Lovely resort in a great location. Close to the airport, ferry port, shops and restaurants nearby and pretty much on the beach. The pools are nice, the infinity pool especially. No nightlife near by so not woken up at night - quiet area of the island. 300baht for a taxi arranged by reception to Chaweng Beach. Got driven down to...

I checked in after 7pm after a long day traveling. I was really tired and injured, they brought me to the bungalow which costed me 1,300bath for double bed and AC. Surprisingly I arrived at the bungalow and there were two beds. It was a twin room instead of double. The guy who drove me there asked me to wait...

The Samui Mermaid worked as a great stop off point for my friend and I before the Full Moon Party. The resort is a nice quaint hotel walking distance from the Island Ferry. This was extremely important to us since we had taken a bus/ferry connection from Krabi and were in desperate need of a wash/change/quick drink before taking our next...

The Mermaid is a nice little resort in a laid back part of the island. The bungalows are feeling a little tired and could do with sprucing up, curtains and nets washed or replaced and a could dust. This aside we enjoyed our stay here and will stay again. We stayed in a pool view bungalow and the few extra...

We arrived at the bungalow a day early and we were 'upgraded' to a different room as they didn't have the standard ones available. It stank of sewage and the door didn't close properly. Thankfully we only stayed one night. It was in a good location but the smell really put us off

It's right next to the beach if you book the beach side and otherwise just across the road you can get budget chalets with a fan. The service is good. The pools are nice too. One looks right at the beach. You can see airplanes almost flying in a 'you can touch zone' since the airport is nearby. Big Buddha...

I really don't understand people who rate this place with 1 only because of the planes. Yes it seems like they're landing in the garden but we all have access to the hotel location and a map. The place is very basic but okay. No bedbugs as some have mentioned. Since we stayed there in the beginning of December it...

Because of the bad weather i was stuck on Koh Samui on my way to Koh Tao. I crashed here for a night. Great hotel close to the pier and airport. The airplains are flying over the hotel so if you are a light sleeper... good luck! The restaurant is nice and serves Thai and western food of good quality....

The swimmming pool next the the garden rooms where we stayed was lovely and the gardens pretty. Please note thar thebhotel sits either side of a main road.
