Definitely one of my favourite hostels. Great set up with good places to hang out, a pool, big bath room, spacious rooms. Great design all over the place and a nice kitchen. Only stayed for a night, but wished I could stay more. If you have the time book at least two nights. Staff is super nice and helpful! Make...

It seems like the people here don't care about their customers. I arrived late because of delays with colombian busses, knocked on the door, called many times but nobody opened the door. The only option was to look for another hostel, I finally found one after an hour walking and searching at night. The next morning they really didn't care...

A good example of how to keep up a good Lonely Planet reputation. Peaceful, very nice common areas with wide landscapes from the terrazza. Three (!) kitchens available for you to cook; coffee, tea and mangos at your disposal all the time. Very green and well maintained garden, with little swimming pool. Laundry facility for 10000COP. Our room (80000COP) was...

This hostel is amazing. A great old building, beautifully restored, everything about this place is recommended. Friendly staff, comfiest dorms, free coffee and fruit, two kitchens with everything, a gorgeous terrace to chill on with stunning views, two blocks from the main square, a lovely pool, lots of hangout areas and they provided us with lots of info too. A...

Welcoming and very helpful hosts who were made sure you were comfortable and happy. My very spacious room, which was a little dark, had its own outdoor bathroom complete with tree in the centre of it. Plus a small outdoor kitchen and fridge which was very handy for preparing my own breakfast of fresh tropical fruit and yoghurt. About a...

The beds slept very well! The don't look it.. they have a nice small pool and common area with an awesome view. We slept in the dorm for 32000. Which is a bit expensive..we think. But it is a very nice place to chill!

I arrived with my travel buddy Frances after a winding bus journey. The bus was cramped, but Barichara was worth it. This is a town that takes pride in itself, Tinto Hostel is no different. Javier, the owner, has been involved in the hostel business for a decade and he has gotten his formula right. The whole environment - the...

Tinto Hostel is a beautiful place that, much like Barichara, takes you back in time in a stylish way. The staff is friendly and well informed, the Hostel is pristine, has an incredible view of the town despite being in the middle of it and the rooms are one the most beautiful places you'll ever sleep in. They have a...

Nice grounds, charming rooms and two (!) clean kitchens. Strong Wifi. Relax in a hammock, swim in the pool or enjoy the view from the terrace. Barichara is a small town, you can reach everything by foot. Rooms facing the street are noisy.

This has got to be one of our favorites places we have stayed in Latin America. Barichara is already such an amazing place to visit and the hostel just topped off our stay. It is in a beautiful location, clean facilities and at a good price. It has a relaxing atmosphere and the staff is so helpful. Javier was a...
