If you take a shared mini bus it should cost you around 180 baht per person. You have to inquire at the taxi booth as you exit the Ko Samui airport baggage claim. Taxi's out of the airport are all working together and all propose the same price. That being said you must pay the price as walking to the street, you will not have much luck finding a taxi that will bring you to the Chawang area for less than 350 or 400 baht. Good luck!
