Very nice place, great value for money. The location of the hotel is very good, with excellent views and own beach. On arrival you are met with very jovial staff and the check-in process is very easy. Your welcome pack is prepared in advance. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. We had a very good time with my family.

the resort is very nice but what is the best is the horse riding with Rose and her husband. It was a great pleasure to ride a horse with the most competent and pleasant instructor one can imagine. Will be back one day!

The location of this property is excellent. I would have thought that guests at the hotel would have much lower green fees at the golf course.I also felt that the merchandise at the pro shop was over priced. All in all the hotel is a pleasure to stay.

We (2 adults + 2 kids aged 7 and 11) booked this hotel via a travel agency as part of a trip to Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Zanzibar. We stayed 5 nights on full board basis. Our agency gave us several options - we picked this hotel due to good reviews on trip adviser. Unfortunately we had a mixed experience with...

Hussein the restaurant captain is another star for me When I couldn't handle oriental dishes he quickly offered to get me a...

The room was clean and tidy. We were in a Deluxe Room. Our expectations were exceeded. We even had a Jacuzzi. The surrounding was neat and tidy. Pools were...

We are currently on the 4th day of our 2 week stay of our spring break. Have an excellent room (424) with a spacious balcony overlooking the sea. Pools are magnificent and child friendly. The food is varied and quite well prepared. Rooms are spotlessly clean. Staff is service oriented. Restaurant staff under supervision of Sandeep is very attentive. Would...

The word "amazing" is an understatment of what we have experienced so far. We were delayed in SA by more than an hour. Arrived at the hotel only to be met by the most amazing people. Friendly and warm hospitality all around. Great cocktails and ice cold beer...you need it here as it is very hot and humit. Went for...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Driving into Sea Cliff Resort & Spa you know you have found something special. The 4 km road through a coconut plantation that leads to the hotel is a reminder of the Zanzibar of old. Peace and tranquility, no other hotels or busy roads just open space and palm trees. As you enter the courtyard filled with tropical flowers and palms the view of the ocean stands before you. With our traditional makuti roofs and Arabic towers lit by brass lights you know this is not a typical hotel. Its an hotel built with our location in mind. It is a unique combination of modern facilities mixed with the original exotic architecture of historical Zanzibar. Situated on our property is the first and only world-class 9 hold 18 tee golf course in Zanzibar. We boast a full size driving range, practice greens, Pro-Shop with all our golfing needs and apparel, clubs to hire, carts and Club House on the beach. A golf pro is in attendance at all times. Sea Cliff Resort & Spa really is the place to visit. ... more   less
