Detailed Reviews
I booked on very short notice (less then 24h) and arrive late at night, which was both perfectly accommodated, I was met by the manager when I arrived. The whole place is in perfect condition and a beautiful setup with the pool and open air (shaded) breakfast area at the center. The villas are with private balcony, a nice view at the ocean (sunset side), and some even with private pool. There is free WiFi and good reception everywhere, however the internet on the island in general is not very fast (not the fault of the hotel). I really enjoyed the daily breakfast outside with a view. Laundry service is provided at fair prices. Arkasa is a nice location with restaurants and bars in walking distance and just a 15min drive to the surf spots. Free parking is available at the property. I really enjoyed my stay and actually extended my stay, which was also no problem.
I can only recommend Arkasa Palace and would stay there again when returning to Karpathos.

We spent one week as a family of 4 in a newly renovated & stylish 2-bedroom apartment at Arkasa Palace Boutique Villas with kitchenette and loved every moment of it. Our apartment was spacious, very clean and provided a nice ocean view and terrace. The place is well kept!
The breakfast was really yummy! Arkasa Palace also has a nice clean pool, which we did not use, as we spent our time at the many beautiful beaches nearby - one of the closest is Agios Nikolaus. The owners are very friendly and gave us a warm
welcome. They even helped organizing a nice birthday breakfast with cake & decoration for our little one 😊
Maria and Team are a lovely bunch of people and we can highly recommend this beautiful place for anyone staying in Karpathos. Thanks Maria for all the great service - we will sure be back! 😎

We spent one week in the private Aphrodite villa with private pool. Maria, her Mom and the entire team were incredible. We were completely relaxed right from the beginning. The hotel has an outstanding service, the sea view is incredible. The whole place is so cozy and heart worming. Maria has created a wonderful stylish environment. The villa itself is offering a private atmosphere and we really enjoyed the little pool very much. The room, the terrace and the pool were cleaned every day it is in real proper condition. Being on holiday you can ignore a cracked mirror (will be fixed soon).
The room provides a small kitchen, which we just have used in the morning to prepare a cup of coffee. Enjoying a cup of coffee in the early morning on the terrace with the unbelievable Aegean Sea view is just unreal. Maria is an incredible host and always there for her guests.
The beautiful St. Nicolas beach is just a ten minutes walk from there. Wonderful Restaurants could be reached in just five minutes. Our favorite one was the Kipos Taverne, a cozy little restaurant with a well dedicate Team and an excellent chef, providing authentic greek cuisine.
We have booked the accommodation including breakfast. The breakfast was a daily feast. Variations of eggs (omelette, cooked or fried) have been offered as well as fresh fruits, traditional Greek yogurt with honey and fruits, veggies from the family garden and bread with homemade marmalade. Pancakes where available too.
It was just amazing.

TL;DR: We were given a different room with different amenities than what we had prepaid for without notice, the room we were given had problems (broken sink) and the location is not any different than many other, way cheaper and friendlier alternatives in the area.
Booked a room over phone + viber, and paid the complete amount upfront as agreed. When we arrived, the receptionist took us to a different room, hoping that this would go unnoticed.
After questioning the lack of specific amenities, only then she proceeded to inform us that the room we booked had been given to some other people who arrived earlier that day, and we were "upgraded" to a different room. There was no such notice, let alone agreement, before we arrived. We argued that we did not accept this change, at which point she tried to convince us that the room is better and worth it, and that she couldn't switch us back because the other people had just been given our booked room.
On top of the lack of specific amenities, the "upgraded" room had a broken sink, and when we complained about it we were told that "thanks for telling us, we couldn't know, we don't live there". Not sure if she was just being naive or claimed to not inspect their own rooms to ensure a level of quality.
In the end they refunded us, being very unprofessional and sarcastic in the process. Fortunately, we managed to find a place with similar level of amenities, with better location and with a price 5 times lower, within the next 15 minutes, for the same day.

We were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. As we stayed at the Aphrodite villa which is considered prime accommodation, we expected more for our money.
After 3 days our towels were still not replaced and one of the towels once had yellow stains on. We got clean sheets only once during our stay.
The swimming pool pump was broken with the lid and filter flouting in the pool and was only cleaned the day before we left. The terrace was cleaned only once during our stay of 7 days.
The dishes and glasses were washed and left wet on the drip tray and the coffee machine was never cleaned and the dirt bins were not cleaned regularly. Our room was sometimes cleaned between 15h00 and 16h00. You only receive 2 coffee pods on the day of arrival and have to buy additional pods for making coffee.
The hot breakfast was disappointing. Ons day omelettes with the same filling every time and the next day boiled or fried eggs.
The building needs attention. The one blind at the breakfast area was broken and it was quite windy during breakfast.
Our friends had a smart TV in there room and could watch Netflix and we had an old TV with news in English and other languages
Maria and her family are very friendly but she was more concerned with organising her brother’s wedding and went to Athens to buy a dress the last day of our stay. Her parents helped out when she was not there.

Our first vacation in three years, first time together without the kids, we had high expectations.
We arrived on april 29 and there she was, Maria from Arkasa Palace, she gave us the most warm welcome! The boutique hotel was beautiful with a warm, modern and luxurious feel to it.
Breakfast was a small party every morning with delicious products and home made items.
Throughout our stay Maria was always there to answer questions, talk about our day trips and give ideas about the ‘must sees’ and provide the guests with the best of service.
The Island of Karpathos is full of beauty, friendly people and amazing food.
Our expectations have been exceeded, in spite of the weather conditions.
Highly recommended by us for a peaceful, relaxed vacation with a touch of magic, both Karpathos and Arkasa Palace!

I visited this boutique hotel last week for five days!! The breakfast was delicious and unlimited!!! We had a private pool and the room was exceptionally clean. The hosts are vaccinated as well :) The hotel is easily accessible.
Maria, the hostess was very sweet and helpful. She guided us and told us what to visit on the island. We also rented a car in perfect condition from the hotel. The view is exceptional, the area is quiet, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the Greek sunset. There are restaurants, bars, and beaches within walking distance.

Yes there are very good tavernas.
Ciao, la spiaggia più vicina è agios Nikolaos, a piedi ci arrivi però è una bella camminata da fare tutti i giorni, anche perché il ritorno è in salita. Il mezzo di trasporto per girare l’isola è sicuramente consigliato!
