Somewhat walkable
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
First, despite our late arrival, a plate and we were kindly offered. In the room we found wine and two small bottles of water, with what had been sold to us as "fruit basket"; an apple as well as an orange, without knife to eat it. There was no safe, although it was stated on the Pension Description. The lack was reported to the reception on the first day, nothing was done. The air conditioning was cool. It stopped when we left the room which also had poor thermal and sound insulation. The fridge worked but was not stocked. There was only one garbage can. Unfortunately, cleaning was no longer done during our stay and the sheets were simply laid on the beds. Tap water was not safe to drink and the bar did not offer still water. Since I don't drink sparkling drinks, we bought water packs. Fortunately, natural mineral water was very cheap in Crete, around 20 cents a litre in a conventional supermarket, but two to three times more expensive in small shops in tourist places like Bali. The buffet was rich, if not repetitive. A downside for desserts: watermelon, melon, grapes, yogurt, honey, not very good cake, colorful jelly. In the evening in addition to poor quality vanilla, chocolate or red fruit ice cream. The staff was very friendly except for one employee who cleared a little too quickly. The lunch cart always consisted of a slice of bread with a little cheese and accompanied by an apple and two shortbreads, which was insufficient. With regard to the "restaurant", the positive points were mainly its very low attendance and the view of the sea. The beach is a little far away and not 100m as mentioned, with some rocks in the water and algae. The water is warm in summer. The public bus stop is well on the national road 1km away. There's a ticket shed. Few hotels are closer to it in Bali, so I recommend if you want to make excursions on your own. A small train with excessive Awards in my opinion connects the hotels to the public bus stop or beaches once an hour during the day. Finally, the animators are great. At this Inn, the "Reservation" of deckchairs is prohibited. If you find that the number of “reserved” seats exceeds the number of people present around the pool, you can request a deckchair, as the staff are dressed to remove personal belongings.

Pension very well located, man-sized with 2 storey buildings, near the beach (200 meters + stairs to access), near the city of Bali and its port.A really top animation team, we spent extraordinary evenings, bravo to Demsy, Margot and Lamia, lucky you were there, you knew how to make us forget the daily life! So much for the positives. On the other hand, the rooms, of correct size but very poorly maintained, cleaning is never done. We stayed 15 days and the bathrooms (washbasin, toilet, showers) were never cleaned, the towels changed 1 time, they retype the bed and that's all! The beach towels loaned against a deposit of 30 euros, knowing that we keep you 10 euros for washing! And finally the restoration.... Invariable or damaged food!! Indeed many sick holidaymakers during their stay! Not sure the cold chain is respected! This Inn is owned by a private individual who is not invested in anything, taking a nap at the reception or watching movies without worrying about the guests. Nothing professional. What a pity because this establishment has real potential! So please do not market it anymore!!!

Firstly, as other reviews state, yes it is a mainly French hotel but they animation team were very inclusive and the guests were all friendly and how hard is it for us English to say bonjour with a smile? The hotel is superb, we didn't pay tourist tax and the safe in the room was included. The WiFi is fantastic and all of the staff were great and help is always available. The food is what you would expect of any all inclusive in Greece but we managed to find something to eat every night. There's always greek style bacon, beans, eggs and toast on a morning and plenty of tea and coffee. The rooms are very clean and cleaned daily apart from a Sunday however, our room got cleaned on the Sunday also. Towels changed every second day. The hotel has free sunbeds on Livadi Beach and this is found in front of the Golden Sun restaurant. The hotel is in an ideal location in the middle of Bali. There is entertainment every night and the animation team are superb! We will be back in 2025! I would have given 5* but the all inclusive drinks are not good. You can get raki, ouzo and mastika cocktails and a couple of gin drinks and rosé, beer, wine and soft drinks. Other hotels we have stayed in Bali has cheap whiskey and Pina coladas available. This would not cost the hotel alot but would improve customer satisfaction massively. Thank you especially to Lisa and Adonis at the bar and we will see you next season !
Efcharisto and Merci beaucoup!

