i booked 3 nights but finally stayed 6. very chilled hostel and perfect if you can ride a motorbike or don't wanna go out for party every night. the girl at the reception is very friendly and funny and try to help as good as possible as long as you're polite and friendly. for the price of 250 bath it's clean and you can have a very nice time there. her dog is a cute french bulldog, but i growed up with dogs and can handle them. also met a nice and cute rastagirl there. so, all in all it's very nice, but don't expect a five star hotel...

This hostel has such good potential but unfortunately right now it's not good. Whether it's because I went in low season but there was absolutely no atmosphere- I was the only person in my dorm, and possibly the whole hostel as I didn't see any other guests the whole time I was there. The entire hostel was dirty, the dorms looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while. The dorms were very very basic, the lockers didn't work, the floor was dirty, there was one plug socket for the whole room, so good job I was on my own. Beds were uncomfortable and some of the beds looked like they hadn't been cleaned. The toilets were disgusting, smelly and dirty and sinks were broken. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here because I don't even think it's worth the very cheap price. The only nice thing was young girl in reception as she was helpful and friendly- even though her dog kept trying to attack me.

When we arrived, we had to wait until the staff would wake up. When we told her we booked a double room she rolled her eyes and was clearly annoyed, she told us to wait as the room wasn't clean yet (5 pm though...). The room was still really dirty (she had just changed the sheets in fact), the sink wasn't working at all (we had to use the shower to wash our hands), and the bathroom stank incredibly hard during our entire stay!! The trash was still full from the previous guests, stains on the towels,... After that one time we saw a member of the staff we didn't see anyone for the rest of our stay. The place looked completely deserted and run down. It's really a shame since the building in itself is nice but it looked like no one was taking care of it at all... We decided to change places after two nights. We went to Kluay Mai guesthouse (Chaweng beach), which costed 80 baht more and waaaayyyy better.

the rooms were okay. clean and airconditioned but the beds were not very solid and we got only a small fleece blanket to sleep under. the bathroom and toilet were dirty. dead bugs on the ground and not cleaned in a while. owner is a really nice guy but i guess he doesnt really understand how important customer satisfaction is. price is really low so you get what you pay for.
