Of all the places I have been in Thailand Samui rates the highest By far the best beach holiday anyway. World Resort Bungalows are fantastic. The one I had was so close to the beach I could hear the sea. Familly run place with super friendly helpfully staff

We returned to World Resort - this time travelling with two kids (one aged 3 months and one aged two years). The resort is perfect for families. Especially the Family Bungalows, which consist of two rooms (and actually have two bathrooms each). The staff is really friendly, which is especially helpfull travelling with small kids. The rest of the guests seemed...

The staff were friendly and the rooms were really big and comfy. However I found myself having to taxi everywhere because it was quite far away from the main attractions, beaches, and even cheap places to eat. the pro of this is that it's really quiet and good if you want to escape the craziness. Note, that they don't have...

We stayed at world resort in March 2015, and we very impressed. We were surprise by the generous size of the rooms, along with the relaxing patio area with lounge chairs. We really enjoyed the breakfast options each morning, with a great variety and freshly cooked omelette available. The location is certainly not in the heart of things, but it...

Good points: On the beach, friendly staff, nice breakfast, free airport pickup. Con: Not enough sunbeds, no beach at high tide, staff a bit slow to offer coffee at breakfast, accommodation a bit tired but I understand that a refit is due. Long way from Fishermans' Village nightlife.

We have visited Bophut on 15 occasions, but this was our first vist to World Resort. We were pleasantly surprised by the character of the resort, which is more Thai than some of the modern hotels. The location right on the beach was superb. All the staff, particularly the reception staff were very friendly and attentive and solved any problem...

The hotel is nice and the room was very big. Bathroom was small and the tiling was dirty. Swimming pool looks great on the pictures, but is very small and surrounded with trees. The view from the restaurant is great. The beach is very small, so come early if you want to have a great spot in the sun. You...

we booked a standard twin bungalow for 3 nights at world resort hotel in Bo Pout Koh Samui. The bungalow was totally different from the pictures advertised on the web site , much older, darker and dirtier... basically a totally different room! The first thing that greeted us as we entered the room was the smell of mould and dump! even...

This resort is located right off the main road in Koh Samui. Staff was courteous and pleasant. Restaurant is located on the beach. Pleasant meals by the seashore. The rooms were ok with the exception of ants all over the place and no hot water. It was lukewarm. But if it were summer, the water would be perfect. I would...

Even though the weather was poor, warm but very windy we really enjoyed our few days here. The rooms were bright and clean with plenty of storage space. The pool area is pleasant with shade under colourful bourganvilla trees. Breakfast was excellent and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Staff at reception were great even ironing a dress for me....
