It was our honeymoon, our agent wrote in comments, that it will be our honeymoon, bet we didn't received any greeting in room (of course it's not mandatory to give something for guests, but it would be nice). We receive room with terrace and garden view, but it was not possible to sit on that terrace because the smell from the kitchen was very strong (especially when fish was being cooked). Second thing, the bed was uncomfortable (two single beds were pushed together and with very hard mattress). after first night I woke up with very strong back pain and I asked to put a mattress on top, we received it after two days. The food was really good, a lot of things to try (meat, fish, pasta, etc.) Coctails was good too. It's a good thing we had water shoes, otherwise we wouldn't have reached the sea, full of rocks.

Dear Guest, First of all, I would like to congratulate you on your wedding, we had no idea... it wasn't mentioned in your booking and nobody informed us (I checked after reading your comments). We actually have a special welcome for different circumstances such as anniversaries, honeymoons... etc. I apologize for the disappointment... hope we knew it before. Hotel's Favorite
The perfect place for families. We stayed All Inclusive and our party of 7 have no complaints about the food. It was always delicious, always fresh and plenty of variety. Omelettes cooked to order for breakfast. Freshly cooked pancakes for breakfast. The pool was cold (freezing) but we did manage to get in it eventually but we stayed the last week of October. The weather was gorgeous, in fact we fan out of suntan lotion because we didn't think we would need it that often but we needed it every day. The hotel staff cannot be faulted. Friendly, helpful, and they all seemed happy to work at the hotel. The hotel is not a chain, it's been independently owned for about 15 years and I think the owner treats his staff well. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for any of them. The gardens are beautiful, well maintained and make the whole hotel look magnificent. So much better than a concrete jungle, much prefer seeing native plants flowering in abundance. The beach is right beside the hotel, 30 seconds walk from the pool. There is a pebbly bit so beach shoes or flip flops will help get over this bit into the sea where there is plenty of sand. There is some sand on the beach but I wouldn't say it was a bucket and spade kind of beach. There are beaches like this in Crete - we drove past them on the bus going both to Chania and Rethymno. The hotel was clean. It is a little bit tired but for the money we paid it was perfect. We had a terrace with table and chairs and our room was spacious. The bathroom could do with a refurb but it was functional. Expect functional and you'll be happy when you arrive. An excellent power shower and always hot water. What else do you need? Visit Chania (45 minutes on the bus) and Rethymno (15 minutes on the bus). Both towns offer something different and both are well worth a visit. The bus stop is no more than a 10 min walk from the hotel but when you return make sure you know where to get off (I think you need Dharmia bus stop but check with reception). All in all a wonderful family holiday in a lovely location made perfect by the staff.

I landed here on Friday late at night from a long journey and delayed flight after midnight. My first impressions in day light were great 😊 it’s a very well kept clean hotel. But I travelled alone with My two sons who are 6 and 12 there is lovely pools and straight onto the beach but zero activities for my kids!!! In high season there is the same singer/pool sport man on singing in the evening. That’s ok but after 5 days i am wanting to pay money to explore better entertainment. Me and my children don’t like the food it’s the same grilled pork and chicken every meal it looks pretty big catered kid dog a continental breakfast . That we have skipped breakfast 3 days out of 5 breakfast is 7.30-10am lunch is 12-2.30pm and dinner is 6.30-9pm I have craved traditional Greek food all week yet saw the same pork and chicken fried, token raw chips. One night there was lamb on I was so happy it was cold i mentioned to staff I was ignored!!! My sons hate the food that much they don’t want to eat. The snack bar and all inclusive starts at 11am and finishes at 11pm and food in the snack bar is awful 😞 mushroom pie and a few dry sandwiches in the fridge which are omelette sandwiches and the bread tasted stale!!!!!! If it’s empty which it usually is after an hour from 11am it’s not restocked at all I asked twice!!! I like traditional Greek food it’s the same bland foods every day it’s put me off!! No saganaki, no kleftico, no mousaka The staff are friendly especially daniella and Erina and not many Brits which ivsn be a good thing but the biggest let down is food wise it all tastes bland!!!! I actually think it should be an adult only hotel as nothing to do for my kids in a 4 star hotel and sadly I won’t return which is shame as the gardener is incredibly clean and it’s so well kept!!!! Tonight I will spend money going to the next door hotel!!!! Come if you want to see no Brits and relax. If don’t bring kids zero for them to do!!!

