The Rodos Princess Beach Resort & Spa is lauded for its immaculate, spacious rooms boasting beautiful sea vistas and its prime location with a private beach and scenic surroundings. While the hotel's range of food options and clean pools are well-received, some guests note a scarcity of sun loungers and towels. Despite the admirable service from friendly staff, concerns over understaffing and additional unexpected costs have been mentioned, leaving some feeling the value doesn't fully match the all-inclusive promise.

We have visited at Rodos Princess already 3 times and always returned with a smile on our face. This is great place to stay.
Food is good, and there is always enough options no matter if you are a small child or an adult. Crepes are really good as well as pizza from the beach bar.
Rooms are very nice and spacious enough.
The staff is great and entertainment team suberb. We all enjoyed the shows as well as the daytime programs.
I can also give my best recommendations to the spa, visited there twice during our stay.
Looking so much for the next summer, we will return… again 😊

We had a fantastic stay at Rodos Princess Beach Resort at the start of June 2021. We arrived on the same day that the hotel had opened, so it was all very fresh and the staff was very friendly too. Our room had AC, a very nice view of the sea and a balcony. Room cleaning was done every morning and they gave us extra towels at the reception when we asked.
Since it was just the start of a season, hotel was pretty empty and we always had plenty of room near the pools, there were also almost no people at the beach. Sea water temperature was really similar to the one in the pools, sometimes a bit chilly but you get used to it.
The animation team offers plenty of activities and we participated every day because lounging by the pool gets old really quick. Special thanks to Gaia and Gabriel from international team, they were always happy to see us, asked some questions about our stay, were happy to chat with guests and seemed genuinely interested. There were also shows at the amphitheatre at 21:30 which we attended, they had some simple humour, a few sketches and musical numbers, overall, the other guests seemed to enjoy them and we all had a great laugh.
Food at the main restaurant was delicious and not repetitive, every time you would get a lot of new stuff, just keep in mind that during dinner time there is a dress code, beach sandals and shorts will be frowned upon. Because of Covid you will need to wear plastic gloves when picking food from buffet (you can find them at the restaurants) and your mask indoors. Venus pool tavern offers more national Greek fast-food options, you can also get some food at the beach bar and some waffles, crepes or desserts at the patisserie. Also, at the main restaurant ‘s terrace you can find a very nice Greek corner, operated by a lovely lady, which serves traditional coffee, ouzo and some Greek sweets, it’s a bit hidden, but you can find it between the main bar and restaurant. At the bars you can get a few cocktails and some local spirits as part of your all-inclusive program and everything else is for additional pay.
Overall, we had a great experience, the staff was really friendly, animation team did a great job, it was very clean and we enjoyed our holiday.

We arrived in the early hours and were offered bottled water and sandwiches which was really nice. Check in was fast and efficient. We stayed as family of three at the beginning of October in the family executive suites with a shared pool. The room was amazing with a sliding door between the master bed and the single beds, the shared pool was fully secure with a gate. The views of the sea were amazing from these rooms. The mini bar was restocked every two days but we were given fresh bottles of water in between the restock. The maid Service was amazing , bed sheets changed, fresh towels and a full clean. We had a meal at the bbq restaurant and the Greek restaurant the food is included however you pay for alcoholic drinks, to us this was not an issue. The staff were always friendly and attentive and made us feel very welcome. The staff in the main restaurant particular friendly and warming to our 4 year old even when he was having a tantrum. The drinks were hit and miss but I guess it’s personal preference. Really enjoyed the reusable plastic.cups instead of disposable cups. There was lots of variety of food available from a lot of outlets , the crepes were great. Staff were so kind and understanding when my little boy wanted to order off the menu, a lovely lady in the pool bar made him ham sandwiches instead of a Toastie. Ice cream is available mostly all day which is great for children and adults a like. There are plenty of sun beds both by the pools and the beach. The beach is across a road but it’s not really busy and is worth a visit. We would also recommend the lindos boat it’s £15 euro and lindos is just beautiful. Check out is 11 but we didn’t keep on the room as we didn’t see the point when we could still use all the facilities on check out. The shower room was out of use due to covid but you can have a shower pool side which was good for us, there is a shop on site which is not expensive if you need anything, the hotel also has an app to book restaurants and room cleaning or toiletries. We have already booked to return next year.

