Went along one night intending to spend the evening having a few drinks and a meal outside in the garden. We were met by quite a strange stern character who gave us a look of “what are you doing here “ I asked if I could table and he said “drink” I ordered a carafe of wine and the menu” by now his attention was drawn to other people arriving who he obviously recognised throwing his arms around them. The wine eventually arrived but no menu. On going into the restaurant area where the hot food cabinets are situated I saw that the food didn’t look that special so we paid up and left. I won’t be venturing into the garden again.
Our family (5p) really enjoyed the past two weeks in Three Stars Village. It is a beautiful located hotel directly situated at the beach. We rented an appartment, it was a little house with a terrace and two bedrooms. It was basic, but really clean (cleaning every day) and if we ever needed anything, they fixed it within a few hours. People working there are very friendly. The restaurant is situated a long side the beach, so you always enjoy your breakfast or diner with ocean view and breeze. We booked half board and the food was sufficient and diverse with a lot of traditional Greek food varied with more standard meals (spaghetti, chips, tomatosoup, etc). In the morning, coffee, thee, water and juice is included, and for diner you pay seperatly for the drinks (normal prices like € 2,- for fanta etc during high season). The pool is nice to cool off and for the kids to play in. There is a nice field of grass with palmtree's to relax on and of course there are also chairs (on the grass as well as on the beach) which you can rent. It's € 2,50 per bed for the whole day, but when you use it after 15.00 o'clock it's free. There is a really nice beach bar (part of the hotel) in front of the restaurant with a very kind bartender. It's only open during daytime. and closed at night (if it was open at night, we would definitely had drinks there). But there is a sort of beach boulevard (more of a path) which brings you directly to several bars and restaurants next to the hotel. So enough choice. The only thing our girls missed a little bit was that they didn't have Wifi in the appartment. So if they really needed it they went to the reception (which provides free Wifi and a lot of chairs both in- as outside). But as far as we're concerned, we didn't miss it at all ))…
It is an amazing hotel ,with a great view both to the sea and also the mountain. Everything was fantastic , from the breakfast and dinner that had everything included , to the beach that was 50 m. from the main hotel building ,and of course the pool , which was also really clean. Moreover, the personnel was so kind, and willing to help us at any moment. Overall the services was totally worthy the money. We are going next year for sure.
Restaurant review - slow service with often rude staff. We ate here a few times within our holiday and found the old guy who took the orders ignorant and off hand never with a please or thank you. At one stage he walked away from another customer before she had even finished issuing her order and she was just sat there open mouthed at his rudeness. He used to shout your drink order across the restaurant to the bar. I asked for a large GLASS of white wine and received a PINT of wine!!! Never in my days has a restaurant served me a pint of wine. One day he took our order and my husbands meal never turned up, no sorry no discount on the bill. The food is actually good but they can’t get it right in the first place.
Been here for a week and the hotel has lots of pros: + First of all the location is amazing Directly at the beach with a restaurant giving you a view to the Ionian See + the rooms are nice. AC, Balcony, TV all you can think of and more in a 3 * Hotel + You have a shop in the hotel where you can get water for the trips, night or for the stay at the beach + The beach bar is very nice and the lady serving is very generous Now the con and why the hotel didn't get 5* from me: - the food is so European Not much options for vegan/nistisimo Every breakfast was more British then a British breakfast. We had to get vegan chocolate spread to put on our breakfast Unfortunately is the crew not aware of what's inside the food so if you have allergies don't hope to get a 100% answer to your question from the team. We were looking forward to lots of Greek options but they put meat or feta in everything. So I recommend the hotel for everyone who doesn't have a food allergies or special dietary wishes.…
This is a lovely family run hotel. It has direct access to the beach with the restaurant overlooking it. The food is excellent and good value. I particularly recommend the fish. The sea is warm and has plenty of fish to see. I will be happy to return to enjoy this hotel again and look forward to seeing the friendly staff once more to enjoy their hospitality.
The reason we select the specific hotel is that it is on the beach. Apparently the sea is not that good. The same for the room, old air condition, slow internet, problematic fridge etc. The breakfast is not good. The staff is perfect always polite and helpful!
I booked this hotel independently direct with the hotel after looking at its ratings on here We were not disappointed Had a side seaview room which we could see the sea from 3 angles from the balcony. Thank you Giannis All the staff were very pleasant from the girl that worked clearing tables at breakfast to the chap who picked us up and dropped us at the airport Some of the staff are family members but you wouldnt know which 1s As they all work so hard Thank you to all of you The restaurant can be a bit chaotic at breakfast but the food was always good at every meal We stayed on a B and B basis but also ate lunch and dinner on several occasions too Our room was always kept clean and beds made up We had a very relaxing holiday and we would have no hesitation staying at this hotel again…
Thought while we were away we try various restaurants. A short stroll along the beach and you find this beach front restaurant. We soon got sat down and the waiters were very friendly. The meals arrived, chicken kebab and steak. The kebab was nice, my friend asked for medium to well steak, lovely peice of steak arrived but was still very bloody inside, soon as waiter came he knew straight away before we said anything, it was taken away to be cooked more, shame really as when it came back we more or less had eaten ours. Think the price reflected the error as the bill was cheaper than we thought. About €10. The atmosphere was lovely, there was a singer on a electric piano and some of the waiters dancing with the single ladies which was nice to see.
I knew Three Stars when it was just a small taverna on the beach, when the rain used to come through the thatched roof. I loved it then and I'm sure I would love it now. I have seen them grow and grow over the years and saw them begin to build the hotel, where I stayed once with my mother when we came from Cyprus. A wonderful family who have worked hard all their lives to offer now this large development. May you continue the good work Christos and family !!! I'm looking forward to seeing you again one day soon.
