This hotel was the best hotel I had ever been in my life. The room was clean and bright, they were changing my sheets and the service was excellent. The food was Cretan traditional cuisine and very tasty. The pool bar had many options too. Very quite place, it is perfect for someone who wants to relax. Highly recommended

Awesome family driven hotel. It's not a big Hotel but that's part of the charm. The fact that the hotel is full of regulars says it all. We've already booked our third trip now and we just love it! The stuff is welcoming and amazing. You just feel like you're part of the family after the first day. It's nice and quite but everything is within walking distance. I could not ask for any more. The food selection is small but includes everything you need. A vegetarian alternative is always available. The desert buffet is always full and changes every day.

Our family visited Crete in September. Since it was our first family vacation with one year old son we had some concerns to choose the right place. We searched for a smaller baby friendly hotel in a quiet neighbourhood. After a short while of stay we agreed Xidas Hotel is just perfect place for us and our little boy. The atmosphere of this family hotel is extremely hospitable and friendly. Interior and exterior of the hotel is neat, spacious and well accessible. Our room was kept clean with fresh towels every day. The smiley, communicative and pleased staff did our stay even much enjoyable although our baby gave them a hard time specially in the restaurant :) Water temperature at the pool could be a bit higher. We didn't use it much but if, our son couldn't stay in for a very long. Both baby and adult pools have the same water temperature which is well refreshing for adults but too cold for babies. The food was mostly what we are used to at home. Lot's of fresh vegetables, fruits, local cheeses, yogurt and everyday choice of meat, fish or seafood. People who expect tons and variety of foods at the buffet might get disappointed. We didn't feel guilty for binge eating at least :) The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the sand beach with the umbrellas and sun beds to rent for about 7 Euros a day. They will be offered for free if you ordered some foods or drinks at the restaurants nearby. Don't expect the area around the umbrellas to be extra clean. It took us a few minutes to clean it up before we dropped our stuff. The sea water is pure clear and great for swimming or just playing around. To sum up, we were more than happy to have our first family vacation in Crete with the hospitality of Hotel Xidas Garden. It was the trip which will be remembered as enjoyable, relaxing and safe. The hotel is right choice for the older travellers as well as young families. Crete also provides historical and natural wonders reachable by a car from a local rental. We can highly recommend it as we often like to bring this nice memories back.

My experiences are very good. Car delivery is exactly as agreed. The fleet of taxi cars is in perfect condition and is kept absolutely clean. The driver is English speaking and so there is no problem in communication. From my point of view, I can recommend this company.

We weren't sure, at first, what awaited us, the hotel is up steep road and from the outside it didn't look like anything much. And it is a very simple hotel, however it was very very clean, and not that it's important but the WiFi was really good. Unfortunately though, there is no wifi in the lower part rooms. And the other bummer was our rooms were all the way on the bottom floor in the back parts of the hotel it seemed. But we don't spend much time in the rooms anyway while on vacation, so it was ok. The pool was always clean. It was very quiet - the Staff was super friendly, especially Thomas at the bar, always a smile on his face and by speaking numerous languages it was very easy to communicate. Seemed like everyone on the Island spoke English as their second language, which was great. Also the food was outstanding, the buffett had different options almost the whole week we were there and it tasted really good. If you don't mind not being right on the beach I would recommend this hotel!

We enjoyed welcoming family atmosphere of this great hotel. Not many guests, cleanness everywhere including the pool. Hotel rooms were large and comfortable equipped. Fridge, air condition, balcony with sun umbrella and sun beds. Really good for this category. Food tasty and fresh, usually one main dish and a lot of vegetables, salads, feta cheese. Very healthy style of cooking. For alcohol lovers local beer, brandy, ouzo, wine, raki as all inclusive offer, other cocktails were paid, but for fair prices. We had 4 sandy beaches to choose. They were 5-10 minute downhill walk. Sunbeds for rent available. I can recommend this place the others, amazing relax and perfect base for the trips, we did them every day. Keep in mind that Bali Bay is on the hill!

We spent a family vacation in Bali and stayed in this lovely quiet hotel. We really loved everything about it. The hotel has a nice location - it is tucked between the mountains but is at the same time really close to the two nearby beaches. We arrived in the middle of the night and were received by a really friendly staff member. We even had a nice Greek salad waiting for us in the fridge! The hotel’s staff has a really friendly and personal attitude, they are always willing to help and are there for you when you need them. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. The premises are very clean. Our room faced the mountains and was nice and quiet. We also liked the food, which was fresh and tasty. The menu had sufficient variety and the chef visited the dining area, making sure that guests were happy. The hotel has a pool and a bar area where it is real nice to relax. We would definitely recommend Xidas Garden to anyone who appreciates a quiet stay without loud music and noisy activities. Thank you for making our visit to Bali such a nice experience!
