The rooms are NOT what you see on the internet at all. I arrived after staying at some really nice places in Koh Samui for way less than what Eden charged. The room they gave me was very dark and dingy, smelled awful - there was an obvious sewage issue that they were trying to cover up with a disgusting, cheap air freshener that was gag-worthy! I couldn't breathe in the room and had to open all of the doors and windows which was very unfortunate as the humidity was at an all time high and the room then became a total sweat-box. As the room was so dark and depressing, I asked the receptionist at the front desk if she would please give me the room that I booked on the internet and showed her a picture of the room and my confirmation. She said as they were booked it was not possible but she could move me the next day. Although unhappy about this, I agreed. Room was not ready so I decided to have lunch at the restaurant. The owner (male) took my order and was pleasant enough, however his wife came to my table and tried to tell me that there was something going on with the moon and the stars that day and that's why the room was so dark. Um hello, I have traveled the world and know a lot about the moon and the stars and it had nothing to do with a dark, dingy, stinky, moldy room. She over-rode the managers decision to move me and was a cow the entire time. Her name is Pauline - try to avoid dealing with her if you want to have a nice time in Koh Samui - her husband started screaming at her after I cancelled my lunch and left the premises and she chased me down the entire long driveway entrance trying to apologize for her awful behavior. Running after me screaming my name. So embarrassing and so completely unprofessional! give this place a HUGE miss!!!

I can not stop laughing at your comment ! Remember the day after how we spoke together, offering a gin tonic , having fun together ! I am not speaking about stars or anything ! You were totally a strange woman and it was the first time I saw someone like you as of course we gave you the right room . You never spoke about any smell but just about the fact that there were too much trees in the front . And about my husband nobody scream after me , I run after you , 7 months pregnant , just to tell you that we are here for you and we don’t want you to be disappointed. I change all my bookings so that you can have more lights but I imagine that the day after you were happy as you were staying in the restaurant everyday , sealing and smiling at me all the time , so finally I was not so awful ! About my way to take care of my place ? Just read the other advises on Tripadvisor I really seem to be an unprofessional women ! Anyway you make my day , thanks for this so funny comments . No need to come back of course .

We stayed for 4 nights in one of the 2bedroom bungalows. From the moment we opened the door to bungalow Tawan we were in love with the place. Two large bedrooms with king beds, our own pool and indoor/outdoor living we dream of having at home one day. The communal pool is also beautiful, right on the beach. You can enjoy happy hour cocktails at the bar as the sun goes down. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing time in Koh Samui. And I’d say splashing out on one of the bungalows is well worth it!

We loved the vibe of Eden. Very lush greenery, well-maintained property. We got one of the larger bungalows and it was very nice, although often smelled musty - seems to be pretty typical of bungalows in Thailand though! There were more families than we expected, so we did have to deal with kids cannonballs and screaming at the pool. Walk to town, either on the sand or street.

We originally booked a hotel closer to the centre. Upon arrival we were informed that the main pool was closed and as a result we cancelled our booking and moved to Eden Beach Bungalows. What a move that turned out to be! Way better than where we originally booked. Super chilled, fantastic pool and it's own stretch of beach. There had been an error on Booking.com and all the bungalows were occupied. So Lek on reception and the manager upgraded us to a villa at no extra charge. Lek has been fantastic always smiling and happy to help us. We had booked a dive trip and said we would miss breakfast she arranged for us to have one taken away. Restaurant is great and you can tell everyone here is looking for the same thing....relaxation. a real good vibe to this place 👍. One of the best places we've stayed and as a result we even booked to stay an extra night and shorten our visit to Bangkok.
