Myself and my teenage daughter took a last minute trip to this beautiful part of the world, we spoke to Rula by phone, who is one of the lovely family that run the Resort, she has perfect English. She organized a taxi from the airport for us (€55) which is the standard rate. When we arrived it was a Thursday night and their weekly bar b que was in full swing with all the guests enjoying good food, music and dance. We were given a free welcome drink and afterwards we were shown our lovely room. everything was spotless, comfortable and towels were changed regularly. The pool was also spotless as was the whole resort. The family who run the resort are friendly, helpful and always there to help if it is needed. Its close to the beach and restaurants. Their restaurant is lovely and serves beautiful food. The value is excellent and the atmosphere in the resort is always friendly. We had a perfect night sleep every night with air con and there was always hot water when we needed it. Perfect!! We will be back

Stayed at Kokalas with my family, two adults, two kids, for two weeks. Let me tell you, this stay has been truly amazing.

My wife and I have traveled the world, from bungalows to luxury hotels. This visit easily tops many of them. As a Greek descendant in Sweden, when I visit Greece, I want the experience to be reminiscent of my youthful visits to my grandmother during summer breaks. It's been hard to achieve that feeling after many visits, but Kokalas made me feel like a young boy again, surrounded by a loving family, not just staff.

Nikos and his family, including his wife Roula, brother Frank, and charming young son Giannis, were incredible. The entire staff, including maids and cooks, were equally amazing. In Greece, we call this "filoxenia," which means being a friend to strangers, hospitality in its truest sense.

The rooms are as described—simple yet beautiful, with soul. My wife and I were tired of the standard art deco look with all-white interiors and universal remote controls. Kokalas suited us perfectly. We want to express our gratitude to the sweet ladies who did an exceptional job cleaning and were always so polite.

Nikos and his brother Frank arranged fantastic day and night trips for us. Just ask them for anything, and they're more than happy to help. Normally, I only stay in hotels for business, but Kokalas has changed that. My heart longs to return, and I'm already searching for flight tickets for next year.

I write this from my heart and words cannot express how incredible this stay has been. Thank you immensely.

With love from Spyros and family. Hope to see you again next summer.

The warmest welcome awaits you at Kokalas Resort. This family run business is fantastic, nothing is too much trouble to make your stay as relaxing and pleasurable as you like. My highlight is always the Cretan BBQ, expertly prepared by head chef Fragias, while Nikos, Rula and the rest of the family provide excellent service and entertainment. I have traveled all over the world but this is home from home.

This is a fantastic hotel to stay at, and highly recommended. The atmosphere is indescribable, and the family that runs the hotel are the most service minded and incredible nice hosts we have ever met on our travels abroad. Perfect location in Georgioupolis, with short distance to the beautiful sandy beach and to the center of this charming village.
We have absolutely nothing to complain about in this hotel, everything is just absolutely fantastic
Many guests are so satisfied that they return year after year, and so are we. We cant barely wait until next summer :)

If you want a home from home then Kokalas Resort is the place for you. A small hotel with a very big heart a welcome second to none and a welcome that will stay for your whole holiday.
A very well kept hotel all rooms are cleaned to a high standard very nice pool area with plenty good quality loungers. The bar area is beautifully decorated and provides a good shade from the heat of the mid day sun somewhere to have a very good meal and drink and a chat to other guests and of course the amazing family that proved the calm and relaxing atmosphere. I personally prefer the small hotels where you are treated like a person and not just a number.
You will be very well taken care of by Rula, Nikos, Frank and Yannis nothing to much trouble just don’t be afraid to ask it will get sorted. There are plenty of restaurants in the village a wonderful square and fantastic beach the whole place is very friendly.
My wife, son, daughter have been coming to this hotel for 16 years for the lat 3 years it’s just been me and the wife kids grown up now, we have made some very wonderful friends who also are regular guests. To Finnish if you want a calm and relaxing friendly holiday the Kokalas is the place to be you won’t be disappointed. Keep up the good work

Just returned home after spending a fantastic week, at this lovely family run hotel. The hotel enjoys Greek coziness. Clean and nice everywhere. Nice large apartment with kitchen, dining area. Balcony and terrace.
Was despite the arrival, warmly welcomed, with a little refreshment.
You can eat all your meals at the hotel. The food is extremely tasty and freshly prepared.
The hotel is centrally located in relation to the lovely beach and cozy city center, where there are several Bars, taverns, shops and supermarkets.
The family held a small barbecue party where we were all offered to attend. Lots of delicious food, the family was going, all day, to prepare the party. Where we were all invited to try our strength in dancing Zorba.
Small but cozy pool area where there were always available sunbeds. Around pool and garden.

Hope we get the opportunity to come back.

I visited this place for first time 8 years ago, and I loved it. Since then, I visit the place every year for 2-3 weeks. Nikos, Frank and Rula are the most smiling, cheerful people I have ever met. The rooms are beautiful, clean, perfectly equipped and decorated for the occasion and the room service is excellent. Τhe nights at the pool and snack bar are unforgettable. The barbecue night full of Greek music, laughter, dance and amazing food is a life experience... We enjoy every moment in this resort and we are planning to come back soon.

We have just got back from another lovely week's stay at Kokolas resort. The apartment was cleaned to a high standard and the resort itself is great with a bar/restaurant area and a swimming pool. Just a short walk to the beach and to the town square where there are plenty of restaurants, shops and excursions to choose from. Nikos, Rula and family could not have been any more welcoming or helpful, nothing is too much trouble! Frank's food is not to be missed, especially on Bbq night, a night of fun, food and dancing!

At the last minute before our vacation, we changed our destination and ended at Kokalas after a recomendation. And we are so greatful! Best vacation ever!

Nikos, Rula and the rest of the family and staff are the perfect hosts. Taking good care of everyone, and make sure that you have all you need and want. If any problems, they are there to help.

The facility was clean and nice, the breakfast and food in general was lovely and the accomondation perfect.

If you go, be sure to join the bbq-nights. And if you get the chance to taste the home made Moussaka while you are there - dont miss it!

We highly recomend a stay at Kokalas, and we cant wait to come back 🙏🏻
