My husband and I stayed at Sol Mogan Suites in January for four weeks. We were in a one bedroom ground floor apartment with Terrace which had a patio area and led onto the Astro turf garden around the beautiful pool, super comfy sun loungers, surrounded by mountains. We had a fabulous stay and used the barbecue, bikes and gym a lot! The apartment was adequate for what we wanted though the bathroom was very small. They are situated in a residential village approx 40 mins walk down a back hilly road to Puerto Mogan and Beach which we liked. We did hire a car for three weeks and explored the island, check out costs as we would recommend renting from airport on arrival. Return taxi transfer is around €100, car hire probably cheaper than that for one week. There is a shop 5 minutes walk away for fresh bread, cheese, fruit, veg and essentials which was well stocked and the staff really nice.
Guillermo the Manager at Sol Mogan was a superb host, anything you wanted or needed he was very accommodating. Lovely touches of wine, and gift of honey were really personal and thoughtful. The cleaning/maintenance staff were also very friendly and changed towels 3 times a week, emptied bins, swept and mopped floors and changed bedding weekly. We are returning next year for six weeks!! 🤗🤗

We had a one bedroom apartment. I would describe it as compact, but everything was as described. Don’t be misled by the use of a wide angle lens for the photos! That said, it was clean, towels were changed regularly, bins emptied etc. The pool area was very good, 10 metre pool, suitable for swimming and dipping to cool off. Nice garden surrounding the pool with fruit trees that you were allowed to take the fruit from. Staff were extremely polite and pleasant and made you feel welcome. I would like to have seen more cutlery and crockery etc in the kitchen, which was pretty basic. Parking was first come first served out on the street, but if that was full, it was about 200 metres down the hill to park, which might challenge people with mobility issues.

Just returned from a wonderfully relaxing week in the sunshine staying at (Adults Only) Sol Mogan Suites. The property was well maintained, secure access (key fob at main gate) & the room (B1) beautifully clean with a nicely sized terrace providing 2 sun beds, 2 easy chairs & coffee table & a small dining table & chairs. The apartment contained everything you need for a perfect stay, including a full sized fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, pans, juicer, iron & board & 2 TV's (not that we watched it). Staff were kind, helpful & friendly; thank you to all but most especially Guillermo who was always available when needed.
The simple breakfast each day was a lovely touch; bread, jam, butter, cooked meat, fruit, yogurt, eggs, warm milk & coffee which was very good & I'm not usually a coffee drinker! Unlike other contributors we were more than happy with the arrival time 8:30/9am - we were after all on holiday & therefore enjoyed relaxing mornings with slightly later starts than normal!
There's a lift for those who need it (& stairs) down to the beautifully presented garden with a pool big enough to swim in or take a cooling dip. The garden's are peaceful, surrounded by fruit trees, containing easily accessible toilets (M & F) & an outside shower. There's also a gym & exercise equipment on the same floor.
Sol Mogan Suites is situated in a rural location, a little way out of Puerto de Mogan, approximately a 30 minute stroll along a picturesque, primarily smooth route (some paved some not) alternatively the No 84 bus or taxi's are readily available to & from P.M.
The market on Friday is a must. It runs the length of P.M. & is definitely worth a visit. There are plenty of bars, restaurants & shops along with clean, accessible bus station/services. All buses accept cash & give change. The No 91 bus makes the journey to & from Las Palmas Airport very easy for those looking for an alternative to a taxi. The beach is very popular, sandy surrounded by rocks with beautiful clear blue, calm water. There are plenty of beach beds & a water-sports section.
The weather was good during our stay (Feb 5th-12th) & was such a lovely break from the British rain!! Our first visit to Gran Canaria which I'm sure won't be our last.
We loved our stay & would highly recommend Sol Mogan Suites.

We went for 3 weeks and wished it had been longer. Next year it will be. The facilities are superb (apartment, gym, pool, grounds, washing machine, bikes). The location (2 miles from the beach) may seem a trifle remote but it is a pleasant walk to and from the town of puerto mogan and we managed this comfortably almost every day. If you are not up to walking, the hourly bus is 1 euro 40 per person each way or the taxi ride is 6-7 euro. We don't bother with a hire car when we are in GC. The breakfast tray is delivered to your room every day and generally provides enough food for lunch as well!. Above all, Guillermo and Jonathan provide a superb service. If you find the apartment is missing anything, just ask. Nothing is too much trouble. It really is service with a smile.

