Our family (5p) really enjoyed the past two weeks in Three Stars Village. It is a beautiful located hotel directly situated at the beach. We rented an appartment, it was a little house with a terrace and two bedrooms. It was basic, but really clean (cleaning every day) and if we ever needed anything, they fixed it within a few hours.

People working there are very friendly. The restaurant is situated a long side the beach, so you always enjoy your breakfast or diner with ocean view and breeze. We booked half board and the food was sufficient and diverse with a lot of traditional Greek food varied with more standard meals (spaghetti, chips, tomatosoup, etc). In the morning, coffee, thee, water and juice is included, and for diner you pay seperatly for the drinks (normal prices like € 2,- for fanta etc during high season).

The pool is nice to cool off and for the kids to play in. There is a nice field of grass with palmtree's to relax on and of course there are also chairs (on the grass as well as on the beach) which you can rent. It's € 2,50 per bed for the whole day, but when you use it after 15.00 o'clock it's free.

There is a really nice beach bar (part of the hotel) in front of the restaurant with a very kind bartender. It's only open during daytime. and closed at night (if it was open at night, we would definitely had drinks there). But there is a sort of beach boulevard (more of a path) which brings you directly to several bars and restaurants next to the hotel. So enough choice.

The only thing our girls missed a little bit was that they didn't have Wifi in the appartment. So if they really needed it they went to the reception (which provides free Wifi and a lot of chairs both in- as outside). But as far as we're concerned, we didn't miss it at all ))

Been here for a week and the hotel has lots of pros:
+ First of all the location is amazing
Directly at the beach with a restaurant giving you a view to the Ionian See
+ the rooms are nice. AC, Balcony, TV all you can think of and more in a 3 * Hotel
+ You have a shop in the hotel where you can get water for the trips, night or for the stay at the beach
+ The beach bar is very nice and the lady serving is very generous

Now the con and why the hotel didn't get 5* from me:
- the food is so European
Not much options for vegan/nistisimo
Every breakfast was more British then a British breakfast. We had to get vegan chocolate spread to put on our breakfast
Unfortunately is the crew not aware of what's inside the food so if you have allergies don't hope to get a 100% answer to your question from the team.
We were looking forward to lots of Greek options but they put meat or feta in everything.

So I recommend the hotel for everyone who doesn't have a food allergies or special dietary wishes.

Restaurant review - slow service with often rude staff. We ate here a few times within our holiday and found the old guy who took the orders ignorant and off hand never with a please or thank you. At one stage he walked away from another customer before she had even finished issuing her order and she was just sat there open mouthed at his rudeness. He used to shout your drink order across the restaurant to the bar. I asked for a large GLASS of white wine and received a PINT of wine!!! Never in my days has a restaurant served me a pint of wine. One day he took our order and my husbands meal never turned up, no sorry no discount on the bill. The food is actually good but they can’t get it right in the first place.

Went along one night intending to spend the evening having a few drinks and a meal outside in the garden. We were met by quite a strange stern character who gave us a look of “what are you doing here “ I asked if I could table and he said “drink” I ordered a carafe of wine and the menu” by now his attention was drawn to other people arriving who he obviously recognised throwing his arms around them. The wine eventually arrived but no menu. On going into the restaurant area where the hot food cabinets are situated I saw that the food didn’t look that special so we paid up and left. I won’t be venturing into the garden again.

This is a lovely family run hotel. It has direct access to the beach with the restaurant overlooking it. The food is excellent and good value. I particularly recommend the fish. The sea is warm and has plenty of fish to see. I will be happy to return to enjoy this hotel again and look forward to seeing the friendly staff once more to enjoy their hospitality.

It is an amazing hotel ,with a great view both to the sea and also the mountain. Everything was fantastic , from the breakfast and dinner that had everything included , to the beach that was 50 m. from the main hotel building ,and of course the pool , which was also really clean. Moreover, the personnel was so kind, and willing to help us at any moment. Overall the services was totally worthy the money. We are going next year for sure.

Corfu is a remarkable island which owes much of its reputation to its beautiful mountainous countryside. The price that its potential visitors must pay for its beauty is a very limited number accommodation facilities that can offer smooth access to the beach. In the published info booklets most of the hotels try to attract the guests by speaking about a short distance to the sea. However they tend to be silent about the necessity to overcome maybe short, but often rather steep path, that sometimes includes crossing a busy road.
After seeing places of this kind, the relatively modest hotel Three Stars seems like a paradise on earth. It is located in a large, shady garden directly bordering on a big pleasant beach.
I would recommend this hotel to all those who do not require luxury, but look for a pleasant place to spend the days in just doing nothing. Here, allow me to point out, that the restaurant where you can have your lunch is located in the same garden - no need to change.
My advice to those who do not look for evening entertainment is to ask for accommodation not in the main building, but in one of several two storey high dependences, located in a garden behind the hotel - these are almost absolutely quiet.
Last but not least I greatly appreciated a very helpful hotel staff members and a friendly atmosphere they kept trying to create.

