Amazing, with a little trick passes more a single comment and the hotel's no to change. A week at marmara.and the big problem food, hygiene... And the treatment plant at the entrance of the hotel that diffuses a foul smell. Worst holiday!!!!

Stayed here in September for two long weeks.
Definitely not a 4* and the all inclusive was extremely disappointing.
So limited for drinks. Barely any choice. Mostly served in paper cups and thats inside too. Last year in Rhodes the AI menu had a local drink for every brand drink.
Now the food, it was awful.
Everyday the exact same , and yes it is cold just like the other reviews. Food being held in hot cupboards that are not plugged in. Really!!!
No show cooking, no theme nights and their Greek night was terrible. If you cant get that right !!! It was no where near 4* . Had to-pay €7 pd Tourist tax . Rip off
Our actual room was ok but the bathroom drains stunk.
Shower very small and very difficult to get temperature right. Outside area had a sewage smell ( again in other reviews) and was disgusting.
Beach area is lovely and stunning views. Best bit of hotel. Sand is like a building site. . The guy (wasp man) serving drinks is a legend. Working all day surrounded by wasps. Staff are a huge credit to this hotel. Look after them.
Location isnt the best. Not much outside the complex.
We did a few trips with Soulas travels . Blue Lagoon was fab and a Grand tour of the island . Definitely go here for your trips , lovely lady .
I would not recommend this hotel like it is now.
Mitsis has taken it over since we were there . They have a lot to change. It really could be something special. If the food and drink is good you can overlook other things. The entertainment might have been ok if the area was bigger too. Like the French side who have a very nice area just for them. Lose this separation its not doing you any favours.
Whoever is in charge of food and drink need to be replaced.

This was by far our worst all inclusive holiday in 15 years.
We stayed the first week of October. On arrival at 11:30pm we had to wait to check in and then were pointed over to a separate block (Riverside) to our room. No offer of help with cases and no offer of a drink ( not even water ) . You have to pay for bottled water but the supermarket across the road has bottles at 30 cents
The room was more basic than a travelodge (we booked and paid for a superior room) and it was not clean. There were small areas of mould in the room and more in the bathroom. The shower was so tiny that when I tried to wash my hair I kept knocking the shower tap which would change the temp. Sat on the toilet our knees were on the sink (and I'm a UK size 12 and only 5'6") .
The hotel was clearly tired and dated.
We got up to a lovely sunny day and went for breakfast.
WOW! if I thought the room wasn't up to standard breakfast was awful. We had to search for a table, then queue for our food waiting nearly 10 minutes to get near the front to collect a plate. Food was lukewarm at best! This didn't change for any of the meals, well except the queue time. One evening it was 20 minutes. There was a good selection of main course food. Not too many dessert selection but ice cream was always available.
The hotel has direct beach access and this was lovely. We sat on the beach. This has its own beach bar (free cocktails are vile , but if you pay for them they are lovely) . It also serves freshly made Pizza . Although we read you had to pay for these sunbeds we were never asked to and we stayed all day.
Just slightly further down we discovered a second restaurant which was lovely and quiet. We ate lunch there. Again it was luke warm but no queues, and it was so nice to eat overlooking the sea.
The pools are great in size and had lifeguards. The areas were never cleaned during our time there. Towels which had been left prior to our arrival were still there when we left and added to that sunbeds that were moved were never tidies up for next morning. Abandoned cups / drinks stayed for days which is probably why there are so many ants! Each day we saw people around the pool requiring first aid on their feet although we never encountered an issue.
My husband wasn't ill but I was and I've never been so ill. On speaking to others around the pool and at night it seems most parties had also had someone in the group with the sickness / diarrhea at some point.
This hotel is in a great location and with the right makeover could be superb. The bar / pool staff were absolutely lovely. The various bars etc are well stocked and with the right management in the restaurants they could be tuned into a far better eating experience. Walking out of the hotel there are loads of bars, mini marts and eating establishments close by. A bus at the end of the drive can take you into the city centre.
The reception / management staff were a tad rude to say the least. The hotel needs a really good clean and a huge upgrade.

Good afternoon, everyone.
At the Messonghi Hotel we spent a week and the hotel left a positive impression.
Accommodation.
The hotel arrived in the evening, so they checked in very quickly. A hotel employee escorted us to our room and delivered our suitcases. They moved into a cabin on the river and it was great, from the balcony you watch the ships on the river, feed the local ducks and you can't hear any animation.
Room.
The room is pleasant, clean, there is a kettle and a coffee tea set, soap facilities.
The room has one minus - it's a shower stall!!! It's tiny and completely unsealed. No matter how hard you try, there's always a puddle of water on the floor!!!
Beach.
Here's the beach is 10 out of 10. Large, wide, gentle entrance to the water, sunbeds are free and at any time you can find a free one.
Food.
Food is no frills, but decent. Sufficient hot dishes and desserts, a variety of fruits and drinks. Cold smoked salmon at weekends and sparkling wine at breakfast.
Territory.
The area is decent, well maintained, several swimming pools ,2 water slides, bar. I liked the lobby bar, the room is big, clean, there's always a place to sit and relax. All day delicious ice cream of several varieties in waffle horns is available.
Parking.
That's a big plus for the hotel, too. Parking is large and there are always available spaces.
The hotel has changed owners and better times await. I hope it's updated and takes into account any shortcomings.
The rest was successful, thanks to the hotel staff and the beautiful island of Corfu with its Greek hospitality!!!
We recommend it!

The hotel is great location, not even 5min from the beach. The staff is very welcoming and at your service if needed. We had a great stay ☀️+ Convenient to visit the rest of the island, it has a bus stop just outside the hotel.

We have been coming to Moratika and using this hotel since 2016 sometimes visiting twice a year, sadly this is the last time as I would not return again due to extremely poor quality of food and drinks, we ate out most nights , the times we did use the dining area we had to queue up like we were in a school canteen holding our plates, for a 4 star hotel this is poor service and surely should be addressed
Meal times should be an enjoyable experience
We usually stay in the Riverside rooms
This time we were over next to the Spa
Our room was small cramped and the shower cubicle almost impossible to use due to it being so small
Next Summer we will use Sentido Apollo Palace hotel further along in Messonghi
that hotel offers a much higher standard of service and is also 4*

I would never return to this hotel. We go on a family holiday every year and this has to be the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Also don’t join the Facebook group because it only allows positive reviews and any negative reviews get deleted. While at my stay I availed of the laundry service, my laundry was late getting back to me and when I did receive it I noticed a massive chunk of my clothes were missing and it was too late to go to the police as I had a flight in less than 5 hours and it was already past midnight of me trying to get the hotel to do something.
Never have i experienced such horrible service and I’m at a big loss of my clothes that I never got back.
Also the smell across the resort was disgusting, not sure what that was about but definitely look elsewhere for a good holiday

Never again, much better 3star hotels for the same price, went in October with my daughter never been on a holiday that I absolutely hated but this was it, food horrible and little to choose from. No glasses not even in the bar, head bar man with the beard so rude , colour of the room was so dreary it was depressing.. honestly say never again plus I was eaten alive to make things worse

What a surprise to see that all reviews have been deleted!!!
Hotel where many holidaymakers fall ill due to a so-called virus...
What is really true is that the food is nasty, that a terrible smell is present because of the sewage treatment plant right next to the hotel...
Holidaymakers, especially not to book at this hotel!
Dangerous to vulnerable people or young children.
Stayed in August 2024, we were all sick including one person who took a long time to recover
