My wife and I were reluctant to leave the country during the pandemic but decided that we desperately needed a change of surroundings. We could have stayed in the UK but were not confident that we would be any safer than in Greece, where there had been relatively few cases. The two weeks at the Cirillo Family Hotel had been booked for the best part of a year and as we had had two other holidays canceled so we were looking forward to getting away. We were not disappointed! After donning our mask at Doncaster it was a relief to arrive at the apartments and settle in. We were greeted by Pepe and shown to our room. This was an upper floor as requested and was plenty big enough for the two of us. It was well equipped and had a bath with an overhead shower. The balcony turned out to be shaded most of the day which was just what we needed after a day on the beach. The staff were most helpful from the cleaner who kept the rooms in tip-top condition to Pepe and his brother who kept us watered and fed. In fact, I would like to thank Pepe for his help in sorting various bits of paperwork out for us, relating to the Covid19. There was no Tui presents in the whole resort to assist us, so thank god for Pepe. The shops, bars, restaurants, and large beach are approximately ten minutes away and it is a relatively flat walk to all of them. Be prepared for the wind to blow off the sea in the afternoon but it's not that much of a problem. I would recommend these apartments and the resort to anyone looking for a quiet escape from a hectic world. If its loud music bars and a wild time you're after, Mastichari is not for you!

If you are after a quiet relaxing holifay stay here, i stayed here in September 2023. The hotel is around 15mins from the airport. Got to the hotel late too find the owner still on site who took me to the room. I stayed in one of the gound floor rooms facing the gardens. The rooms are spotless, large double bed and a single, however as it was a solo trip the extra bed was never used. Hot plate, kettle and fridge, are available to use. The bathroom has the usual amenities you'd expect. There is also a dining table and couch for sleeping a 4th person perhaps.
Air-conditioning and the safe do cost extra so I'd budget for these. The breakfasts are massive and perfectly sets you up for the day, the full English is phenomenal.
Overall staying here was bliss, the staff were helpful if you needed them, all the staff from the bar staff to the team of cleaning ladies were excellent.

Cirillo is a fantastic place to stay. The hotel is in a great position, well kept and has a good set of facilities. The room is cleaned daily to a high spec and our cleaner was so friendly.
Pepe and Costas are both very attentive and helpful.
I would highly recommend staying here and understand why people return each year.
Before arriving we were apprehensive about travelling with children and there not being a pool. DO NOT be put off by this. There are 2 pools within a 5 minute walk and both are great. Our favourite was the Half- time sports bar. Yanni is so friendly Luis is good but a smaller pool and the owners wife is frosty at first but does get better.
The short walk to the beach and restaurants is great for everyone and easily accessible.
Our favourite restaurants were Harama and Vios. Both worth a visit and amazing food.
If you fancy a day out you can get the bus to Kos town near the harbour and it costs 3.20 each. Well worth a trip out.

Situated five minutes walk from the beautiful beach and sea and the town. It would be silly of me to highlight the few issues with the room given the price and location of the hotel. All staff from the manager right down to the cleaner were exceptionally friendly, couldn’t do enough for you and attended to our every need. No pool at the moment but there is one planned for 2022 but the sea is so beautiful this wasn’t an issue even though our children love a pool. We will return.

We have just returned from 2 fabulous weeks staying here. We had room 9 which is one of the refurbished rooms and it was beautiful, we had a lovely balcony with a sea view. Pepe does a great job running the hotel, he works very hard, by day he has sunbeds on the beach and in the evening is in the bar serving cool cocktails and drinks along with Lyn. We were self catering and the kitchenette was well stocked with all needed, we only did breakfast in our room and ate lunch and dinner out. We had breakfast in the bar area on our last morning, the omelettes were huge and very tasty.
Mastihari is a very pretty village, the beach is long with white sand and the sea cool, although it was quite rough a couple of days. There are some lovely tavernas and restaurants, our favourites were Nostos, Mavros, Light Blue and Palitiano.
I have been to 13 Greek Islands (15 different resorts) and Cirillo Hotel and Mastihari and definitely one of the best, if not the best places I have stayed at in Greece.
We got home last night and are already looking at dates we can return next year. Cirillo, Pepe, Lyn we miss you already.

Cirillo Studios was a fantastic place to stay. Situated on the edge of Mastihari, there was a short walk to the beach, grocery stores and restaurants.Our room was immaculate and cleaned daily. The island of Kalymnos and the Aegean were visible from our balcony. We enjoyed late afternoon wine on the beautiful patio. The grounds were beautiful with carefully tended gardens. Sunbeds were available on the nearby beach for a very reasonable price. Pepe was an excellent host, patiently answering our questions, offering recommendations and serving us in the bar. We enjoyed the amazing hospitality and highly recommend Cirillo Studios!

Had a wonderful time. The location is an easy stroll from the beach, the harbour and all the restaurants in Mastachari. The room was clean and comfortable, serviced daily and all the staff were lovely. Excellent value, I would return like a shot.

Just returned 27 June after having a fantastic holiday in such a well run and well appointed Hotel, thanks to Pepe who runs the Hotel and sun beds on the beach and Costa who does a lovely breakfast. The 2 brothers give everything to make your holiday special. Rooms are nicely furnished with modern facilities. The cleaner Elena always welcomes you with a smile. Our 6th visit and will not be our last. The beach and all the Restaurants are within a 5 minute walk

We needed a hotel to stay in before our ferry to Pserimos in the morning and found this great nugget. What an awesome welcome from Pepe showed us to our rooms and had drinks ready soon after. The frosted glasses were a real treat. Made us feel totally at home.
The whole place is spotless and could not recommend enough. Will definitely use in the future.

The village and beach are chilled and the vibe extends to the hotel. Come here and you will stay in modern, super clean friendly hotel with lovely rooms and excellent service to boot. Draught beer is excellent, breakfast top notch, frappes as you expect in Greece! Sun beds on the beach for hire and a lovely, short walk to the village. Don’t hesitate to book whether independently or as we did through TUI.
