Mitsis Rodos Maris garners appreciation for its comprehensive amenities, including a well-kept beach and engaging entertainment, though calls for updates are not uncommon. The staff's friendly and dedicated service is often commended, yet some guests encounter sporadic delays. Views on value are mixed, with discrepancies between expected luxury and actual experiences. While the vibrant atmosphere and room cleanliness receive positive remarks, the dated condition of rooms and decor is a recurring theme. The hotel's beachfront location is a plus, but its seclusion may not suit those seeking nightlife.

Myself and my boyfriend, along with my mum, dad and sister, enjoyed the most wonderful holiday here from 1st October to 16th October. We can honestly say we felt safer in the Mitsis than we do when shopping at our local supermarket!

Our rooms were cleaned daily and the mini fridge stocked every other day, which allowed us to enjoy a drink on the balcony in the evenings. The showers were lovely and powerful, and the beds were comfortable enough.

The food was simply amazing. The buffet was lovely, but we ate a le carte every night. We found the online booking system easy to use and it was simple enough to ask that the 5 of us (two rooms) be seated together in the evenings. The Greek Brunch in the mornings was so relaxing and the eggs benedict are a must have! The American Burger Bar was delicious and we really liked that you could order takeaway gyros from there in the afternoons. The Greek restuarant at night was our favourite, closely followed by the Mexican!

The entertainment was really good most nights, but we did find that the location of the entertainment didn't allow for social distancing (people would sit on the steps leading up to the top bar and you found yourself having to come into very close contact with others.) We would have preferred for the entertainment to have been held at the dedicated amphitheatre.

The alcholic drinks were mostly local but we did find that if you asked for Barcardi you were given the real stuff. It was much quicker in the evenings to order the drink at the bar yourself than wait for table service. However, the ladies doing table service did a marvellous job and were always very polite.

Our flight was cancelled due to an air traffic control strike and the reception staff were incredibly helpful. We stayed one more night at the Mitsis at a very reasonable price, which we were happy about!

The only issue I have was that we found some staff rather rude and unfriendly. I appreciate that they were working under a lot of pressure most of the time (less staff due to COVID 19) but there were occasions where we were made to feel uncomfortable by their attitude toward us. However, the majority of staff were lovely and friendly. Especially Elsa in the bottom bar, who remembered my parents from their previous visit 8 years ago!

I just want to say a massive thank you to the Mitsis Rodos Maris for providing us with a beautiful, calm, safe environment for our holiday this year. The precautions they have put in place are fantastic and you really do feel safe. I cannot fault them at all at their efforts to make the hotel COVID 19 safe. Thank you ever so much. We will be back as soon as possible!

We had the best holiday we have ever been on here at the Rodos Maris.
The room was beautiful, bathroom also & our little terrace was private & lovely.
The food at all of the Al la carte restaurants was outstanding, we only ate at the buffet restaurant one evening & a few lunch times but the food was amazing too & so much variety.
The beach bar was great, the people serving full of energy & so friendly.
The pizza oven was delicious as were the crepes & can I just say the Greek Brunch is a 100% must eat, we ate there several mornings & it was delicious every time!
The main bar was our favourite to sit at, Zoi, Victoria & Samantha are amazing waitresses, so friendly & helpful, always happy & smiling (even through the face masks) But there wasn’t one staff member that wasn’t friendly, helpful & accommodating.
The pools were lovely, we took part in the morning aqua fit & loved it, the private beach equally as lovely & clean.
The cleanliness throughout was brilliant also, our room was cleaned daily, towels changed daily, the pool areas were closed off first thing to allow the cleaners to sterilise all areas. Hand sanitiser located all over the place & all staff wore face masks at all times.
We felt safe & protected, clean & looked after.
We honestly had the best holiday ever! We will be back for definite next year.
What an amazing hotel, staff, food! It was a dream holiday.
Thank you for everything Mitsis Rodos.

Recently visited this hotel and it was lovely even under the circumstances at the moment with COVID . When we arrived at the hotel late evening we were treated to a late lunch which was very much appreciated we hired a car from the airport it was a bit of a drive but we found the hotel with no problem at all our room was very nice we were taken to our room with our luggage on a golf buggy and the room was very nice ,it was spotless too . We were spoilt for choice with the choice of food just a tip if booking for restaurants and there is no space just go to head waiter in the main dining area just ask him to get you booked in for Mexican Greek American and Asian restaurant they are really nice we were stuffed coming out of them this hotel well worth the money plenty of choice of drinks , snacks , beach bar entertainment evening was excellent. The staff are really nice I would recommend a stay here . I had a big birthday while we were away there was a bottle of fizz and fruit left in our room which I didn’t expect at all . Unbelievable experience and many thanks to hotel staff we had a very enjoyable week in Rhodes .

We took a very last minute decision to travel to Rhodes after our Spain trip was cancelled.

We were not disappointed. The food beach and pool are all excellent! Staff so attentive. Grounds are beautiful too.

