Travelers' Choice
Situated on Bophut beach in the northeast of the island, the Peace Resort is a newly refurbished, friendly bungalow style resort, ideal for a relaxing family getaway. The style is best described as contemporary Thai with the architecture following local traditions, but a transformation in 2008 has given a more up-scale look and feel while the prices have remained very reasonable. The resort is well laid out in small buildings, ensuring a more intimate, human scale, while the grounds are tranquil and green, with a restaurant that spills out onto the beach.

What you see is what you get! Lovely hotel and is well maintained. I booked the Deluxe Terrace Rooms for a 3 night stay. The pictures posted in the website of the room is as real as it gets. The room was very lovely and newly renovated. The deluxe terrace room was spacious and well maintained. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. One downside of the room is that it's directly above the rooms with plunge pools which could get a bit noisy when the guests are using their plunge pools. The location of the hotel is on the quite part of Bo Phut beach but is still within walking distance (about 10mins) to Fisherman's village.

My wife and I stayed here and booked a plunge pool room during August 2020. We got a very good deal which included a airport transfer in the price. The room was excellent, nice and modern, large and clean. The plunge pool was a reasonable size. I think the area around the plunge pools could be improved aesthetically. The main pool was OK, nothing special, but the beach was lovely to walk on and enjoy some drinks. Breakfast was good lots on offer. They definetly look after the grounds at Peace resort. The only issue (unless you dont mind walking) is the distance to the restaurants in fishermans village. Its quite a trek. But its certainly worth it and all in all a good value hotel. We would like to thank the staff who looked after us during our stay.

I love Peace resort and their pool villas. The resort is nicely located within walking distance from Fisherman Village. The staff here is very service minded and friendly. I ordered ice buckets to my room and also had to call engineering for work on the aircon. Every time they turned up within minutes and was super friendly and professional. 5 star to the staff! :-) What keeps this resort from a perfect 5 star is small things with the room. Firstly there isn’t a door between the toilet area and the bedroom. Looks sweet in the beginning but when you have to do nature’s number 2, I don’t want to look my girlfriend in the eye as she is laying in the bed. A thin linen cloth on the sliding door would make this experience much less awkward. Also the outside sitting area. It should have plants covering so that you can’t see people walk past outside. It had but they were to thinly planted so they didn’t cover enough. A table by the pool to put your drinks on or a small Sala would make the pool area perfect.
