We were offered this hotel by Tui when the hotel we had booked informed our travel agent that it was closing early. We booked an all inclusive package. The staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean and the room comfortable. The bathroom needed updating as it was impossible not to flood the floor when showering as the doors did not seal but there was plenty of hot water which was good. Be aware that the inclusive package only included ouzo and local brandy, beer and wine in their alcoholic drinks package, white & black coffee, and soft drinks did not include diet options. We were aware that there was a charge for sunbeds around the pool and on the beach but the daily rate for two was a bit more than we expected. Food was tasty but choice was quite limited so a fussy eater might struggle.
The bistro bar, where we spent most of our time, provided seating and was right near the beach. The sea was easy to access and looked safe for swimming. The bistro bar was open to the public and there was a noticable difference between how all inclusive guests and paying guests were treated. Paying guests were served and were offered different crockery, with the niceties of crisps or nuts or biscuits with their drinks but not for armband wearers. We got our own drinks and there were no little extras. Athough the waiters were always polite, we have to admit to feeling like second class citizens despite in reality, having actually paid in advance.
We were the only British people there and they very much catered for the German holiday market. There was no Tui rep ( which we did know in advance) so no offers of tours or sightseeing but there were places within walking distance that offered those and the locals were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is not somewhere that is going to provide children's entertainment but it might suit those who are happy to entertain their own children and enjoy a quiet beach holiday.
It wasn't quite what we have been used to when booking an all inclusive holiday but as older people we enjoyed the quiet and being able to sit by the sea and watch the world go by!

Just returned yesterday from a week staying at this hotel, this is my honest review.
Positives; Location, absolutely fabulous, beach front and 15 minutes walk to the centre. Hotel is nice and clean, staff very friendly and work hard, gorgeous pool and smaller jacuzzi pool. Literally amongst all the beach bars and Tavernas and not forgetting The Golden Beach cocktail bar where there are shows on an evening.
Negatives; Food a bit hit and miss, we stayed half board and I ate breakfast at one of the beach bars 4 days. The mattresses on the beds were rock hard and finally, the one reason I would not go back to this hotel is ... a charge of 9 Euros per day for 2 sunbeds and a parasol round the pool even as a hotel resident, this really did not sit well with myself and all the other British people staying there. I understand charging on the beach but come on, not at your hotel pool! We ended up going to the beach after 2 days and paying less for sunbeds at one of the bars.
It is such a shame as the pool area and garden is lovely.

Stayed in the Albatros on my 4 day break from home, the hotel was very clean and presentable, the staff are amazing people they will do anything for you! Love the Corfiots 😁🇬🇷 there was an English breakfast option of bacon, egg and beans in the hotplate. Only one thing though is that even though you stay at the Albatros you've still to pay 5€ for using a sunbed around the swimming pool and an extra 2€ to have an umbrella.... if you do stay here and use the sunbeds then use the ones they have on the beach itself which is also connected to the hotel

It was one of the worst hotels we have ever visited. Scary!!! The rooms in the entire hotel not air-conditioned, temperatures in the hotel, as well as in the dining room, on the corridors of 26 degrees and more, it stunk of fat and food everywhere, the food a disaster, cheap, greasy, tasteless, just levelless, vacationers complained of diarrhoea, even we had 2 days to struggle with, staff unfriendly by the bank away, for every service despite all inclusive you had to pay extra, loud music at the pool bar down to the beach, beach unkempt, sunbed/umbrella on sunbed/umbrella, dirty, unk and the room furnishings Coarse garbage ripe!!!
I can only advise anyone to book here all inclusive or to book the hotel at all.
No service, not even for dinner for Al-In guests, HP guests are served - levelless.
Tables were rarely cleaned and cleaned, especially at the pool bar, so you had to clean your own table.
Lounging by your own hotel pool costs money - a joke! Lying on the beach also only for payment!
Sunbeds per day 9€ on the beach as well as pool.
Bath towels deposit of 10€, but you only get 9€ back because of the cleaning and when you exchange you will also be charged a fee.
The drinks are cheap, inferior and watered down, the beer never gets worse and Coke, Fanta, Sprite etc. from hose! Sugar sweet, disgusting. No cocktail, no booze, like vodka, whiskey, nothing - you should pay for everything.

Our conclusion: If you are a 3*** hotel, with unfriendly staff, uncomfortable rooms, loud music at the pool & beach, no services, same daily, bland and tasteless food, whether early, midday, evening and still into old worn furniture in the rooms, this is the place!!!

We had all inclusive, terrible of room , pool , bathroom , food , friendliness . Just everything was bad. It was so bad and little of everything we had to eat outside every day it was inedible and little. The rooms and bathroom kept to the simplest standard. Ants on the bed , Very old furniture , old mattresses , mold , I can only warn everyone about it . Room safe has it in the room but only for an additional fee of 18€ per week you can use it .Beach towels you only get for an additional fee , umbrella and lying paid both on the beach and on the hotel own pool , have never experienced anything like this . Can only warn anyone not to book here . The waiters unfriendly and say swear words like Malaka I prefer not to translate here . The all inclusive drinks the last lint . But if you order and pay from the card you get Original Coke , Fanta , and others. Don't know what else to say I'm really missing the words, so bad or disastrous was this. I wouldn't even come here with my family if the hotel gave us the trip so ....... That was it.

My daughter and myself had a delightful 2 weeks at the Albatros Hotel in Moraitika, Corfu. The hotel enjoys a beach front location and is set in beautiful, well kept gardens. The hotel was beautifully clean with regular changes of bedding and towels, we went all inclusive and each day at all of the mealtimes there was a generous selection of buffet style meals to suit all tastes. One of the biggest assets to the hotel just had to be the staff, from reception to dining room to their bistro, all just wanted to accommodate us with whatever we wanted in the friendliest and kindest way. The owners were also very keen to ensure that we were having a good holiday and I
certainly would recommend this hotel, one downside was that there was a charge for the poolside sun lounges which I have not experienced in an all inclusive deal previously, however they were beautiful sun loungers, very comfortable so all in all my review could only be favourable even more so if they had installed a British flag out front along with all the other countries flags. Thank you Albatros we enjoyed.

I would only recommend this hotel for retirees. There are no organized activities offered by the hotel, and there's nothing for children to play with or keep them occupied. They can either be in the water or in their rooms. The rooms are generally okay, though the cleaner didn't reach our room even once in three days. The bathroom door can only be closed from the inside due to warping, and there’s a persistent sewer smell in the room because there's no odor trap in the shower drain. Every sunbed on the hotel and beach grounds costs 5 euros, but if you want two beds, it’s only 9 euros. Of course, benches and chairs are only available at the public bar where anyone can enter. So, a 10-day stay adds up to nearly 100 euros in extra costs. Despite these issues, the staff is friendly, but they must adhere to hotel policies. The food selection is small, but mostly tasty.

Just back from our 3rd visit to Albatros and never disappoints. The staff and owners are superb and treat us like family, this is what makes it so special.
Pool and beach amazing, people moan about paying for sunbeds but we buy for the week and put a tag on them so no getting up rushing to reserve a sunbed do for us this is totally worth it.
Food always great, not a huge choice but that’s great as encourages us to eat something we wouldn’t usually. No complaints from us.
Big shout out to bar staff and can’t wait to go back next year

We only used the beach "service" because, according to the poster, it is public. In contrast to the neighbors, they unfortunately charge €9 for sunbeds/umbrellas and don't even have a trash can.

We now use the other rental companies where you can sunbathe for free if you have something to eat or drink. Since we drink/eat something at lunch anyway, it works out well
