It is awesome to awake in the middle of the rainforest, hearing exotic birds sing from your bed. The cabin is comfortable and everything you need is there. Dianne is a wonderful welcoming hostess and the breakfast is luxurious.

So nice and quiet, it truly is set in a rainforest. Very peaceful getting out of the city and all the attractions are still only 10 mins drive away. Very well appointed cabins in a Balinese style which made for a truly unique stay. The best part was the assistance provided by Alison, who looked after us so well and... More

Dianne's BnB offers you a unique accommodation experience, nestled in the rainforest in Cairns, comfortable, bungalow huts open up and let you take in the surrounding dense rainforest. A short drive to Darwin center/pier. Delicious breakfasts, warm hospitality and all the work put into providing this experience are greatly appreciated! Strongly recommended.

Peaceful and relaxing accommodation set amongst the rainforest! The bungalow was perfect- waking up to the birds. Pool was nice and refreshing after a day to the babinda boulders. Allison was a lovely host, and made great poached eggs! Perfect stay, rental car a must!

It was our first stay in Cairns and we had an absolutely unforgettable and lovely time at the Reef and Rainforest B&B. Dianne has been a huge support by having booked a diving trip to the Great Barrier Reef as well as her companion Allison has prepared a wonderful breakfast including a food platter which was adorable - despite that... My husband and I stayed at this wonderful B&B for 4 nights. The pavilion was very private and the opportunity to wake up in the morning and look out at the rainforest - superb. In fact, the B&B was so nice that 3 of the 4 nights we elected to get a take away dinner and eat on the private... More

This find was an absolute gem! The location is idyllic and the surrounds create a screen of privacy and relaxation. The room was clean and well stocked, and the air conditioning works perfectly. The room is enhanced by opening up on to an open deck and the excellently maintained pool. The manager, Dianne, was pleasant, attentive and respectful of our... More

We had an excellent 5 day stay in one of the Pavilions. The room is unique with two sides looking out into the rainforest. The quality of finishes is superb. The timber frame building fitted out with the best fixtures and fittings and the highest quality linen and towels. Very private and only disturbed by the dawn chorus from the... More

“There are only 2 to choose from, and likely almost identical. Parakeets and other birds may keep you awake at times, and the tin roof is a drumskin when it rains, but that is part of the experience. Cooking limited to what you can heat up in the microwave, or the grill down on the deck by the pool. Oh, and buy your beer and wine in town.”
