We stayed here for a week in a standard room with a pool and side sea view. The room was a little dated but was clean and comfortable. The balcony was very large and a lovely place to watch the sun rise over the sea. We went half board and the food was to a good standard with plenty of choice. The swimming pool was large enough (if not a little cold) and there were always sun loungers available on the beach/grass area or by the pool. We found the bar quiet on the evenings and the drinks a little expensive which is the only reason for rating it 4 instead of 5 stars. 3 of our party booked a full Cretan massage which was well worth the cost and we all felt super chilled after it. All staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The bar staff in particular were always happy to chat. The hotel is around 10 mins walk to the start of the main strip and there is a place to hire boats next to the hotel. We chose to hire our own boat which was very well priced. We would recommend this hotel to anyone which has a fabulous location in the resort.

Stayed for 1 week in September as a couple. The only thing I would say is newish 4 star is the main building /reception. Our room in the building where the dining room is located was old /tired/ shower leaked. Those rooms definitely need updating. The dining room is tired, tables are too close together. Dining room gentleman staff are friendly /helpful. Food was nice, always replenished. Could always get a sun lounger on the beach or around the pool at 8am. Lovely quiet pool, very peaceful surroundings. Drinks are expensive in the hotel bar, hence why not many people drinking, and a near empty bar in the evenings. Very laid back evening entertainment in the bar, but ok. The beach... Peaceful, clean, you will need beach shoes to get in the sea as this is a pebble beach. Overall had a relaxed week here, but wouldn't return as didn't love the resort, and the old tired room was a disappointment for the money we paid. I would rate this hotel like a 3 star.

We’ve been on many holidays , mainly to the Canaries and Menorca but decided to try Corfu again. The Delfina is located perfectly, right on the beach , lovely quite pool and pretty gardens but that for us was the only good bits! It’s definalty isn’t a 4 star hotel , the reasurant is crammed with tables and all the staff , apart from 2 , are miserable and unfriendly and I mean miserable , one young female could sour the cereal milk with just one look. Breakfast was very bland and cold with no microwave to see , and lots of flies around the fruit, the bread rolls often ran out and took a while to be replenished ,although the evening meal was better . The maids and the garden/pool men are very friendly though. After a couple of unpleasant incidents with the miserable and rude bar staff, we decided not to buy from the bar again. We went up the beach to a lovely family run taverna called Taverna Margarita where we were always welcomed with a smile and a chat . Lovely lovely people . Would we come back to the Delfina? Definitely not.

We spent a week here and would love to return. The hotel consists of buildings centred around a pool with lots of rooms with a sea view. That is it’s advantage. Our room was 40 m from our sun beds and another 50 from the sea, which is beautiful, crystal clear and gently shelving. You can sun bath by the pool and easily chose between a pool swim or sea swim. The pool is small and might be pushed in high season but absolutely great last week of august/first of September. However it’s clean, modern and well kept. The main part of the hotel has had a serious upgrade and is beautiful, I would imagine rooms there are similar. We had a room in a small block over looking the garden and pool( but we could still see the sea) These are older and bathrooms tiny and need upgrading. However the location is superb and close to pool and sea and small bathroom a minor inconvenience. The rooms themselves were freshly decorated and pleasant. The hotel is well away from the coast road that blights so many places along this stretch so really quiet, it’s away from the slightly grubby and brash main Messonghi/Maraitika beach area which didn’t appeal to us. The reason for not giving 5* is the dining experience. Whilst the food was plentiful and as good as anything you’ll find locally, the dining room reminded us of an old style canteen with far too many tables packed in. We would definitely only do B&B next time.