Currently we’re here. After long discussion we have chosen first 4* in our life, based on reviews. Could we make better choice? No!!! The hotel is absolutely amazing, so clean and spacious.

STAFF!!! I’ve never seen a place where absolutely every member of staff sincerely smiles. I haven’t got all their names but one- waiter in the main restaurant Adrian. So much attention to the details, next day he remembered that I don’t like to sit under the aircon and always managed to find us quiet, cosy place. All staff is a massive asset to this hotel and must be valued.

Pools seem to be occupied at all the time but still plenty of sunbeds any time of the day. We never went to the pool but pool bar and snack bar and cake corner always busy, however staff seem to manage efficiently and there was never massive queues.

Beach is so beautiful, plenty of sunbeds and despite amount of people no crowds. You have enough space for recreation. Water is crystal clear and so still. If you like snorkelling bring your mask with you, prices here for the equipment are about 8 times higher than on Amazon. Lovely beach bar working from 10 am to 6 pm and in the evening serves as a la karte. I’m sure it’s great as well.
To get to the beach you need to cross a small road and make pretty few steps down, would be inconvenient for people with limited abilities or with buggies, however there is longer way without the steps.

Food is delicious, very good and tasty. Not 15 similar meals, every meal is different. Every day we had 4 different types of meat, including pork, couple types of fish and some sea food. Staff constantly brings fresh meals, no matter how late you came you will eat fresh and hot. Delicious fruits, everywhere, 24/7 I bet. So many different cheeses and cold meats, olives are so so tasty. Can’t comment on alcohol, but house wine was ok.

Rooms are clean and spacious, free safe and really big wardrobe. And lovely LED lights made it cosy. Minibar stocked every second day, definitely not enough water. I’m not sure if they would give you extra, we just bought ours in the shop, but 8 cans of fizzy drinks was indeed enough for two days. No toiletries or slippers or gowns, supposedly due to COVID-19. Bring your own or buy overpriced here, however down the road are plenty of shops and pharmacies, surely everything is available there.
Cleaning and towels change every day.

Overall I rate it as strong five stars and it will be the hotel I will return to.

For the management if they read it-please review the quality of juices, renovate toilets on the beach and allow unlimited bottled water and you definitely can add the fifth star!!! We’re enjoying every minute in Rodos Princess Beach.

It's a long old transfer to begin with at just under 2 hours so that may not appeal to most, but once there you'll forget about that.

Check in was quick and easy and rooms cards all sealed up in a little pouch. Porter on hand to take your cases to your room.

We had room 3110 which is middle of the run on lower first floor. Fantastic view and far enough away from pool and restaurant to interfere with stay but close enough to not be a hike.

Obviously under current restrictions there are several things to note. The restaurant serves via a buffet waiter which I actually found to be a lot better than the normal scrum at the hotplates . Tables spaced accordingly and kept immaculate. All staff wore facemasks all the time. Food is good quality and varied from breakfast through to evening meal.

Externally the pool area is well maintained, again with adequate spacing ( however some guests saw fit to make their own rules up 😡 ) . Drinks are of typical all inclusive type, of which the lager was quite nice to be fair .

Pool fairly cold on entry but after a few seconds all good . Sunbeds disinfected every night (again though sone guests refusing to move for the chap doing the spraying )

Entertainment was pretty good throughout in all honesty.

All in all a lovely clean hotel and actually nicer as it's only running at half capacity so space all round.

What makes this place is the staff. Everyone so friendly and helpful despite having to wear masks all day every day. They really are a credit to the hotel . A big shout out though has to go to Camelia on the pool bar. This girl is a wonder woman . On her own she runs it like clockwork , can serve 4 people at once if needed , remembers the drinks of everyone after 1 visit. This girl deserves a pay rise she is 10 stars out of 5 stars 👍

Note to hotel mind : The sunbed reserving nonsense still goes on even though there are signs up.

