8 years ago I have been at the Kosit Hill Hotel for the first time. This year I went there for the second time and nothing seem to have changed. A lick of paint here and there but that is it. The beds are very well, but the rest of the room and mainly the bathroom can use a refurbishment....

This is probably the biggest hotel in this rather sleepy town and I found myself wondering whether it ever gets full; it was certainly quiet when my friends and I were there recently. It has a somewhat eccentric appearance with cabinets full of collected items filling every nook and cranny. Some of the items looked like genuine antiques while other...

The old saying "you get what you pay for" is true for this hotel. Remember that you are in rural Thailand and not the big smoke of Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket or Hua Hin. The rooms are large and not expensive, however that is about it. There is a pool, however this is small considering the number of rooms. The hotel...

I thought it was 1960 again. I think the room decor hasn't been touched since then, though things are clean enough. I had to borrow a power strip so I could plug in my computer (100 baht deposit). The only problem was the air-conditioning, which was quite feeble and not up to the task of cooling the small room during...

Luckily - we only had to stay here 2 nights (would have stayed one night, but couldn't find another place at midnight - when we arrived in Phetchabun). This place is out dated and in need of repair! Long walk to get to our room also. The only saving grace to the place was the "free" breakfast we had before...

The room was dirty, fly infested (the bell hop kindly squished them on the window) , dingy, in need of a makeover, overlooked a toilet block and a few rusting buses, the fridge was very discoloured and rusting, the whole place smelt musty and for the first time ever in Thailand, I demanded my money back, they only agreed to...

First time staying in the area and found this hotel seems the most expensive. Room is cleaned and spacious but aged as most reviewers mentioned. Services is surprisingly good and breakfast is fine. One memorable thing was I had to passed through the long corridor with millions of moths before getting back to my room. 😖

As many has noted clean but a bit dated. But we had a comfortable stay couple of nights. They also have a very nice nightclub in the area for the ones into that. I guess that might disturb little if you have a room close by but was not a problem for us.

Stayed at this hotel for one night and rooms are dated but clean. The area has two other hotels but choose this more expensive one as it has a good pool. Every time visiting the restaurant I have been bitten by mosquitoes (yung in thai). I have a laugh each time...........in their menu for french fries you order FRANCE FRIED...

This hotel is fine, rooms clean but dated, got some nice features around - some antique displays etc. swimming pool outside is ok but gets busy. however for the price (b1500 a night) I would expect more than this, ie update the rooms.
