I stayed at Panormo Beach Hotel for one night as I moved between villas. The hotel is well placed in the heart of the village, being just a short walk from shops, tavernas and beaches. I had a double standard room with a sea view. The room was a very good size and the bathroom was large, and everything spotlessly clean. . Great private balcony which had a table and three chairs. TV with multiple channels, great air con and wifi. The check in and check out was really friendly and efficient too. Breakfast included in the price but I opted for a lazier morning and then a walk into the village for brunch (at the lovely Vinzi Cafe). Parking is free and just opposite the hotel entrance. My stay was not long enough to use all the facilities but plenty of other residents were making great use of the garden and pool. . Highly recommendEd and would definitely return.…
It was a real pleasure staying here for a week. It felt like these guys were waiting for us specifically, to meet us cordially and make us happy 😊. The manager and the personnel seem to enjoy what they are doing and love their guests! Clean rooms, nice service, good location, and all that - for a really reasonable price.
We stayed at Panormo Beach Hotel for 6 nights in September. We booked hotel directly from Hotel website; it was cheaper than from Booking.com. We stayed in sea view room. Jorge checked us in very quickly, showed the room and always helped with anything we needed. The hotel has an excellent location: beach is 5 min walking distance, free guest’s hotel parking, close to restorants, travel agencies to book a tour in Crete or Santorini. Panormo is a small quite village; only 30 min driving to Rethymno and about 1 1/2h from Chaina. The room we stayed was on a third floor (the hotel had an elevator) with a big private balcony where you can watch sunset. The room had 2 comfy beds put together, very big wardrobe closet. Bathroom was pretty big. The room had no clock, tea kettle. Very basic but very comfortable. Breakfast was served 7-10 am and included tea, coffee, cereal, cheeses, breads, cakes, omelets, sausages, fruits. We highly recommend Panormo Beach hotel.…
We chose Panormos and this hotel as it was within an easy hours drive from Heraklion airport on our way back from the south coast of Crete. The village/ town appears to be on the way up with a character restoration of its centre and at least two small sandy beaches with a gentle slope, ideal fro children and adults alike. The hotel is modern with extremely comfortable beds. Our room faced inwards onto the medium sized swimming pool surrounded by grass and had sliding doors onto a nice terrace with table and chairs. Air conditioner struggled to keep the room cool and there was no kettle (until we asked for one) but a fridge and hair dryer are provided and the WiFi worked well. THe welcome and service was warm, sincere and very helpful. The included breakfast was adequate. Although our booking stated that all taxes were included, we were charged an extra 1 Euro 50 tax for each night we stayed. Recommended for a clean, comfortable low price stay but perhaps more local character could be found in a local alternative.…
very clean . sheets and towels changed daily.the problem is it caters for nationalities other than brits.the breakfast is very basic for brits.not even a toaster.boiled eggs fruit and cereal.ham cheese and bread.the coffee machine was good though.the lounge bar and roof terrace bar which are highlighted in hotel brochure were not even open.the good thing about the hotel is that its fine for a base to explore the beaches and restaurants all nearby.
My family spent great week in Greece and at the end our hotel charged 50€ from us. They have little tables with three legs covered by the glass in the lobby. There are two chairs near each table and its rotates. Also tables was glass covered and had flowerpot on it. The situation: I sat on the chair and have just stated rotation - table felt down and glass with flowerpot broke. It accidentally. The manager of the hotel said it was very expensive flower =D. After some time we had noticed that other tables was broken in the same place and there was no glass covering. We was disappointed of the such holidays ending. Hope you would not trap in such situation and spend you time with fun.
I’m really satisfied by this hotel, the room was cute, breakfast was good, staff was helpful and it was really quiet at night. Not far from Rethymno, which was the city centre I guess. Took one bus. Only thing I could complain about is the pool area which wasn’t my favourite part. Everything else was fine.

We will start the review by expressing how amazing all the staff were at Panormo, they were all so friendly and lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. Irene a lady on reception was especially lovely, she made us feel so comfortable and welcome. The hotel it’s self however I expected slightly more from, we asked for a double room and got two single beds pushed together, can’t say it was comfortable waking up between the crack at night. There was no kettle in the room but the staff were more than happy to provide one when I asked. The breakfast was very basic... I feel a toaster would not have gone a miss and the coffee machine we avoided after the first day. I have to say the room was very clean and cleaned thoroughly each day if we wanted it. Overall it was a pleasant stay made by the staff, the hotel needs a few improvements but nothing that is so severe we would not go back. …
We spent a very good time in this place. The room was very clean - it was cleaned everyday and they were also changing towels. The rooms are modern and well furnished. Plenty of space and storage for all our luggage. The beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is a good size and has been very well looked after so they look new. The staff are very helpful and willing to go that extra mile. The only thing that we didn't like and could most certainly be improved is the breakfast.
