The Houda Yasmine Hammamet hotel is often applauded for its attentive and warm service, though encounters with rude staff have marred the experience for some guests. While the vibrant atmosphere and lively entertainment are a draw, numerous travelers are left wanting when it comes to value, pointing to substandard food and unexpected costs. Amenities, including the hotel's clean pools, are appreciated albeit overshadowed by the disappointing state of the rooms, which are frequently criticized for their lack of cleanliness and need for maintenance.

Would say more a 3 star but saying that after the reviews previously read do not agree with all the comments made. The reception were very helpful we had a problem with our room on the first night and they moved us next day to a pool view room with no issues, all staff we found very friendly especially the animation team who were brilliant, the food was OK the usual all inclusive buffet there was always something to eat had a few evenings that we went out to eat in restaurants as the food is so cheap to eat out you could do that every night if you wanted to if you didn't fancy what was on offer. Rooms were a bit dated and could do with a makeover but OK had what you needed in them but could improve on the cleaning a bit in room felt this let them down a bit especially the towel situation. The bar ran out of soft drinks on occasions there was always bottles of cold water available bit disappointed with spirits but bought our own in duty free so used that, beer was OK and wine not too bad. Pool and outside areas kept clean and tidy overall had a great time

So me and my partner stayed at Houda Yasmine hotel from 03/03 to 10/03 and we had an amazing time! We met some fantastic people both who work there and guests. Would recommend to anyone, place is very modern and clean! Staff are friendly and always go the extra mile. On our last day they decorated to bed and sent fruit up to our room, we were flying at 5:30AM and they offered to arrange for someone to make us breakfast, never had such a good service. Special shout out to Mohamed(reception), Momo and Marco(Animation). Entertainment was fantastic getting everyone involved, made every evening fun! Food was nice and good variety. Bar area open all the time and good variety of drinks included in all inclusive, not just your standard wine and beer. All in all we agree that this was the nicest hotel we’ve stayed at and will look forward to coming back in the summer when it’s a bit warmer and seeing everyone again! :)

Just got back from staying a few good days in Hammanet. There are many many hotels on this road however this hotel has its pro’s and cons.
Pro’s:
1. Friendly staff
2. Entertainment

Cons:
1. Food is very bland and tasteless. There is lots of food though to pick from
2. Desserts are quite stale
3. Room not properly cleaned everyday.
4. Favouritism to certain groups of customers - mainly the Arabic.
5. The private beach is actually deserted and dirty 11 months. Only cleaned once a year for Ramadan

This hotel has a few people that linked to the hotel that really force you to the buy their services. For example there is a lady that forces you to do the massage, a man that forces you to do the camel ride. Just be firm and ignore them.

The hotel is in a nice walking distance to the few shops. Yes there are a handful of shops but they make it out as if there is loads.

Some of the male staff prey on young females or solo travellers to pimp them off. Be careful. The lift continues to break down so it’s not a hotel for disabled customers. There are better hotels around but just be warned when you visit

Day 1 . We arrived in the hotel lobby at 11.30pm smooth journey until now we was met in reception of the hotel by a gentlemen who gave us our 2 room numbers and keys we took our cases up and tryed to open the door to the first room this did not work so tryed the second room this worked but was not cleaned a swift return to reception and he replied ile get you another room he then proceed to attend the rooms with us of which he could also not open then he called security who also could not open by now 1.15am 4 tired children he returned to reception 40min later he called us to the desk I have this sorted now he said and gave us 2 more sets of room keys we then went up opened the first for yes a cleanish ish room minus a fridge tv control and a broken window and terrible bathroom but beds so we settled the kids and went on to open our room great we thought as I put the card to the door and it opened but was then greeted by a guy In his boxers smoking a cigarette and a women in the bed I promptly left to reception who then took us back up saying I have another room for you to be taken to the same room which he opened and threw the man out who turned out to be animation team member and a holiday maker he then said ile make beds and you will be fine we refused and waited another 1 hour to get another room .

Day 2 . We woke up went for breakfast to be greeted by cockroaches running around the floor and flys everywhere all over food and zero fly control .
Late in the afternoon we had lunch which was when we realised we would eat here no more and chose to eat out people were picking up the serving spoons to taste food off of it before returning it to the food ,people were pushing shoving and it was an awful experience all while hotel members done nothing and watched on

The pool had lights broken off walls hanging on cables into the pool area
Tiles were missing causing our daughter and son among many others to cut there feet and fingers .

The staff at the hotel minus reception tryed really hard to make it pleasant but was impossible with the run down hotel and poor facilities along with the slops called food .

The gym advertised was non existent the entertainment was the same every night including the day which entailed the port animation team and the repetitive cd they played each day .

My son aged 14 was pushed and the balls removed from the pool table by a French adult who was allowed to get drunk all day and still be served knowing he was in a state which then caused a big row between my partner and him before calling me to become involved and staff having to break it up and remove him .

All inclusive we had no towels in rooms for 2 children until 4 days before the end of our holiday although asking each day and explaining there is 6 of us not 4 . We had to actually purchase towels from the shop to allow them to have there own .

We spent a lot of money eating out most nights and lunch times which is not what you go all inclusive for

Dated and really not worth a visit

Honda Yasmin hotel - fake review and not 4 stars.

This hotel was very disappointing from the night we arrive and for so many on arrival. The surrounding hotel was old and unkept. Chipped walls and half repaired walls. The room furnitures had seen its better days, the wooden chairs and table fallen apart with cracks and worn paint.
The bathroom was immediately dispointing as it was unkept, bath corrison, discoloured and dirty due to age. Floor was not wiped clean.