We have just returned from this hotel after a wonderful holiday! It’s a lovely smallish hotel where you can relax and unwind the minute you get there. We had a superior twin room in the main building on the 2nd floor, our kids (15&11) had the adjoining room next door. They both overlooked the sea and this was wonderful, you get a full view including the gardens which were beautiful. The rooms inside were perfectly adequate and nicely decorated with a good double shower, the air conditioning could have been better, but we got used to it. The hotel is literally on the beach and the sea is so shallow and warm, perfect for kids and the elderly although it is a bit stoney as you get in. My kids had a great time as there is lots of things on offer including chess, pool, jumping off the pontoon and snorkelling. One huge plus is the WiFi is very good, we had no problems connecting at all and that help keep the kids happy when needed. I also thinks it’s worth mentioning as I have definitely been to other hotels where this has been a big issue. We had breakfast and dinner every day for our 10 day stay, always plenty on offer lots of choice and the staff are wonderful people, very attentive. You will have to play the sun bed game a little, some days were better than others but to get on the beach you do need to be early, we loved watching the sunrise so wasn’t a problem for us to be honest. There is a walk along the beach front and lots of super markets and bars along them which was good for an evening. Lunch was either a visit to the firefly taverna (♥️ this place) family run and just behind the hotel so quick and easy and a break from the sun. Or we had baguettes from the bakery which is up on the main road, easy to find. I would definitely go back here we wanted to fly and flop and that’s what we did, great family time. Thanks Delfinia

We stayed for 5 nights and very much enjoyed our stay. The location is great as you have direct beach access, and some restaurants for lunch as well as supermarkets very close by. The hotel has recently been (partially) renovated so some of the pictures are a bit outdated. The restaurant interior could use an update as well, however, Kostas and his team are amazing and the food is good. Reception staff is also very friendly and helped us with car rental, a good taxi service and beach beds. The beds are being reserved by guests very early in the morning so it’s hard to find a spot when you arrive after breakfast. Some extra beds should be placed as there is plenty of space. Although we very much liked our room (junior suite) it was quite expensive for what you get. However, if you book the much cheaper standard room the value for money is great.

Stayed in 4 different hotels in Corfu and this is definitely the winner: 1. The beach is less crowded than the 6 others we have checked on the Island. Very clean waters (blue flag beach) 2. Nice food varieties (we stayed in a 5-star hotel nearby. Delfinia surprisingly provides more food options). 3. Well-equipped Kids Club (works part-time) 4. Nice friendly stuff. Note: Make sure your room is in the main building. You will be charged for bottled water during breakfast and dinner, however, we found it everywhere else in Corfu. This is not the hotel specific but local traditions :)

Nice and piecefull….Beautiful garden setting situated right at the beach. Service very friendly, in particular in the breakfast area. The hotel offer excellent massage, friendly service by Angelica, and super massage performed by Anna! (Rather expensive through compared to int. full SPA facilities elsewhere…). One issue - to arrange for your favorit shaded spot at the beach or garden, your alarm must be set at 07.00 o,clock in the morning (NOT good).

The location of the hotel is great, near the beach, with a beautiful garden and a pool in the resort. The only downside is we could only book with dinner includer…the food was like in a canteen, the restaurant crowded and you had to pay extra for a glass of water.

The location of this hotel is good; right near the beach which was beautiful. However this is definitely not a four star hotel. We were bracing for the worst though as we'd booked this super last minute and had read quite a few negative reviews anyway. My partner and I stayed here for the weekend and were really disappointed with the room we were initially given. Small bathroom, dirty, and not at all what we expected. We requested to be moved that night, and managed to get a new room the following day which was much better (in the newer building where reception was) but discovered the air con barely worked. We asked about this and were told by staff that it was normal and that air con was controlled centrally. went out for the day and upon coming back it still wasn't working. Some staff member came to help us with it and pressed a button but this still barely made it work. I was hot during the night. We were also made to pay an extra 40 euro for this room upgrade, when the aircon barely worked and the shower leaked (!) Bathroom shower also leaked water while having a shower. There was a couple of really welcoming reception staff, whilst a couple of others weren't caring and we found unpleasant. I was unwell the morning of our check out and needed the room longer, the staff member on the phone at reception was very unpleasant telling me we needed to be out of the room "in maximum 10 minutes" We were told the air conditioning problem we had was also not the reception staffs "problem". I also later on overheard this same woman shutting someone down when they were asking about the sunbeds outside, bluntly telling them they just need to ask the staff outside, in a really unprofessional way. Man at the bar who served us the night we arrived was very nice, providing us with free sandwiches on our arrival with a positive vibe. Nice beach, some nice staff, but otherwise NOT a 4 star hotel.