Perhaps a slight let down was the room made up for 2 instead of 3 but soon put right by the staff.

The staff are fantastic particularly Geogius I think at breakfast works so hard and always noticed if our drinks are empty immediately.

All staff wear face masks and enforce use if hand sanitizers which makes guests feel safe.

Only let down sadly has been some of the other guests. We stand aside for people to pass with no pleases/thank yous and the sunbed reservation is beyond selfish. People clearly reserving first thing for both beach and pool then us sitting near their empty beds for several hours- this needs to be challenged more by the hotel staff. I woke up to watch the sunrise and one selfish guest creeping round the pool to reserve his beds at 6am - unbelievable!!!

Besides this I wouldn’t hesitate to book again and hope to bring the wider family in the future!

I have to start by saying we previously stayed in the sister hotel Mitsis Rodos Village which i have to say was a lot more modern and had that real wow factor! We honestly couldn't fault it. This year because of the circumstances we were put into this one instead, we were a bit gutted but still had an amazing holiday.

Lovely hotel right on the beach which is amazing. The staff worked so so hard you couldnt fault them and they were so nice, unfortunately it was clear they were very understaffed in the restaurant and a la cartes! The greek, mexican and american restaurant were amazing the food was really delicious as was the brunch aswell.

There was hand sanitizer everywhere which was great the only thing that i think would be better is if there was hand wash and sanitizer in the rooms as the soap we had didnt feel like it did enough. I personally think with the restaurant it should have been capped so it didnt get too busy for the staff and guests. Perhaps allocated time slots more so in the evening.

The only things i could complain about if i had to be picky was we paid for a double room but got 2 twin beds together(which i know is very common) was just a bit of a pain they kept moving apart. Also would be great if the food was labelled for vegetarians and vegans! As my partner is a vegetarian and found it difficult to know what was in what!

On a positive note i received a bottle of Prosecco and a fruit basket for my birthday which was a lovely touch.

All in all a great hotel with amazing food, right on the beach with a pizza bar and drinks bar, free sunbeds on the beach and lovely staff. I would highly recommend the hotel, just my personal preference would be the mitsis village!

The staff are a real credit to the hotel!

Thank you so much for being here with us this year despite the covid and all the mess that is happening in the world. Thank you for your kind words and your understanding of the situation and how much the team is working under different circumstances . We appreciate it so much. There is a development plan for renovation the next years and I think , having seen the drawings , will be one of the best if not the best by far in the south of Rhodes, Lets hope things will be better the next years. We wish to see you again wither you will stay in Village or with us next year, end of days we consider ourselves twin sisters hotels. Thank you again for your time writing such a nice review. I echo the other comments about the hard working friendly staff. The people working here make the holiday for the guests. Demetra at the Greek restaurant really helped us and deserves a special mention. As previous people have mentioned try and book the different restaurants prior to arriving or as soon as you get there. The Greek a la Carte was our favourite. We loved the fact that drinks generally came in glasses and not throw away plastic glasses. Toasties from the pool bar kept the children going and the crepes below the main bar were a treat. Pizza on the beach always had a small queue because it was so good. As a family of four we tried the crazy sofa at the watersports centre on the hotel beach. This is obviously extra, (52 Euros), but worth it. There are great rocks further along the beach for snorkelling. Pack your snorkles, you won't regret it. We saw baby sword fish. If you like running or walking, turning right on the beach road takes you through traditional Greek areas with Tàvernas and restaurants. Turning left takes you past other hotels and a few other restaurants and bars. We really can't recommend this hotel enough for a family. The family room worked well for us offering separation between the adults and children and it was great that the fridge got replenished every second day. The room can be a bit of a squeeze when 4 people are getting ready together but we managed okay with two teenagers and two adults. We are already looking at visiting again.

We stayed at the Mists Rodos Maris Resort & Spa for a week from the 26th April to the 2nd May ,on arrival we were greeted with a complimentary drink, check in was nice and easy and the staff were very welcoming and friendly and provided all the restaurant information and tips we needed for our stay. we were then took to our room by the porter who was brilliant very helpful nothing was too much trouble for him.

Our room was very clean and fairly modern, it looked like it had been recently refurbished, we were in room 626 which was at the back of the complex if you have mobility issues ask for a room near the reception as there is quite a lot of steep steps to walk up to get back to the room from the main restaurant and cocktail bars. We had a sea view bungalow which are really apartments with a balcony. The room service was a little on and off one day our room was not cleaned and another day no clean towels were left and were left with none, however we told reception and some were fetched very quickly.

