Super friendly staff! Front desk staff made me feel like I was the only one in the Hotel! The location is fantastic, next to small waterfall that runs just outside the hotel. You can hear the water when you sit in the terrace and just relaaaax.

We found our stay here very comfortable and relaxing. The staff are very willing help in anyway they can. The room was clean, well presented and comfortable but a little out dated. No wifi in the rooms and even in the lounge area it was very slow. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Overall it was a comfortable stay.

Very pleasant, friendly hotel in an excellent location in the Black Forest. Staff were very courteous and welcoming. We arrived late but despite this were able to book a meal in the restaurant. The room was south facing and had a balcony to enjoy the views. The room was clean and will excellent facilities including a minibar. We were unable...

We are from Australia and my husband worked in in this wonderful hotel in about 1977. We are wondering whether Herr and Frau Mangler are still the owners and if they would remember a young man from Australia called Paul. He lived in a tiny cottage down the road from the hotel with a young Turkish man called Selahatin. We...

You notice from everything that this is an old hotel. Service is nice, but if you want anything else which is not on the menu, like tap water, then you pay! Kids wanted water, but was not in our full pension of 340 Euro per night, so we had to pay extra! The room is nice, but from everything you...

Dear guest, hank you very much for valuating your stay in the Bergvital Hotel Mangler. We are sorry, that we could not measure up your’s expectations. In fact our hotel has already a long tradition and it is unavoidable that you can see traces of this at the furniture and the other interior. We do our best to keep on...

I spend a three-night mini-break at the Mangler with my husband, eight-year-old son and five-month-old baby in January 2015. It was quite obvious to us from the start that the place had at some point been converted from a regular Black Forrest guest house into a four-star “Sports Hotel”. Reception is downstairs from the entrance, sports components are dispersed throughout...

We were in an apartment just round the corner and so popped in on our first night for dinner. Lovely cozy restaurant that had a very homely feel. Food was awesome. I had pork medallions in peppercorn sauce and my husband had a schnitzel with a sauce. Both were lovely and the staff were very friendly.

First, what's not good ? Well, the bathroom was small, you can't fit 2 persons in it. But this hotel is - like most of Germany by the way - spotlessly clean. Staff is very friendly. Food is very refined but do not expect Italian cooking. It is and remains German food : good quality, straightforward but not exactly good...

My wife and I (a 60+ couple) stayed three nights in the Wellness Hotel Mangler in the southern Black Forest in Germany after a business trip to Geneva. The choice could not have been better - thanks to my dear wife. The Mangler Hotel is an excellent hotel nicely situated on the edge of the Todtnauberg village. We had a...

We stayed several times in Hotel Mangler and our last trip was as good as ever. The staff was very friendly and gave us the feeling we were really welcome. Our room overlooked the beautiful valley, covered in a thick layer of snow. We enjoyed the newly refurbished room very much as well as the wellness food in the restaurant....