This hotel is the most pleasant place I've ever visited. The hotel itself is gorgeous, decorated by plants and a spice garden, the rooms are spacious with beautiful window views either to the garden or the seaside and it's located just by the beach. The rooms were always spotlessly clean and the splendid food options were absolutely delicious. The greatest experience however was the staff (cleaners, waiters, cooks, receptionists, bartenders, the manager and so on) who always went above and beyond to make sure all guests were fully satisfied. There was also some kind of entertainment for each evening (e.g. quiz night, dance party, karaoke, etc. Suitable for everyone from families with little children to groups of friends. Will be coming back to this place next year for sure!

Took me a while to get around to writing this, we went early June for a week. Myself, partner and our three children (6, 17, 20) None of us can fault this hotel. Clean rooms, towels changed every other day. Gardens and flowers are amazing, as are the views of the sea and mountains. Staff were brilliant and friendly. The supervisor (wish I could remember her name) was great and really took care of the guests. Max the entertainer was so much fun and was a good friend to us throughout the week. Everyone enjoyed the entertainment, water polo, beach volleyball, darts etc in the day. Disco’s, live singers and quizzes in the evening. We were all inclusive and there was always something tasty to eat, especially loved the bbq. Nice local beer and we enjoyed cocktails in the evening. Pool area was fantastic for all the family, never struggled to get sun loungers and we sometimes didn’t go down until around 10am. Lots of different nationalities (we are British), everyone was friendly and kept themselves to themselves. We would definitely consider coming back. Thanks for a brilliant holiday!

The hotel is swathed in colour - beautiful flowers everywhere. The gardener must be praised. Rooms were large and very clean and we had balconies with beach views which was wonderful. Every single member of staff were friendly and treated you like you were a VIP. The pool was clean and well served by a pool bar and many sun loungers and umbrellas.A live saxophonist serenaded us poolside on Sunday. The beach had plenty of loungers and umbrellas and there seemed to be an unsaid etiquette that people shared beds and left peoples things alone and the loungers were vacated. People kept themselves to themselves and were well behaved and respectful to one another. A very safe atmosphere which is priceless. The beach had a tiny line of stones at the edge then nothing but sand and many Dreamfish so the water was very clean. The first couple of days the sea was rough due to the storms in the Balkans but after that the sea was like a millpond. We went B&B as there were only 3 of us. This proved a great choice as we found the local ‘strip’ minutes away down the old road parallel to the main road which you can cross safely via an underpass. There you can find a Spar and a cash point and fast food and many restaurants and shops. We recommend ‘ Thirty Three’ as the waitress there was a star. It was very hot when we were there but you can cool off in the sea / pool / fresh water showers which were plentiful. A first beach holiday for us and a perfect place for one.

The hotel location is really bad because it was in a isolated location so for those who want to explore Crete, I would not recommend this hotel. The staff was rude most of the time, they feel annoyed when you ask important questions or want service. What we didn’t like the most, however, was that even with all inclusive you couldn’t get water and have to buy it from a market. They even don’t let you fill your own bottles with water during breakfast. Not only that, rooms seem quite old, interior seems off, we have seen spider webs everywhere. Rooms are little cleaned, towels are not being changed everyday. The food overall was okay but it was almost the same everyday. The entertainment was kind of lacking, however, we loved the animation team. The gym is not renovated, the equipment is old, even rusty. Also, I would not even call it a gym, because it has barely anything in here. The conditioning system was also disappointing, there was no air conditioning in the lobby. Furthermore, the rooms would poorly cool due to conditioning limitations and time limits. The night entertainment was amazing, as well as pool entertainment but could last longer. Overall, would not recommend this hotel as it was not worth the price we paid for the stay.

