Getting here for a weekend the hotel become crowded on Saturday afternoon mainly from local customers.
Structure and rooms are well maintained and clean, only note is from the doors, they don't protect from any sound from the hallway.
The only swimming pole open (sea water)was tidy and clean, sadly on the whole structure we've find only two mattresses to place on the sunbeds.
Music on the outside pole (as often in Tunisia) is always too loud.like being in a open air disco.
Hotel personal at bar and reception are friendly and professional restaurant side they're understaffed and find a clean table is not always evident
Food is varied and well cooked.

Unsure how this hotel had bad reviews before we even arrived fedy had arranged our airport transfers and rooms. When we arrived our rooms was ready and we was checked in quickly. We had two four rooms on the 2nd floor with sea veiw rooms were clean and huge with 2 bathrooms 2 bedrooms and a living room type bit in the middle. Rooms had hair dryers free safe and a fridge was cleaned daily. The hotel itself is huge with two on site shops pools are large easy to get sunbeds with free mattresses all areas are clean The staff are all fantastic and couldn't do enough for u. Around the pool in the day you could get pizza, sandwiches, pancakes and ice cream. Our waiter in the restaurant had our table decorated and ready at meal times. The night time entertainment was good with shows and foam party which the kids loved my only complaints about this hotel was the shows at night was always in French and they never said it in English and the evening meal was always spicy food we had 2 plain eaters with us and they struggled at the evening meal could do with a kids section. Hotel is in an ideal location we had a lovley holiday the kids loved it here thanks to all the staff

Arrived at hotel on A Saturday evening around 8pm. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful. They showed us to our room (we paid a bit more and chose a suite online when booking).
The room was huge, the fixtures and fittings were dated and worn but everything was clean apart from some windows but these were easily sorted.
We chose this holiday because it was cheap for an "all inclusive" package. Therefore couldn't be disappointed with what we got for our money it was better than expected.
The food was wide and varied with regular lines so you could find your favourites with separate areas to grab crepes and ice cream from pool area so you didn't have to change to fetch them.
Also a pizza and sandwich bar available for an hour after the regular restaurant was closed so you could grab something if you missed the time slot.
The activities and entertainment was fantastic with plenty going on all day and night with the team working tirelessly all the time to encourage you to join in without being pushy. Blackie was fantastic ambassador for the hotel entertainment team looking after everyone in the family always saying hi and chatting to all of us.
The bar staff were friendly but could be a bit flirty with my daughter but not in an aggressive manner which is refreshing compared to other countries or even other areas in Tunisia I have been to.
Tunisia is a poor developing country and you are advised not to go out of tourist areas without a guide or in a big group. This I recommend highly and can be seen by the fact of armed checkpoints on the coming and going from the tourist areas.
We booked 3 excursions with the sales guys in the hotel lobby who are there everyday.
We booked Pirate ship sailing, Quad bike and camel riding.
We also went into Hammamet to the local theme parks Cathage Land, Aqua park and rode the King Kong roller-coaster, absolutely brilliant day. All so cheap.
Overall this holiday was brilliant with lots of fun and laughter, but if your looking for a little England abroad this is definitely not for you.

The service is really hood here. All the staff from reception, pool, bar and restuarant are really friendly and helpful. Especially a gent named Fady, he has been super helpful and made us feel very welcome. Besides the service the food has a good selection and made at a great standard. Would definately come again. The location is lovely and very close to the harbour including a 24 hour take out place which is around 10 minutes walk. The beach is literally accross the road and the views from the hotel are really nice. Overall I would give the food and service in this hotel 5 stars, they really put effort in their guests. Worth going all inclusive and great for the family.

Avoid this hotel at all costs!!!!!
Arrival-Well where do I begin ,on arrival got the most rudest receptionist (Fady)no welcome just a key stuck in our hands. We booked a family room for four adults.
Once at the room it was disgusting , very dirty, stained sheets, blocked sink with half of someone's dinner coming back up, broken bathy, no fridge, tv didn't work. One double bed and broken bunk beds which would fit a five year old not an adult .
We complained to the very unwelcoming and very rude staff at the reception who
were bombarded with other guests complaining.
They gave us a second room for 1 night before a family room was a available. This room was no better than the first in fact it was unused room. After travelling 12 hours we were exhausted.
Day 1-Okba offered us a family room bigger but the same dirty, no fridge
,tv not working, broken bath panel. 1 light bulb in the room which should have had five, no safe deposit box , even a cockroach was there to greet us.
Okba assured us he would sort everything. Safe deposit did come.
We tipped him £20 Sterling, We never saw him again. When you contact reception about anything in the room they just say “it will come” . Ten days later and we are still waiting. I went to the supermarket and purchased bleach and cleaning materials so I could clean
the room from top to bottom as no Expedia rep on site we were stuck
with no options.
Indoor pool is closed, outdoor pool ok first thing on the morning but by afternoon so cloudy, only cleaned it once during our stay.
Food was very bland, cold and the same
everyday .
Beach unable to use as it was like a farmyard with jelly fish .
This is no way a 4 star hotel it is 2 at the most.
Please I do not want your holiday to be spoilt, book somewhere else. The rude uncaring staff at this run down very dirty hotel will make you so stressed .
I went to Tunisia many times at hotels in the same area, some even on the same street and enjoyed, but this was my first and last time at El Mouradi El Menzah ,
Worst Hotel ever, Avoid!!!!!!!