The best things in the room was the comfortable bed and hot shower. However we had to change our room same night as we could not bear to use the bath, but even then we didn't see much difference.

As we had arrived late the cold food prepared looked like cat food with cabbage and cheese.

Every meal in the hotel was the same and catered for local cuisine only. Limited options and many people were forced to go out to eat even from the Tunisian restaurant that served excellent choices and quality food.
All inclusive service was poor and on the low budget despite seeing people unhappy. We saw child go hungry because the food did not cater for children.

Many visitors were grateful to be local to the Marina town centre as we could walk to see the other hotels and restaurants to compare. We could see that the other 4 stars were truly as reflected on the brochure. This hotel is not 4 stars, only one working lift. Limited drinks selection and very diluted as we are moderate drinkers.

We had no kettles or iron in the room, soaps were not replenished and bathroom not cleaned even after we requested it.

Although staff were polite, towards the end of your stay there are more helpful.

Indoor pool very small, open at 9am and closes at 5pm. Good thing is, it is a heated pool, though we had limited use as it was very small and closed early.
No gym, we never checked this as we assume a 4 star hotel will have one. We selected this hotel as we believed the spa or steam room will come as standard, but it appears one need to pay to use spa or steam room in Tunisia.
The animation team tried to keep people entertained, which may be the saving grace of the establishment. The bar and kitchen staff were polite and helpful.
We had to explore getting our own kettle as there was no where to get hot water after 11pm. We also had to get our own iron as there is no iron provided by the hotel.

We went to Houda Yasmine Hammamet in August 2020, it was such a terrible experience. Although the times were tough with the pandemic and everything, the hotel didnt respect any measure of hygiene or security. No masks or gloves for the emloyees (even the ones in direct contact with clients and food) plus, the hotel was at FULL capacity.
When we arrived the rooms weren't cleaned beforehand. Used tissues and razors were everywhere. The food wasn't that good either. We booked for 3 days in all inclusive soft but ended up leaving the second day!
Personal pov: worst hotel i've ever been to

Firstly I want to say that this hotel has a lot of negative press on this site and other sites so I want to write an honest review of my full experience from staff members to food down to the rooms.
Rooms:
The hotel itself is outdated and could do with a full makeover however having said that in my room everything was working well. One of the days there was an issue with the taps and I reached out to the front desk, within in 5 minutes the maintenance guy was at my room and had resolved the issue. There was a fridge, TV and working AC.
Food:
There is a good variety of foods, everyday the kitchen staff cook new dishes which are catered to everyone. There make Pizza everyday, made to order pastas and Tunisian food. They also offer made to order dishes for your own preference. I'm not sure many people are aware this.
Management & staff:
Personally I have been to many expensive and popular hotels however the staff haven’t always been great. However in this hotel I found every single member of staff always had a smile on and were always on hand to help. Some of these individuals were Karim, Fouad, Issam, so lovely and willing to help. I want to now focus on the management Hamed – He was amazing. He really cared about the hotel and was going above and beyond to ensure our stay is pleasant. He asked us our opinion on how to improve their service and applied it the next day. Hamed is a great asset to this hotel so I would personally like to thank Hamed for everything you done for us throughout our stay. Hamed was excellent in ensuring our room was cleaned, food was given on time and checkout time was adjusted to help ease the remainder of our stay. Thank you Hamed and the rest of the staff.

Don’t know where to start to be honest but I’m going to try !!! So to start off the staff at reception were welcoming and pleasant provided a drink straight away and showed us to dining area to have lunch then we were assigned our rooms I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room and the cleaners that were working our floor honestly they hardly did anything we kept it tidy ourselves beds were not even made up properly the shower curtain most definitely had bodily fluids on it and I had to shower with my flip flops on because I was getting in bare foot at all, our toilet seat was broken I reported this and then it was fixed the floor in the bathroom and hotel room was not cleaned once within the whole 7 days…

The food was very repetitive but I was happy with food most days as the Tunisian food has foods I’m used to eating being Caribbean but I totally understand it’s not to every ones taste it was pretty much fish beef and chicken and I noticed things were definitely being reused for lunch and dinner, cold potato from dinner served with breakfast… We ate outside a few times for something different.

The entertainment was really varied and I was grateful they actually had things set up as I know sometimes off season hotels sometimes don’t but honestly the animation team are lovely until they are not becoming pushy and forceful to take part in games or charging us different prices to play the same game of bingo as others didn’t like that at all. And a certain member of the team who has been named enough needs to focus on the job and not the ladies let the other animation team shine sometimes it’s not a one man show.

The excursion booked through the hotel was TRASH i paid £35 each adult to sit on the back of a quad and not get any experience of driving it on sand dunes as advertised by Samir because we was driven around the actual area on the public roads and I don’t have a license so I had to be a passenger so I paid that money for nothing.

The staff in dining room were so friendly but in particular I think his name was Khabil he was great honestly looked after us so well when he was on shift and decorated the table beautifully for us on our date night evenings.

And the barman Nabil was wonderful so polite and attentive.

Overall not a bad stay but I didn’t like paying for a game when I’m all inclusive why are we paying to partake in the hotel’s entertainment and the club attached to the hotel club Jamaica was a mockery nothing Jamaican about it trust me I’m Jamaican and then the overpriced drinks when it’s part of the hotel 🤦🏾‍♀️ anyway that’s my review best part was all the wonderful friends me and my hubby made.

Hi, I have the same issue: both the phone number (no answer/not available) and the email address on the website (not valid) get you nowhere... so frustrating! I contacted my travel agent, who did get in touch with the hotel. Please do the same if you booked through a travel agent.
