1) Affordable with exceptional quality of rooms and staff service;
2) The spa services are well priced and impeccable well-trained therapists;
3) our room was comfortable, well stocked and the king size bed and bathtub were highlights;

Sanctuary is a hidden gem for a wellness resort. Sharing my experience of joining one of their spa holiday programs, I found the location to be perfect for relaxation. Despite being small, it offers all the necessary facilities, including a spa, restaurants, and most notably, the exceptional staff, especially Alis, who made the entire experience unforgettable. We came back for a short break just three months after our recent visit to Absolute Sanctuary. As always, the staff are very friendly and accommodating to our requests. As it was the rainy season, the resort was not too busy so it was a perfect time for a quiet and restive getaway. The room was in tip-top condition and Love Kitchen was simply lovely, serving healthy and yummy fresh meals! 😋 Looking forward to coming back again in a few months’ time. 🥰

Spent 3 days 2 nights here on my own. Overall. It’s good. It’s not crowded when I was there so spending time by the pool was very decent.
The room was nice and clean. I liked that it’s also bright with the amenities in place. Housekeeping was great.
I did two yoga classes which were fine. The jungle studio could do with some upgrading. The yoga mat I had also had some unpleasant smell. The shala was nice for morning yoga.
The Pilates reformers were great. The teacher was wonderful and the room looked immaculate. It’s my first time doing the reformer and it was a great experience.
The food was tasty. With the package I had, I could choose two dishes in a meal. The portion was small and I was fasting most days so the meal was sufficient for me. I am not sure if it’d be enough for others on any normal days though.
I loved that there was ginger tea and daily soup provided in gratis. I didn’t have any soup but did have at least a cup or two of fresh ginger tea whilst I was fasting. It’s a nice touch.
Overall, it was all good. I did wonder on my last day why they would use bleach and scrub the ground by the pool during the day though when guests were there instead of doing it early morning or after sunset.

This was the third time that my husband and I have gone to A.S., this time was fpr a 3 week stay. We will do a long stay next year as well. The resort caters to each and every one of its guests. They remember your name, preferred juices etc. It is the only resort I have found in Thailand which has pilates machines and a qualified instructor We ended our days with a light yoga class, but are preference is pilates so we enjoyed 2 or 3 classes a day. The food is made with wonderful ingredients, and the menu is full of excellent choices. Last year, I went by myself, and found myself extremely comfortable by being a single woman at the resort. I was not the only single woman there, and this year there were also several single men, as well. The atmosphere is very relaxed and it is just fine to eat by oneself, as is to ask someone if you might ioin them. The rooms have been renovated, and have lost some of the charm the older decor had, but the improved wifi allowed us to work whenever we needed to. We would not have been able to have an extended stay if the wifi hadn't been adequate. Truly the only negative I can think of is that the restaurant tables are rather uncomfortable to get seated. The legs are in your way, but that is a small issue in the entire resort. I would certainly give them a 10 out of 10-

I stayed for 7 nights and did a “Be Fit” package which includes daily private PT sessions and group yoga + 1 pilates reformer group class in addition to 3x meals/day. I was 100% satisfied with my experience and here is why: Facility: it’s at a very quite corner of the island with limited number of guests, everything is easily accessible and maintenance is excellent. It’s clean and comfortable everywhere with great wifi coverage. Food: Their kitchen focuses on gluten-free, no added-sugar, nutritious recipes and offers a very wide range. I tried a different option on every meal and I loved them all, plus the juices help with the sugar cravings. Sports: Shoutout to Coach Kevin for being very knowledgeable and encouraging: I’ve enjoyed my HIIT, strength and pilates classes with him and I think he added a lot of value to my experience. Also yoga instructor Jana is amazing with a variety of classes everyday. Spa: My package included a massage every day and I was always satisfied with how professional the therapists were and how clean the entire spa is. Front desk and kitchen staff are also very kind and friendly, I would definitely want to be back to the Sanctuary!

We recently hosted a wellness retreat at Absolute Sanctuary in Koh Samui, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The manager, Jee, is phenomenal at her job. She takes care of every detail, ensuring that each guest feels supported and receives the tender love and care they need to have an extraordinary experience in Thailand.
The staff is incredibly professional, helpful, and always welcoming with smiles. The grounds are immaculate, offering a serene and pristine environment. The on-site spa provides divine sessions and treatments, and the giant swimming pool, Himalayan salt therapy room, and beautiful gym cater to all wellness needs. The healthy kitchen is designed to nourish guests, helping them flourish throughout their stay.
We loved every moment of hosting our retreat here and can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for the ultimate haven, just 15 minutes from the airport, close to all that Koh Samui has to offer, yet tucked away enough for an intimate event, this is the ideal location for you. We are regular visitors to AS since 2011 and have come 6 or 7 times over the years. We keep coming back because it is such a comfortable place to do life changing programs, like detox or fitness or wellness. The smaller size of the resort makes you feel like you get personalized attention. I normally do a detox here but always give myself a few days extra after to enjoy their amazing menu of clean and wholesome meals, especially the thai influenced dishes.
The staff , kitchen, vitamin bar, spa, front desk and yoga, fitness and Pilates instructors always make your stay exceptional. I come back for the yoga classes with Jana, who is very knowledgeable about yoga and meditation and she always has a nice energetic demeanor ! Kevin who does the Pilates is excellent and super clear in his explanations.
Since their renovations during covid , the rooms and resort are even more comfortable than before , they have modernized the style and rooms and interiors are bright and super comfortable.
This is the best wellness resort on Koh Samui and is excellent value for money !

From my understanding during my time at Absolute Sanctuary, one could stay without having to purchase any package, thus B&B available and single reformer classes could be purchased separately depending on availability - although clients under the pilates bootcamp package had priority.
There were some people who did not stay at Absolute Sanctuary, but came solely for the PAYG option of pilates session. Best to call the helpful receptionists at Absolute Sanctuary to get a definitive answer as policies could have changed.
