We are traveling a lot but never feel so welcome thanks to Eleni and her mom who welcomed us even at 2AM. The place is perfect as the base to explore the island, but if you need relax, the pool and its surrounding is just the place to spend the morning. Breakfast is the best which I had in Greece ever and above all, we have found out together with Eleni, that there is also outside shower hand made by her father.

Maria and Eleni gave us a warm welcome, the rooms are clean, well furnished and have air conditioning and a lovely balcony. The lovingly tended garden with various flowers, herbs, olive, orange and lemon trees and the lovely pool contribute to relaxation. We were there from June 1st to June 11th, 2024 and felt at home from the start.

This hotel is fabulous! Maria & Helen ( mother & daughter) are the most perfect hosts. Maria works tirelessly, makes breakfasts, cleans, dispenses advice... the rooms are spotless, most recently refurbished, the setting is lovely ( lovely garden and gorgeous pool) yes... you do have to pay extra for air conditioning but it’s made perfectly clear from the outset and is not particularly expensive. Helen makes herself available for advice on local sights (and there are plenty!).
This hotel is well located for trips to all corners of the island, only a five minute drive from Stegna with its choice of tavernas, 10 minutes from Tsambika beach (where you can get an all over tan at one end of the beach), 35 minutes from the airport and Rhodes town.
Highly recommended.

This hotel is the worst i’ve ever stayed at.

When arriving in the late evening the gate to the hotel was locked, with no access point, luckily other guests were there to let us in else there would have been no point of entry. After entering the hotel it was completely different to the pictures advertised with haunting photos of dead family members and china dolls. Furthermore, there was no one manning the desk, after ringing the bell a multitude of times we were met by the elderly owner who did not know an ounce of english and was immediately rude and dismissive of us despite the fact we were paying customers. The day after they met us with a bunch of hidden costs, including a “room tax”, which I have never experienced holidaying in any other hotel. Our power went out on the third night and due to the fact they had no staff we had to go to the elderly owner who instead of letting us mention the problem, screamed at us about waking her up before we could even say the hotels power cut, in which she called her daughter who became defensive stating her mother was “old and tired”, and quite frankly, though understandable, did not warrant her shouting at guests as this was not our doing.

If it can be avoided DO NOT STAY HERE! Save your money and put your business elsewhere. The owner was rude. There was no staff. The hotel was dirty, our sheets having a yellow stain on them. Avoid at all costs.

We got there at 2 pm and no one was there to receive us. Knocked on doors for a while, gave up called twice and the someone answered. We could barely communicate with her due to language difficulties.
The gsrden and pool looked great but when we got inside, we were shown to a room which looked nothing like the pictures. After a huge back and forth, it emerged that they gave our room to long standing customers.
To add insult to injury, we were connected via phone to the daughter who was simply combative and defensive. We walked out of there with no plans in place because it was that bad.
We had booked 4 months ahead, received no communication from them, and upon arrival were just given substitute rooms which is not what we booked. Simply unacceptable.
Rooms are dated. This is a hotel with individual rooms down a long corridor no matter how they advertise it. Air conditioning costs €5 per day. The terrace we were given had standing room for 2 .

If things go well, perhaps these positive reviews are warranted. Or if you are a guest who is known to them. But woe betide if anything goes wrong, you will be facing a very different scanario. No thanks.

I was scared when I arrived... the reception room is a hymn to death... only photos of dead family members... the hotel is aging, dirty, then overbooking requires, no more space in the hotel... they find me a room in a neighboring hotel… the bosses are not friendly… stingy…. Not even offered a drink to apologize. Finally I'm better in this annex, super cool boss, ok not the same services.. too bad

To find such a friendly hotel in a charming authentic village. The rooms are clean tastefully decorating. In a send you ate guests in a lovely Greek home. The garden is glorious and the pool fantastic. The village is full of friendly people willing to give advice. This is a great place to sit and watch real Greek life unfold.

A fantastic family run guest house run by Mother and daughter.
Breakfast is beautiful and plentiful and features fresh produce from the garden.
Perfect location for us in an authentic Greek village, so dining out is authentic.
we walked to the beach however owner is happy to take and collect you from the beach for a small charge.
A wonderful guest house , with beautiful maintained garden I really don’t understand why the price is so cheap, they should be charging double! Can’t wait to return, arrive like strangers return as friends!

We visited the hotel as we were having our wedding in Archangelos and wanted a place to stay for us, as well as for our friends and family. Eleni and her mother made us feel like home from the very first minute and were really accommodating to everything we needed and asked for. Our friends only had good words to say and enjoyed their visit as much as we did.
Because we were getting married, they offered us the newly refurbished wedding suite, which they also decorated on the day of the wedding. They were also pretty relaxed and flexible and at the day after the wedding, they made us a very rich breakfast, even though we had woken up past midday.
If you are thinking of having a relaxed holiday, in a place where people will take care of you and your family in Archangelos, then seach no more!
P.S. if you need a car, then you should definitely use Dimitra cars, which is owned by Eleni’s sister, Dimitra. Never again have I felt so well treated by a car hiring company; always on the spot for me, my friends and family.

A HUGE HUGE THANKS to everyone there for the great time!
Σας ευχαριστούμε πάρα πολύ!

Nice place just hidden off the main road, good facilities, pool, outside breakfast area, etc. Comfortable rooms, shame the A/C costs extra, I think they could include the cost in the room price without any difficulty. The owner is very hospitable and will meet your every request with a smile, within reason.