Family stay with our 3 children (20, 19 and 13 years) Small Family Pension well located. Small shops and bars near the Pension, nearby beaches with some room to put your towel down without having to rent a deckchair (some deckchairs reserved for the club on one of the beaches). As for the Pension, it is sorely lacking in maintenance, cleanliness and hygiene. Cleaning is done succinctly every day but also between holidaymakers (we had a room by the pool, we saw the comings and goings of holidaymakers and especially the lack of cleaning in between, never seen anything but a broom and a shovel, no bucket or mop). As for the general organization: arrivals and departures every day and at all hours and certainly overbooking, we were forced to sleep one night in an annex building of the Pension, in a dilapidated room with 4 beds when we were 5 (a small folding armchair for our youngest child) where it seems to me that it is the employees who are usually housed there (regularly crossed employees in this building). It is the "governress" and the other employees who found us an extra bed pite at night. No move from the management. On the all inclusive side: drinks at the bar varied with local alcohol (or non-alcoholic) as in many places of this type, waiters without the whole friendly. Regarding the restaurant, we had the Impression of eating in the canteen every day, no variety nevertheless the fries are excellent 😉 (but we do not come to Crete to eat fries 😂). Being on the island, the supply can certainly be complicated nevertheless we have not consumed all the products grown on the island itself (it is a shame!!). As for animation, the whole animation team does a lot to make the holidaymakers have a good stay, and it is successful. No child club seen (but not concerned for our part), no teen club but Things to do (sports or not) are open to all ages. Friendly moments around the aperitif games, great disappointment on the evening entertainment, at 11 pm everything stops clear (obligation imposed by the manager of the establishment following complaints). Too bad, many vacationers would be willing to continue the evening. The entertainment team advises places to continue the evening (even if we are not driven). We did not benefit from the excursions (they are a little expensive and sometimes you have to add the meal, to 5 it figures quickly). Many tour operators who seem cheaper around the Pension (based on reviews from other guests but not tested) As for the Fram correspondents, Julie (the hostess) is listening but the solutions are to be found by ourselves (many requests from the reception to get the 2 rooms we should have had upon arrival). Regarding delegate Fram M. Donné (whom we are advised to contact following our problem) there were no unread messages and no calls. It seems to select situations, other disgruntled holidaymakers like us, have been contacted!?! In the end: Crete is a beautiful island to discover however it will be our first and certainly our last stay with Fram. I don't understand how such an Inn keeps being in their catalog, it doesn't give you confidence to book Other Trips.

1 week stay in September 2024, starting 17th. Be ready to pay tourist tax the first thing at the reception when you check in. If you don’t know French , you better learn before you go there :)) entertainment is in french and they rarely speak English or at least a version of it. Very cheap soft drinks , rum, gin and local spirits only, if you want something better , you have to pay. Bottled Water is not for free, you pay for that as well. We had a Superior Room with Private Swimming Pool, the room was decent, bathroom was dirty, toilets weren’t cleaned for some time and the shower wasn’t working very well. You could still shower but be careful of the hot water. With this room , we got a very cheap bottle of white wine and two apples:)). We did not have any kettle , coffee, tea, cups or glasses. We never had the swimming pool area cleaned or the table outside. Towels changed every 4 days, only one bath hood available. Never changed the bedding. The water in the pool was very cold and we couldn’t bathe more than once. Food will be the same everyday and very bad deserts. Cheap ingredients and a lot of sugar. Kitchen staff touch the food with no gloves or kitchen utensils. By the third day, we couldn’t eat there anymore. The soft drinks were something horrible. Very Good location. The hotel is very close to beach ( both of them) and to very good restaurants. Pool snacks will be the same cold offering every day , leftovers from breakfast and Lunch. Maybe you could say is a two star but definitely not a four star.

Despite a top animation team, I put a 2 because the Pension is to flee. 11 day stay booked with Trips Hub, unfortunately the Pension is a 3🌟➕️ only because it has rooms with private pools. Cleaning non-existent in the rooms and in 11 days past the exteriors were cleaned the day before our Check-out. Canteen to escape for an all inclusive, no varieties, omelets soak in water, cut fruits (if any) are deposited with hands by staff, you must constantly wait or ask plates or cutlery, on terrace see eat with stray cats. Fruit and wine basket sold in the service non-existent (2 apples including 1 rotten) sheets that serve as cover sheet too small, no alèse or pillow protector. Towel on arrival stained, water pressure for showers at least in our room, a.petiye bottle of water only on arrival, I had to put the trash in front of the front door for me to be emptied on the 3rd day. Last Sunday I booked a room with private pool for the last 4 days (none available before) , 200th paid in cash and I had to ask for an invoice because the receptionist just noted the date of the room change and told me it's ok🤔. The room was only ready at 1.30 pm instead of 11 am (the previous occupants had already left in the morning) and I had to go 3 times to the reception to tell them ( yes you have to constantly move, no phone in the rooms) . There was still hair from previous travelers in the shower and room. Yellow pillow, cobweb at the chandelier, no curtain closed all day (our room overlooking the main pool) private swimming pool without lighting at night (again it took until the day before my Check-out to tell me that it was not repairable... they knew it well before my booking😠), dangerous sports equipment (several accidents with the treadmill). Club swimming pool to escape (rashes of buttons), exterior and poorly maintained furniture. Some travellers found themselves staying one night upon arrival in the staff studios opposite. Pros: the animation team: Chaima, Demsy and Loulou at the top, they deserve to work in this Pension that many guests flee during the day. The seaside villa which is beautiful with several beaches, shops nearby, Things to do. Julie who takes care of the excursions, gives good advice and the guides for the excursions are tops. Staff canteen and bar generally friendly but lacking and those present are not trained enough, the manager must hire more in high season, profit is good but not at the expense of vacationers and staff! Thanks to Julie and the guides who were good advice and offer nice excursions.