I booked this in hope that the bad reviews were just blips and that the food reviews were true. I was mistaken. I have never left a review but after a lot of thought I felt I needed to comment on the issues I had.

The main issue I had was with the staff. I wanted to book two trips and was encouraged to book at the hotel reception even though I was looking in the tour guides book. They overcharged me and when I arrived for my day trip no one arrived for 30 minutes then the receptionist sent me with a man who didn’t speak English in his personal car. I was told this man was taking me to the coach, he didn’t he got on the motorway and in broken English he said he was taking me on the 3 city tour!!! I was a single female alone in a car with a strange man for over an hour being taken to god knows where. I was made to buy him lunch and he just left me at the first destination with no information other than to be back in 45 minutes. I was scared and asked to go back to the hotel, when I got back and complained the staff were not bothered or concerned and refused to refund me.

In top of being scared and conned by staff the actual hotel was poorly maintained. WiFi was horrible and only worked in the main reception area. I was bitten by mosquitoes every day even inside the building. The hallways and windows were filthy. The room was dated and rarely cleaned with chipped and cracked tiles in the bathroom. The food was repetitive and spicy, that’s if you could even get to the food! It was difficult to get food as there were huge crowds of people grabbing huge amounts of food only to leave it uneaten on their table. One of the pools was taped off and closed the whole time I was there. The hotel photographer asked me out for drinks and would not leave me alone for the whole week even after I lied and said I was married, to the point that on an evening I spent a lot of time in my room as I felt uncomfortable.

I hated this holiday and would never return to this hotel or country!

Very nice, kind and helpful hotel staff. They solved our every wish in a short time. They cleaned the room better when we asked, they gave us another room when the air conditioner was not repairable. The lobby is very stylish and huge, the decoration is cosy. The pool water temperature is refreshing, the water is clean. There are many huge pools. We got every food and drink that we wanted. There is a big variety of food. There are many local and foreign guests, but tables in the restaurant were always ensured.

This hotel is terrible, on the beach claims that this hotel has 3 main pools and 2 children’s pool and a pool with slides, there is 1 pool available to use the other one are derelict and very dangerous, if I had children here I would be terrified for their safety. They claim there is a kids club but nothing, the animation team is made up of 2 young girls and we have seen them twice. They claim there is an la carte restaurant, cafe, beachside restaurant, American bar, but there is no food available after 8 you can’t even buy any. The air conditioning in the rooms doesn’t work no mini bar as claimed and no safe in the rooms.

Check in was ok. Went in to the room and I noticed straight away of hairdryer broken, shower head broken. The bed was absolutly disgusting the bed cover was al covered of stains. The bed sheet seems not be changed from previous guests, I spoke to recpetion but nothing has been done. Recepionist was offering himself to drive me to airport on my departures for a cheaper Price, he did not call someone to change the bed linen. I slept in dirty bed linen for the night, I managed to get the changed Following day from the housekeeping Lady in the corridor. They change the shower head but not the hairdryer.

Wify works only in reception aerea that why is always so busy, everyone connect there for the internet.

Beach was Dirty, why nobody send a couple of people to clean it?

Food was good taste but Finding a table for absolutly an Adventure as the restaurant is always packed.

Shimming pool aerea very nice.

I would not return in this hotel.

On entering we was met by a receptionist he was polite. Room wasn't ready but gave us our bands.
When room was ready was taken to room, we booked sea view, that was beautiful. Found the doors onto the balcony didn't lock, they didn't want to know.
Bed was comfy. Bedding changed everyday, different stains on the sheets. Towels were changed everyday, they had to be as wet from drying the floor after a shower.
While in the lobby bar, waiter tried to get close to me, asking me to leave my husband and be with him, sex with him would be better than my husband, as he must be boring.
I made sure I wasn't left alone in the lobby bar.
Going for food was an experience. You would be treated better in a cattle market. Being pushed out the was, serving spoons snatch out your hand while Trying to put food on the plate. For the 9 nights we were there I lived on pancakes couscous rice and salads, my husband was on cold calf or lamb and couscous, mash potatoes for 1 meal. We spent more time on the toilet than anywhere.
The toilet in lobby bar and poolside, was like walking into a paddling pool. You don't know if it was just clean water or someone used it instead of toilet roll.
At the pool which there are 5, that was awful, as you move off your sunbed or chair, people where trying to take them, even with your Towels on them.
There was a small child that dirted their swimming trunks, his mum sat him in the outdoor shower over the drain, while she washed his trunks out, then with her feet pushed what he had done down the drain. People's faces were a picture while watching that.
You get looked after well by the waiters and bar people once you tip. When talking to them all you get is, I like the English, I like the English in the hotel.
This hotel is definitely a NO NO for english people.
