I chose this hotel as it was convenient for stop off en route to Esbjerg. The location is ideal, right next to the main highway. Check in wasn’t particularly quick as the receptionist was busy doing other things. The room was fairly basic and in a block away from the main building. I still managed to get an OK nights sleep though. The hotel is nothing special but clean and tidy and suitable for what it was needed for. Not somewhere I’d rush back to unless necessary.

Good sized room, bathroom had underfloor heating, which was lovely. Good breakfast. Hotel is on the edge of Aarhus but quite isolated, although the restaurant was very busy in the evening. Staff very pleasant.

I decided to have a cosy getaway with my fiance and surprise him with thw stay. Called in advance to request a cosy room. Spoke to lasse and thor, lasse could not understand my non Danish accent and thor could and said they would give a cosy room. Emailed to see if we needed to book at the restaurant, got a reply that we do that in check in. Check in and got room that I can't say was cosy, was going to book a table but they had a busy day with different arrangements.. So what, not my problem, ok they could have us at 17:30 but we ended up having dinner in town, buffet with leftover over the day I thought, 20 minutes wait for dinner that they choose not us. Dirty room and hotel/kro. This is not a hotel, rather a cheap motel. But I will say " Thanks Susanne for trying to accommodate us and the service" and to Jørn. Dirty room and hotel, hair in the shower, broken lock and stained red wine glasses down pool room. I paid 948kr for nothing.

After reading some of the reviews prior to leaving for our break (the hotel was booked for us as we were attending a wedding at the venue) I was expecting the worst. However, it far exceeded expectations. Whilst the room (motel type) was small, it was clean and had surprisingly comfortable beds. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was basic but not out of the ordinary for any other continental type of breakfast and enjoyable. I was very impressed with the wi-fi speed and the only complaint I have is that when we were there it was VERY hot and there was no type of fan or air con in the room meaning we had to spend a couple of nights with the front door open to get some air circulation. All in all, we enjoyed our stay our family had a great wedding. I note people also talk about Denmark costing a lot but equally I think it needs to be balanced with what your expectations are versus what you're prepared to pay. For example 2 beers at a litre each at this hotel cost me just under £10.00 - on holiday I'm fully prepared to pay £5 for a litre of beer!

I'm not usually compelled to write a review, but on this occasion I've just got to. Go and visit this place if you've got a good sense of humour, otherwise stay well away. Comedy of errors, including the DK equivalent of Manuel, culminating in a failure to order a taxi and a late departure. I want to laugh, but actually I'm just exasperated... Avoid

Looks nice from the outside, but rooms are very basic without any comfort to speak of. Comfortable beds, though! Outside there is quite a lot of noise from the nearby motorway, but quiet enough on the inside. Friendly staff and good food. The fried flesh on Thursdays is delicious and is really worth the money! This is not the place to go for a romantic week end, but ok if you have a car and want to explore Aarhus and the countryside.

This hotel is older and has two kinds of rooms. The hotel rooms in the main building are of a decent quality. The motel rooms in the bungalows are smelling old. The breakfast has a good selection. Nicely located in a green area, but the motorway is close by.

This inn (Kro in Danish) consists of an old and charming main building and multiple newer buildings. I had booked a budget room that was big, but not very nice. Especially, the bathroom was in need of modernisation. The breakfast and evening buffet were decent. Nothing much going on in the area, but nature is nearby. I would strongly suggest a bike trip around the nearby lakes. Free bikes available at the inn.