We are czech-hungarian family with 1 kid, just came back from this hotel and we only could recommend it. Hotel is very nice with amazing garden full of flowers. Rooms are clean, air condition working with no problem, wifi strong - working even on beach! Beach is very nice, there are few meters with stones in water, but then there is sand. Sea could be wavy, but this is nature… we had almost all the time nice sea to enjoy. Pool is clean and warm, the same the smal pool for kids. There is enough sun beds on beach or at pool area. Food is very tasty too, you can always choose something you like. For kids there is pasta or pizza everyday, fresh fruits as well. Only 1 think could be better - if the pool bar opens 1 hour earlier at 10 am. The most important thing - hotel staff - there are amazing people working in this hotel! Everyone was nice, kind and smiling. Reception lady, staff in main restaurant. I can not thank everyone… but I would like to highlight Daniela from pool bar, who always waved and smiled to our daughter. And animators - they are doing amazing job. Only 2 persons to care for the all entertainment - Hichem and Daria are just great. Their programm was excellent - perfect mix of everything. Daria was very nice to kids. Overall, it was perfect holiday, we did enjoy all the time here!

We spent 13 days in hotel and that was too much for this hotel where people are staying much shorter, few days only. Hotel was booked via Dutch agency but clients are from Eastern Europe and i belive that quality of the hotel is adapted to less demanding clients. My impressions will try to list per items: 1. Location- at 20km from Rethymno ,nothing around the hotel ,car is needed. 2. Beach- family hotel with stony beach not adapted to kids.very wavy sea, waves about 1m ,beach easily get closed by lifeguard ,so swimming days get lost. One lifeguard over 3 or 4 hotels,in order to have not too much job he is closing a beach for swimming....so you can swim in pool with 200 other guests .. .i think beach of the hotel is not for kids.during our staying beach was closed for swiming for 4 days and having rumors that hotel guest drown which was concerning about beach and strong currents.I did not feel safe and did not let my son svimming without supervision though he is good swimmer with A and B swimming diploma 3. Food was various with nice choice evry day but not tasty.Breakfast from 7.30 -10h,lunch soon after that at 12-14h,dinner at 18.30 -21h.If you are late only 1 min you will miss your meal, meaning hotel will tolerate late guests...Unfortunatelly we paid all inclusive so we were stressed to not be late otherwise you can forget the food. 4.Drink- awfull. So called local drinks are actually soda with syrup ,we like wine but that is the cheapest possible so we did not drink. Coffee from machine ,Fredo ypu have to pay,Ness coffee is not existing Price list is not published so uou have to pay what os asked to paid.I m sorry that we paid all inclusive arrangment as that was loss of monney Managment is trying to diacipline the guests and instead to having nice rest at all imclusive package we were looking at clock to not miss the meal or snack as time table is to be respected and we had to look at schedule what you can eat and when for snack, for coffee and tea .We complained to hotel manager when she asked me to upgrade tje review of the hotel and she said that all inclusive package is not paying Fredo amd coffees, however i paid it 3.5eur as much as pool worker asked me to pay 5.staff is professional and cold and having impression that they are happy when you are leaving.Nobody shown any interst to know the guest,no communication staff guest, only basic communication about ordering the drink.Manager of the hotel making pressure to guest to leave good review ,preferably above 4 stars, but hotel service is at 3-3.5 star.I visited high ranked hotels world wide and i recomend that managemnt do the same in order to learn what 4 star hotels offer 6. Rooms are small but cleaned every day.Bed are very unconfortable Sheets and towls changed evry day 7.Flowers in the hotel are amazing 8.Intwrnet is good and strong We came by plane and we arrived in hotel at 21.15h ,we were told that we missed a dinner.Cold plate included only fruit ,oranges and plums with 1 cake.No water ,no bread,no cheese, nothing,we were hungry and exhausting, above all disapointed that we did not have any food for our son .This hotel is trying to show to guests what is discipline and who is the boss over there. i will not come again