We first tried to book this holiday in April 2020 but Covid-19 came along so it had to be rearranged. It was rearranged for September 2021 but further Covid-19 travel restrictions came along and again it had to be rearranged. So our arrival here in April 2022 was third time lucky. We had no trouble with the hotel when making these repeated changes. When things go wrong and are sorted out smoothly it is good. (We did have real problems with the airlines – but that is another story!)
We travelled as two couples and stayed at the hotel for 7 nights. We were in a ground floor terrace suite. The room had everything that we needed for our time at the hotel. The room service was good. We had arranged our car hire through the manager – Guillermo. Everything went very smoothly. We arrived at the hotel very late in the evening. However, this was not a problem as we had been supplied full instructions on how to get into the building and our rooms.
Our plans for this holiday were to just take it easy and relax. So we did short day trips away from the hotel using the car. In the evenings we caught the number 84 bus (the bus stop was a short walk away) to either Puerto de Mogán or Mogán (the fare was only €1.40 per person per ride) to eat out. The return taxi from Puerto de Mogán only cost about €6 to €7 (not much different from the bus fare as there were four of us). The walk, along the quiet old road, into Puerto de Mogán is also not too difficult as it is downhill most of the way.
The hotel had everything we wanted whilst there. The building, grounds and pool were well maintained. There were plenty of sun loungers and other poolside equipment available. Extra towels were available on request. The grounds were quiet. We passed some of our time looking at oddities in the hills around the hotel.
We had been pre warned about the limited parking at the hotel. But we always found a space not too far away.
All in all we had a great time at this hotel and in this part of Gran Canaria. We would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here in mid February and it was great. A lovely oasis away from the hustle and bustle. We were there during the Calima and unfortunately some of the fruit trees around the pool were badly damaged in the high winds but hopefully they have recovered now. We loved the gym and used it every day and the pool area was very tranquil. It's a good 40 minute walk down into the harbour but we didn't mind this and even did it in the dark with a torch a few times. Taxis are plentiful though and there is also a bus that takes you down and back and runs every hour or so. We also visited Mogan Village a couple of times and again the bus stop is only a 5 minute walk away and doesn't take long. There is also a nice bakery up the main road hill from the apartment. It's about a 20 minute walk but worth checking out and very reasonably priced. We stayed in an apartment with a huge wraparound terrace which was brilliant as the terrace got the sun for most of the day so we spent a lot of time up there relaxing. Guillermo was the perfect host and explained everything in lots of detail when we first checked in and was there if we needed anything or if not he was available on WhatsApp. Good value for money and we would definitely recommend if you are looking for peace and relaxation.

We were guests at the Sol Mogan Suites as a couple from December 25th to 31st, 2023.
Not far from the port of Mogan is this very well-kept complex with incredibly clean apartments that do not lack any comfort.
We deliberately decided to stay away from the tourist hotspots because we had access to a car that we could park nearby for free and safely. It is at least 30 minutes on foot to the next town. The hotel is very well connected by car and really leaves nothing to be desired if you like it quiet. Breakfast is served on a small table in front of the apartment in the morning and can be enjoyed in peace in the apartment or on the balcony.
The reception is not manned around the clock, but the service can be reached by phone around the clock and is really absolutely friendly and helpful. We felt at home.
A clear recommendation if you are traveling without children, are mobile and do not want the nearest restaurant and supermarket right on your doorstep!

The flats are located in a very quiet area and are surrounded by nature, still many beaches are less than 10 min away drive, just like the shopping center of puerto rico where you have restaurants and shops. A bus stop is down the street.
The flats are clean and have evrything you need so you can cook your own dishes - beds are comfortable. There is also a washing machine in the building if needed.
I did not use the swimming pool but you can also relax in the beautiful garden.
I of course have to mention the kindness if the host, who makes everyone feel like home and is always reachable if you have questions or need anything.
It was for me the perfect place to stay and I will definetely go back!

This was our 1st time at the Sol Mogan Suites and we will definitely return. We felt so relaxed during our stay we stayed in a terrace room with direct access to the garden and pool which was great.
The garden and pool was kept immaculate and had trees growing lots of different fruit. Lots of different birds visiting too.
The location is around a 30/40 minute walk to reach the centre of Puerto Mogan we walked each night and got a taxi back. The apartments provide bikes free of charge which we used a couple of times to get things from the supermarket. Safes in the apartment are free to use also. There is a gym and sauna and also laundry facilities.
Our breakfast got delivered to our room each morning. This consisted of crusty rolls, cold meat, eggs, orange or apple juice, yogurts, fresh fruit, jam & butter, jug of coffee & milk more than enough to start your day!
Apartment was cleaned 3 times during our weeks stay.
Being Adult Only made this place perfect for a get away from it all relaxing break.
Johnathan was always on hand to answer any questions and made the perfect host!