The hotel is really well kept and for what we paid thought it was excellent value and we would definitely return , the weather averaged around 24-25 c

The food was good and plenty of choice we loved the Asian restaurant which needs to be pre booked. The only slight issues we found was some bar staff and waiters really didn't seem to enjoy their job and pool side drinks could range from good to absolutely terrible especially the bar near the Mexican, sometimes they were served in plastic tumblers with ice and were good other times in paper cups with no ice and didn't resemble what you had ordered at all. The young girl behind the bar would barely look at you when you ordered and never smiled, however I was informed by another guest she had just started her job with the hotel and had been given accommodation far away from work so it was a long walk for her to get to work and then she was unhappy as a lot of the drinks and ingredients she needed were not stocked if this is correct I dont think I would be happy in my work either I hope she is now finding it better and more enjoyable.

Overall a great stay, a well kept and maintained hotel, we will be back, thank you to all the staff who made our holiday a great one.

My girlfriend and I spent 3 nights here at the end of April and we loved it. We got a sea view bungalow which was spotless and the view was pretty nice, mini bar was fully stocked with goodies to drink and I mentioned it was our anniversary and they gave us a whole cake and bottle of brut which was lovely. The service of (most of) the staff was definitely top tier and helped with the whole experience. The drawbacks do the room were hot water not always coming on which you wouldn’t expect at a 5-star and the air conditioning was very inadequate leaving me sleepless! This was in 20 degree weather so I can’t imagine how this would be in the summer, definitely something the hotel should look to fix. We unfortunately had an ant problem but this was on me as I left bakery items in my bag open on the bed so just be wary, staff were quick to fix the issue though. Resort wise you have 2 outdoor sea pools which were cold but very refreshing and as we went before the busy season we always had space to relax. The pool bar was great and drinks really were great. The indoor pool looked nice but unfortunately we were told you either had to pay to use it or have a spa service for use of the amenities which seems like a bit of a ploy they should tell you before. The beach was connected and had two bars plus a pizza bar which was fantastic, many chairs available and even watersports even if that’s something you were interested in. Wi-Fi available everywhere which was a good plus. Food wise there’s the all day buffet restaurant and then the a la carte restaurants. We mainly ate at the a la carte restaurants. These were great for selection and service as always was good. Food came super quick but I would’ve rather them take a little longer and just make sure everything was hot as poor often than hot it would be cold or lukewarm which wasn’t great. Despite that the food was still enjoyable. In the evening there was the main lobby bar which was nice with the staff able to make any cocktail but they seemed overly busy as there wasn’t a good process to order drinks, maybe installing an app to take orders would reduce the issues they were having but nonetheless it was great when you did get drinks. They had some evening entertainment which was fun but I would say it maybe wasn’t the most hip place to be if you’re young, still enjoyable but definitely seemed like a good place for families and older folk. Overall had a lovely time and the resort was great but there were a few bits here and there that could’ve been improved. For the amount we paid (£250pp w flights and transfer coach included through love holidays) I’d definitely say we got our moneys worth!

I was sceptical booking an all-inclusive stay particularly at a large hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. Although there were many guests the layout and facilities coped very well and it did not seem crowded. The hotel was busy but our trip was after the peak school holiday period.
Accommodation can vary so you are able to select what suits your needs but in the main the standard is good and the staff keep the place spotless. Food at all of the many optional outlets was first rate, from the fresh pizza on the beach to the rather exceptional ala carte restaurants on site. Only negative is you need to be savvy and get bookings made early to take advantage of Italian, Asian, Greek, Tex Mex if you want to dine in a more quiet atmosphere than the Internatlonal Buffet restaurant. That said all the food was first rate and always available. The room mini bar is well stocked (less spirits) and refilled regularly. I commend the drive to reduce plastic but on a couple of occasions struggled to get bottled water. There are a number of bars all serving great cocktails, and if you are early enough for pre or post dinner drink you get the right glasses and great drinks. It can get busy and perhaps separate outlets for those not wanting cocktails would speed up service. I did note that premium brand drinks were available on request and considered the local beer to be very good. Wine in the main restaurant isn't great but decent at the others.
Lots of activities on offer and a great location so no chance of getting bored if you want more that soaking up the sun. Good stock of pool furniture and loungers so no early morning towel wars.
Although adjustments are available to support those with limited mobility the site is on a steep hill. There are golf carts and a lift as the facilities are spread out.
The staff are very accommodating and always available to help. All in all this is a nice holiday hotel with a lot to offer. I would stay there again or try any of the Mitsis properties.

I recently stayed at the Mitsis Rodos Resort & Spa with my daughter & grand-daughter & enjoyed it so much that I have booked to return with my husband later this month. The hotel is spacious, spotlessly clean & adheres strictly to the social distancing guidelines. There are hand sanitisers throughout the resort & we felt protected & safe throughout our stay. All the staff were friendly, polite & efficient & ensured that all our requirements were met. The food was delicious- varied & plentiful & the speciality restaurants offered equally delicious alternative menus. There were activities available for those who wished to participate. I attended Katerina’s yoga class which was fantastic & thoroughly recommended. We will definitely be attending more sessions on our return.

there are just a few bars but Kiotari is basically very quiet, you can get to Lindos easily by bus but the nicest way to go is on the boat which leaves from the beach daily.
