Additional: the hotel is magnificent. Beautifully clean and well appointed rooms. The facilities were fantastic, with a beachfront of beautiful clear waters. An amazing resort pool. What a beautiful oasis in Crete. Highly recommend.
The room was all you needed. Bed, Cot, Sofa, Fridge, Bathroom, TV, Safe and Air Con. In our case we had the private pool which was great to be able to relax in your own privacy. Cleaners were in every 2 days and again were fully protected with masks and gloves. If needed the maintenance man, Afrim was available straight away. Very friendly and had you sorted straight away.
Pool Bar served everything from local beer, wines and spirits to cocktails and soft drinks. All staff very friendly but in particular Daniella and Nico. Always smiling and happy to help in anyway.
Pool Area and beach - plenty of sun loungers and parasols for everyone at pool and on private beach. Shaded, Sheltered area's also if that's what you like.
Entertainer Kiko always had something going on whether it was aerobics, waterpolo, volleyball etc. At night, he was DJ, along with bingo, quizzes etc. Live Music was also provided via a band on certain nights. Couldn't ask for anymore.
Restaurant was a buffet style for breakfast, lunch and dinner which in current circumstances is all served by the staff in a one way system. The food is very good and a good variety for everyone. Even for the fussiest of eaters there is always something available. If like ourselves you have a young child there are high chairs available which are cleaned and sanitized after each use.
All in all, this hotel is a very friendly, relaxing and safe place to be. A fantastic atmosphere among guests and all staff are a credit to the place. We hope to return again.

There is huge amount of dishes on each meal. Everyone will find something, from vegeterians to huge meat lovers 😊 everything was fresh and nicely seasoned.
Big advantage. 🤌
Rooms are very clean, they keep 4* standard. Very comfortable beds. Cleaning stuff is doing there work on 5*👌
there is No chance to get bored there. Every single evening is fulfilled with activities, like live Music, karaoke nights on the bar next to the swimming pool.
But being honest, their biggest advantage is Stuff.
They are doing all the work, and you can feel, that all of them are doing it with passion. I had an Opportunity to meet the Owner of the Resort, Mr. Stelios, who treats every single guest like a "friend of a house". I will never forget Mrs Daniela, Zeta and other people from Bartenders Team...all of you, with Mr. Stelios on Top, made this. I'd like to Thank you very much for your time, for your work, and passion in your hearts. You've created an organism called "Hydramis", place where I spent one of my Best holidays ever! It your merit!
I'll come back there without a doubt!
Highly reccomend for all!
Zorian!