Would recommend the hotel though to anyone who wants to go to Kiotari

We got back a week ago from Rhodes after a last minute booking as our holidays had previously been cancelled due to Covid. The hotel is spotless and room was spacious and very clean. We had a sea view room which was perfect to see the most amazing sun rises in the morning. The pool is really large but if you want a sunbed you need to be an early riser! I did hear a lifeguard say that they couldn’t put more sunbeds out as they were trying to keep space between beds because of Covid.
If you go to the beach though you could always get a bed there. The beach is a couple of minutes away with access via steep steps or a ramp for buggies etc. The beach has its own private area with a beach snack bar for food and drinks that was more than adequate.
The main buffet restaurant was very busy at times and I felt a little uncomfortable with people not wearing masks and definitely not social distancing as you had to queue to be served food. The staff were always busy and did a fab job, my only concern was the amount of times I saw staff touching and adjusting their face mask and then serving food. It happened quite a few times. The food choices were good, always something to eat but the food was never hot. In fact one evening I actually had to complain as I had spaghetti bolognaise that was cold. The deserts were lovely, especially the baklava!
We couldn’t book in to the other restaurant on site as we went two days into the holiday to book only to be told there was no availability for the rest of the week we were there so I advise early booking!
The room had to be vacated by 11am on departure day but our transfer wasn’t till 8.30pm so we had to pay an additional £79.00 to keep the room till 6pm. I think this was a bit steep to be honest but there was no courtesy room or showers available to use if you checked out at 11am!
The hotel is close to a few shops and a pharmacy which were stocked with souvenirs and such like. There is a couple of places you can go to eat and drink at too if you fancy a change.
Overall it was a lovely break and a nice hotel.

We arrived 22.30 in the evening, we went straight to the room just to drop off the cases and went to the buffet restaurant, as it open until midnight for late dining. After some food we went to the Apollo bar for a few drinks as all inclusive goes on until midnight also.

We had a large ground floor suite in block 4 which had a separate lounge area with a large sofa, a TV and a mini bar that was refilled every couple of days. The bedroom was also a very good size and had another TV and tea & coffee facilities. The air-con was in the lounge area and because the bedroom was to the side it did not get cool at night. The shower did not always have hot water.

The beach was situated across a quiet road and down some steps, there were plenty of sunbeds and we never had any problems finding some. There was also a beach bar and restaurant that both started serving at 10.00. The food in the beach restaurant was always good with plenty of choice, we ate there most days as we did not want to walk back up the steps to the pool or main buffet restaurant. The water was so clear that even at about 20 meters deep you could still see the bottom. The beach was not sandy but fine shingle but you did not need beach shoes as some reviewers have said.

The Venus pool restaurant serves food throughout the day and we had a couple of very nice pizzas there, you can help yourself to ice cream which we took full advantage of every day after coming off the beach. In the evening this restaurant serves Greek food for four nights and burgers for three. We went to both the Greek and burger nights, the food is very good and plentiful; the only downside is that you have to pay for alcoholic drinks.

There is a pâtisserie opposite the Venus restaurant that did great coffee and cakes but we were not too keen on the crepes as we found them too thick and doughy.

The main buffet restaurant was big and bright with a small outside eating area which got far to hot in the morning when the sun came around. There was more often than not a queue to get in no matter what time we went to eat. There was always a good selection of food which was replenished. You have to wear a mask when not seated and gloves when getting food, many of the guests were only using one glove so still holding utensils with bare hands, we mentioned this to the manager who did speak to some guests but all he got in return was abuse. The staff always wore masks and gloves.

All of the staff work very hard and were always polite and friendly.

If we were to go back to Rhodes we would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Just back after a two-week stay – the food was pretty good overall (the Mexican-themed night was especially good) with lots of choice throughout the various outlets. Our daughters especially liked the crepes and waffles – yes there were sometimes queues but they were never that bad. The beach is shingle so water shoes are recommended. All the staff we met were helpful and polite (including the pool bar staff who have had some negative comments from other reviewers).

The quality of the free drinks wasn't amazing – the beer was tasteless (nicer with a lemonade top to give a bit of flavour) and the cocktails weren't great (apart from the pina colada which became my drink of choice) but this is in line with most all inclusive places we have stayed at in the past.

