Fisherman's Village.

For us this is THE place to stay in Fisherman’s village! This beautiful little Boutique Hotel, decorated so nicely, the rooms all facing the beautiful garden with the pool in the middle, nicely kept and run by the most friendly and kind people and a little Restaurant that was Food Heaven to us! The most delicious but healthy food and drinks: all kinds of (superfood) bowls, healthy fresh juices and all kinds of other extremely tasteful dishes (some Thai as well) up to freshly made ‚golden latte‘. We has a lot of fun doing the free Salsa class, which is offered every Friday night right before the Salsa Party starts (which was great fun). And to me it was the best treat to drop out of bed in the morning right on my yoga mat and have one of the best yoga classes around, that are offered by Era, right there at this beautiful place! Thank you Patrick and Era for this beautiful place and for all you did to make it such a memorable stay for us!

Recommended to this hotel by a local couple. Met by Patrick the owner and his girlfriend who also run this place as a yoga retreat. They also give salsa lessons in their impressive studio. The rooms are a good size for Samui with aircon and fan. Bright and comfortable. Situated at the less busy end of Bophut Fishermans village with a shady courtyard and good size pool. I'll be back!

Cute, comfortable, clean, easy + very friendly and helpful staff. This place has it all - perfectly comfortable rooms with blasting A/C, an epic in-house restaurant serving all kinds of healthy goodies (spent most of my time there), fast wifi and great location. Oh and the yoga here is of superb quality - led by a top quality and highly knowledgeable yogi (I received a very impressive 90 min class). Shout out to Carol who went out of her way to help out with my stay here, accommodating multiple special requests - thanks!