Our flight was late getting in so we didn't get to the hotel until gone midnight, the hotel staff provided food, water and even a bottle of wine in our room for us on arrival.
The food was amazing, fresh everyday, there is always something there for everyone, as well as a selection of greek and cretian dishes so you can try local dishes. Speaking of the food, the manager of the restaurant was amazing and very accomodating. Nothing was too much. We had the romantic beach side meal booked but on the day it was forecast rain so he offered to close off a section of the restaurant for us or move it to another day.
The pool bar is also very good. The staff there are always cheerful and happy to help, especially Dimantra! The selection of all inclusive alcohol is what you would expect (local beer, wines and spirits) but they were all nice. They have a premium drinks selection that is also well priced (around the same you would pay in a regular bar).
Poolside area is amazing. Gets the sun all day and is just next to the private beach. There are plenty of sun loungers so you don't have to worry about getting one. Its very clean and tidy and they provide beach towels.
Rooms are cleaned everyday, and will come back later if you ask them to. All staff very polite.
The on site shop is handy if you just wanna grab a snack or anything you may have forget to pack. Staff in shop also very helpful.
Reception is beautiful and staff very helpful. If you need any information about daytrips they will help. They will direct you to the bus stops of you want to venture out and will even ring you a taxi if you need one.
The hotel is close enough to towns that you can get there easily but far enough away that you don't feel like you are in a busy area. Its a very quiet location.
The hotel manager was also very helpful. Any issues that you may have (we had none) he is more than happy to help resolve. He is always around the hotel talking with guests and making sure that every aspect of your trip is amazing.
The activites run pretty much everyday from 10am until around 11pm. Dalli the activites organiser is good fun. He tries to get everyone involved and will make sure you enjoy your time. If you have an idea for a night time activity he is open to suggestions. We suggested Karoke and he had it organised within a day or 2.
Overall an amazing experience and can't wait to be back.
Hotel Grounds are so pretty, flowers and plants everywhere, a great layout.
The family room was very spacious, sadly the mattresses and pillows were not comfortable, the hotel could invest in better bedding, ie mattress toppers and nicer blankets, the fleece blankets were dated and worn.
Would love to see a kettle and iron in the rooms.
The bar staff are so polite and friendly, Daniella made the best Mojito I’ve ever tasted, she was so lovely, Kiko the entertainer had a que of German Girls for my son to mingle with, he was such a great host thank you from Archie :)
The all inclusive cocktails were not the best, too much alcohol and concentrated over sugary juice, I managed with the White Wine and soda and really didn’t mind paying €6.50 for a decent cocktail, the beer on tap was also decent.
The food was hit and miss, I could not find anything at breakfast suitable so skipped it most days. I loved Gyros and Greek salad, but after 7 nights you do get bored, would loved to have seen themed food nights.
More variety definitely needed for food, the menu aimed mostly at German guests tinned hot dogs and milky scrambled eggs not the best, very repetitive menu.
The owner was constantly around ensuring his staff were working hard but was not welcoming to his guests, I failed to get a hello from him.
I have given this hotel a “very good” due to the staff, they worked so hard they made us feel like family, the hotel is also located on the beach and run extremely well.
I would return due to the good value, but I would not go all inclusive, it seemed a bargain, however after seeing the standard of food and drink, it is better to walk up the road and eat out in the evenings.
I would recommend Car Hire, Ethos in the local Town do a great deal with air port drop off. The Taxis back and forth more or less covers the car hire for the week, giving you freedom to see places like the town, the lake and other sandier beaches.
The entire site was spotlessly clean.
The room was lovely with great storage and lots of mirrors. We paid a little extra to get a sea view and it was worth every penny.
The food was lovely with lots of choice. Not always piping hot but I think that is often the case with buffet/all inclusive meals.
When in the dining room everyone wore a mask and gloves (both of which are provided by the hotel) when not seated.
All tables and chairs were thoroughly sanitised between guests.
The staff were all very friendly, cheerful and helpful.
I must mention 2 in particular. Daniella and Lina who worked in the bar. Neither of these 2 wonderful ladies could do enough for us. Daniella made wonderful cocktails too.
We will definitely be returning.

The food is varied. You can try some local delicacies and the people responsible for the desserts deserve a raise.
You don't have to go outside the hotel grounds to admire the mountains and the sea. The views are very charming.
It is also worth mentioning a nice animator who cares about people of all ages, providing everyone with interesting entertainment.
Even though the hotel is approximately 100 kilometers from Heraklion airport, it is worthwhile to follow this route to find this place.
We got in around 8pm from our flight and was greeted by friendly staff at reception, giving us a nice drink of lemon water and giving us a slight upgrade of our room to a partial sea view, which was a lovely surprise. There is a room charge which we expected, 3 euros a night so was 21 euros for us.
The pool is a good size and was cold but not too cold, just perfect for a cool down as it was boiling! All staff were very helpful and smiley. The beach was lovely as well, we mainly stayed by the pool just because of preference but for beach lovers, it looked beautiful.
I don't have much to say on the drinks as me and my boyfriend do not drink alcohol so we mainly drank water and coke but all seemed nice and readily available drinks all day at the bar, also ice-cream is available for all inclusive customers and some snacks such as salad and sandwiches.
The food was good! There was slight variation every day with lunch and dinner, breakfast stayed constant throughout the week. Some classic foods for those who do not want to try Greek cuisine but there was also some more adventurous food options, even snails one evening!
Room was cleaned every day and new pool towels either everyday or every other day.
In regards to location of the hotel there isn't much around to do, we found a boat safari to go on but other than that this location is only really good for those who want a very relaxed holiday mainly staying in the hotel.
The only thing I can pick out to be improved is that there was not much going on in the hotel, only really ping pong and then a beach party on one evening that wasn't really popular and a bit boring.
Overall, a lovely holiday full of relaxation.
We want to return back to this resort!!!

comfortable pool right next to the beach. The hotel area is a solid flower garden in the background of the mountains. The room had all we need, wifi also was good both in the room and near the pool. It is an amazing mountain lake Kournas with clear water and turtles not far from the Hydramis. You can take a taxi, or rent a car, or take a local bus to Rethymno or other cities. The hotel has unobtrusive animation with sports activities, music.
