#1 of 19 hotels in Bali
Atali Grand Resort 4 stars is an elegant newly renovated hotel perfectly positioned right in the heart of Crete, in the picturesque fishing village Bali, a short walk from the 600 meter long beach "Livadi". Bali is a tourist resort set by a big bay which includes four amazing beaches. It is situated in the northern part of Crete, near the high way, between Heraklion (43 kms) and Rethymno (30 kms). An ideal location which combines mountain and sea views with a crystal clear blue water beachfront. Far away from everything for privacy but at the same time close enough for activities if desired. Atali Grand Resort is destined either for travelers wishing to indulge in discreet luxury and refined elegance or for those who wish to combine their sea and sun holiday with a unique contact to Cretan culture . Our hotel is a modern and newly renovated complex of buildings. It has three outdoor swimming pools , 4 bars and 2 restaurants overlooking the Cretan Sea.

The best hotel at Crete. Our family visited this wonderful place third tome in September. And we are going to do it more and more times. Perfect place Bali, big clear beaches, and the best hotel: renovated rooms, delicious food, hospitality people.

Hotel's Favorite
Very good location in the centre of Crete, with the best view over Bali! The hotel staff are super professionnal and efficient. Also rooms are renovated and very very clean. Our room close to the main building had quite large with an amazing sea view.

Chose this hotel because of the reviews and we were a bit disappointed overall. Food was okay, but being vegetarian things weren't labelled or even were occasionally labeled wrong and it wasn't clear what I could eat. Range was decent but not impressive and things you might expect at a 4 star hotel like fresh fruit juice weren't there. It was always busy in the restaurant and people were quite pushy and would walk straight in front of you with no social distancing, although almost everyone did wear masks and the plastic gloves provided. The only cocktail included in the all inclusive menu was a local spirit which was fine but we were there for 10 days so we ended up going out for cocktails. Highly recommended Nostos on the seafront for dinner and cocktails if you're looking for somewhere to go locally. The bathroom was dated and there was no shower curtain so unless you were really careful the bathroom got soaking every time you showered. Cleaners barely did anything in the room as far as we could tell except replace the towels and change the sheets once. We had taken a couple of cocktails back to the room and the glasses weren't cleared after about a week, although we did find broken glass on our floor that hadn't been cleaned up (we didn't break the glass). Wifi dropped out regularly except in the reception area. Positives - the main pool area is nice and the entertainment team are good. The smaller quiet pool across the road is also good if you want some peace and quiet. Overall we had high expectations after reading the reviews and were a bit surprised and disappointed that it didn't live up to the hype.

We had a great vacation! Our first time going for all inclusive and we have no regrets. Bali is a gem town. Beautiful beaches, mountains around. At Atali Grand Resort the staff is super nice. All questions are resolved, people are easy to approach. Good variety of food. Different kitchens of the world every dinner. Beach is a 3-5 min walk, full of sand. Clear and clean sea. Strict covid measures. Medical center right around the coner to get covid tests and any medical inquiries. We had a careless vacation.

celebrating our honeymoon, we decided to choose this hotel and we were more than pleased. To begin with our desire to have a room far from the cental building which was a little noisy as it accommodates many bars and the restaurant, too. A dark spot was the wifi, but who cares...when you could reach stronger at the main building. With regards to the food it was delicious, the staff are always cheerful and eager to help anytime. Vicky was a nice person to get in touch with, one of the best animmators we have ever met. Bali is a quite large village close to Rethymno, you can use the public transport to reach many differents cities quite cheap 4,00 Euros per ticket. In case of asking a taxi it would be about 35,00 per way as for Rethymno and 60,00 Euros. Everything was beyond our expectations and for sure we will be back again.