The one negative thing I have to comment on is the situation with the sun loungers around the pool – we were fortunate to have booked a room with a shared pool so we didn't have to use the main pool every day but sometimes we wanted to go up there for activities and for our kids to meet up with friends. Although there are signs all around the hotel warning people that unattended sun loungers before 9.30am would have towels removed, this only happened once that we saw and by 9.30am it was almost impossible to get one (other than the odd broken lounger with no parasol). For a hotel of this size, I really think a second pool and much larger poolside areas are required.

The rooms and common areas were almost always spotlessly clean and it was nice to see sanitiser being used on tabletops between guests.

As for location – yes it is in a pretty quiet spot, but there are a few shops and a bar just a few minutes walk, there's a bus stop right outside the hotel and there are daytime and afternoon/evening water taxis to Lindos.

For anyone wanting to visit the water park at Falaraki there is a daily free bus (details on the water park website) so you don't have to pay for a bus or a direct transfer.

And I will finish on a high - the entertainment team were fantastic – every single one of them deserves a 'big aplausa' for their tireless work and it was great to see them successfully making our 13 yr old girls laugh out loud at some of their antics. It is a shame to have to single one person out, but Yuri – you are a star and clearly the driving force behind everything they all do and it was great to see that big smile all the time as you clearly enjoy every single minute of everything you do – you deserve a big bottle of your favourite 'Johnnie Walker'.

Overall we had a beautiful week away. The weather was STUNNING and the hotel was great.

We stayed in the executive family room with sharing pool (7112) which was amazing. Very spacious, beds comfy and the pool was fab (albeit slightly cold but not unbearable). It is a little walk away from the main hotel and other pools, but it is worth it for the facilities and wonderful view. We also got a late 4pm check out which was very nice!! The fridge was stocked up with water every other day and the maids also came to clean the room every other day. Maids are very hardworking and so lovely and friendly. Only negative would be that there was no bath, only a shower, which wasn’t ideal with 2 young children.

The hotel itself was very clean and the staff were (mostly) very friendly and worked very hard. The staff in the restaurant were particularly friendly and helpful. Sun beds often reserved early around the main pool so you have to be quick if you’re wanting to sit there! Main pool has a nice atmosphere and was always busy and full of people.

The food was okay but not much choice, possibly due to covid restrictions. We attended the burger specialty night and the food was very nice and lots of it!! I was confused when I went to order a cocktail and was told it wasn’t included on the all inclusive. There is a patisserie bar which serves ice cream, waffles, crepes etc all day by the main pool too.

The kids pool with the slide was freezing cold and the force that the water sprays out the top of the slide put both of my children off and they didn’t like it, I didn’t see any other children on the slide for the duration of our stay either.

Kids mini disco every evening was great and my children really looked forward to it - although is held by the side of the main pool which is a bit anxiety inducing with loads of kids running around a pool at night - not sure why this isn’t done in the amphitheater honestly?

The beach is really nice and the water very calm and warm. There are plenty of sun beds to be able to spend the day there and the beach bar has food, drinks and ice creams all day.

Overall we had a lovely relaxing week away, and would definitely go back!!

First the positives, we had a great time it’s a beautiful hotel great location, generally great food and drinks, lovely beach taverna for drinks and lunch during the day, mostly friendly staff, and the evening shows weren’t too bad for hotel entertainment, plenty of effort put in, comedy night was almost funny… Slides were great fun, even more so when the lifeguard breaks for lunch and everyone takes the inflatables on!!

On the downside, the main dining hall is really chaotic during breakfast and dinner, not a relaxing experience and food did get a bit repetitive after a few days. Some theme nights would’ve worked well but it was the same staples with just a few differences. You can have an evening meal at the beach restaurant and poolside restaurant once each during your stay, but wine (25e) and beer suddenly become payable, something that is only revealed once you sit down which is a bit of a sly move. There were quite a few ants that kept coming back in the room, they cleared them once but I used my own spray after that.

Things like mini golf clubs and table tennis bars can only be borrowed during daytime hours which is poor, also with the games room closed they should’ve put some more activities outside like a pool table for instance .

Arranging a late check out room was chaotic, and eye wateringly expensive, and after 3 attempts to book I still got locked out. Afterwards there was a suggestion that somehow you were expected to settle the bill for this and extras during your stay, as opposed to on check out like every other hotel in the world.

Overall there are more positives than negatives but room for improvement