On arrival at the “Hotel Three Stars” we found the reception staff friendly and helpful, checking-in was a breeze. We were allocated a room with a view to the gardens and a glimpse of the swimming pools and the sea. The room was basic, but it was all very clean, sufficient cupboard space and a reasonable size balcony.
The Hotel has a large garden facing the beach which one could use for sunbathing. The beach itself is beautiful, a mixture of sand and fine shingle leading down to a clear, clean sea. The sea is shallow out to about 150 meters so could be ideal for young children. There is a beach bar selling whatever you wish from wine – beer – cocktails all at reasonable prices.
Next to the garden is the restaurant, a bar and a shop. The restaurant has a À la carte menu as well as providing the guests with half board. Breakfast is basic; don’t expect the huge buffet spread or “full English” that is popular in some of the larger establishments. The evening meal was a choice of two starters, a choice of two main meals and a sweet. The food is delicious, rarely have I ever stayed in a holiday hotel and have been served the local cuisine, which was always one of the choices. The restaurant staff were always helpful and efficient as was all the personal in this hotel
A few tips: Beach towels are not provided so take your own or buy them there, the cost is peanuts. The sun-beds are provided and cost only 2 Euro per person per day. If you are sensitive to noise; then when booking your room ask for a quiet one as we did, there is a Bar/ Disco not far away and some of the hotel rooms that face the sea are within earshot. Shopping can be carried out at any one of the numerous supermarkets, the nearest being just around the corner. Other supermarkets, bars and restaurants can be found in the village (10 min walk) also here you can board the buses that travel to Corfu town and beyond.
In general, we had a wonderful week due to the hotel, its location, the beach, the food, and the personal; everything suited us. We will go there again.

I have spent 1 week with my fiance- The location is the best since the main building with nice swimming pool, beautiful garden and the beach with ombrellas, only at 50 metres far!!
Should you need relax, calm , no car, no discoteque this is the best option!
The staff is very gentle, the quality of breakfast is medium, there are the hot drinks dispensers (which I hate, queuing every morning to get a coffee), greek products and yogurt, english breakfast and some fruits- There is no heater for bread -
We have not eaten at the restaurant (same area for breakfast), so I do not know the quality: price is 15 euro per person, self service-
Lovely and very good little restaurants and organised beache are very near the hotel, just 5 minutes - there is no long promenade, just 200-300 metres but is very beatiful, you see the beach and the sea.
The negative points: the Wifi is only in the main building and next to the swimming pool, the beach and restaurant are not within the wifi are, neither the rooms (3 euro/hour if needed).
The ombrellas and beach equipment is not for free: 2 euro/each per person
The taxi called from the hotel does not accept credit cards :-(
From the airport, the taxi accepts credit card but please ask prior to get on the taxi.
If you want to use the bus (4,80 euro return), to Corfu city takes 35-40 mins and you get off just in the city centre . The problem is the return: it is not at the same bus stop, you need to walk 15-20 minutes to get the Bus terminal and get the bus back to Messongy.
The land, the energy, the sea and beach are really beautiful, this is my second time in Messongy!

Stayed here from July 16th-22nd. We had a room on the second floor (none of the rooms actually face the water, but a very short walk on a sidewalk takes you right to the sand). Basic room, AC, small fridge. We had half-pension, which meant a buffet breakfast and buffet dinner included. This is NOT a super deluxe buffet, but quite adequate..drinks very reasonable. When we ate on the town, dinner for two with wine was around $25.00 USD. This is a nice location, because a short walk away is a fantastic, VERY well stocked market that stays open late (all kinds of food, snacks, fresh fruit, even great souvenirs) Greece is very reasonable for all food, drink and souvenirs. It's also close to a great rental agency for cars and scooters. After visiting Corfu town by scooter, I was super glad we were in this location (very quiet compared to Corfu town). Next door is a huge, all inclusive hotel, and I was glad we weren't there.
Staff here was very nice and attentive...always with a friendly "Kalimera!" each morning.
Nice pool (we went to beach). No jacuzzi if that's important to you. All kinds of inflatable toys to use on the ocean. Ocean is quite shallow quite a ways out, no current, super nice to swim and for the families it seemed nice. Bring water shoes, as the 1st foot or so is rocky. Guests seemed from all over, which I enjoyed...not just full of English speakers only. There's a great little wooden boardwalk, allowing you to walk along and stop for drinks and meals at other beach-side places.