We visited this hotel in mid August arriving at at 2am. We were shown to our superior room with a private pool. The room had a double bed and a metal zbed. The room itself was tiny and tired. There is no wardrobe just a rail with about 4 coat hangers and a couple of shelves to put your stuff on. The toilet in our superior room didn't refill after flushing unless you hit it! The shower didn't stay on for the first few days until the maintenance guy came and looked at it. We had a fridge which you couldn't open fully as the stained door would hit the side of the bed. They did have bath robes and slippers, however the bottom of the robes looked like they had been dunked in urine, not even close to being a superior room. There were no tea and coffee facilities as advertised and one of the lights in the room was hanging off. Our pool was ok apart from the light not working and dangling off the side. The hotel itself is very geared up for the French, who are given different coloured wristbands, which I assume gives them better drinks and some other perks. The pool bar has some friendly staff but the drinks option on the all inclusive are severely limited and the beer is warm and pretty rubbish. Breakfast was OK but in general the food was rubbish and very little variation, the worst I've had in crete. There is an a' la carte restaurant over the road from the hotel you can book. However no one will tell you this and I believe you have to pay for your drinks. The entertainment staff are OK, however they are a French company and as is with most things it I aimed towards the Large French contingent. Bali itself is a nice resort and thankfully has some lovely reasonably priced restaurants along the beach front. In hindsight had I been aware that the hotel is geared towards the French I wouldn't have booked this hotel and having stayed here I wouldn't return as It is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in abroad and amazes me it has 4☆ rating, which is overrated by 3☆.

2 week stay in September 2024,firstly be prepared for the tourist tax you will pay If you don't speak French then you will be alienated as entertainment is in french. Vodka and whiskey are not included in all inclusive packages,,rum and gin and local spirits only. Make sure and ask for an updated room with netflix on the TV as only BBC news in English. Food will be the same everyday and is cold 90% of the time. Good location for eating out as I guarantee you will not be pleased with the food. Bedding and mattress are very old and a double is 2 singles pushed together. Soft drinks are very cheap brands as are the gin and rum Pool snacks will be the same cold offering every day. This is nowhere near a four star complex. Very very disappointed family.

The actual hotel, accommodation, food all of a good standard, the Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. The main problem was that the Animation team were all French and everything was spoken in French ( with the odd English word thrown in) all the games were conducted in French, but as the hotel was over 90% French they really enjoyed it, but we felt excluded. Before and after the sessions, the animation team were all friendly enough to us and spoke in English to us. I would not recommend anyone who is not fluent and completely understands French to stay here, which is unfortunate. We did have a nice two weeks, but being on a Greek island we did expect some genuine Greek entertainment ( one night per week 3 Greek dancers) other than that quiz in French ball games etc all in French. I have nothing against the French, but did not expect virtually the whole hotel to be French. There are 2 beaches a short walk from hotel, very steep hills on the way back! Be careful if the sunbed hire on them ranging from 10€ to20€ for two, except on the Jumbo club free ones on the end of one beach. There is a dotto train that runs about every hour at a charge of 5€ round trip pp

We had booked a double room ultra all inclusive at the Resol this last week. We arrived very late at night and were shown to a room- the staff member left quickly.
We were too tired to look closely, but the “double” was two twins pushed together and the springs coming through on one of them and the toilet door was hanging off. Whole room was filthy and I wouldn’t have gone near the shower. We complained in the morning and were told we could upgrade at a cost of €240. It was that or find another hotel so we paid. The room was a considerable improvement, but still nothing like a four star hotel as advertised.
Now the worst bit, the food. It is categorically the worst we have eaten anywhere in the world . It was so bad we ate out everyday (thankfully there are great restaurants in walking distance) the only thing we had from the restaurant was toast. The hot food was always stone cold. The one al a carte meal was a disgrace. Then we move onto the “all inclusive “ drinks. All alcohol was watered down and yet you had to pay extra for water 🤷🏻♂️ how can water not be included in all inclusive ? The hotels only saving grace was that the staff were helpful and friendly . Bali itself is fantastic if you want a quiet holiday. Just avoid the Resol!
Ps also avoid travel agents “holiday globe” and the various other names they call themselves - totally mis- sold
