I visited hotel with my husband for 2 nights and we really enjoyed whole time we were there. It´s beautiful castle surrounded by beautiful nature. And even if the hotel was fully occupied, we had enough opportunities to try everything what the place offers. The only minus of the hotel was not very comfortable bed, but the medieval atmosphere of whole room compensated it. So in summary, we were really really satisfied.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Zámek Lužec. Very nice surrounding, nature, fontaine. Breakfast was tasty, dinner good/you have to choose a day before from 3 menu(1×vegetarian)/, but it could be more to choose in the buffet. Wellnes & Spa very enjoyable.Bath and massage good. Sometimes too much people at the pool. Rooms clean and cosy, without noise. Nice furnitured and very decorative. Stuff was lovely, helpful and prepared to answer all your questions. I would recommend to visit this place and my scala is 9/10 points.

We are quite advanced travelers and it’s kind of not easy to surprise us. THIS PLACE WAS AWESOME and full of beautiful surprises . The hotel itself looks like a bit smaller and cozy Hogwarts Castle from Harry Potter. Rooms are big and beautifully furnished and decorated. Food and wine unbelievable and stuff was extremely friendly, nice, open hearted and professional. Plus beautiful nature around and pool and fantastic spa... We loved and enjoyed every second being there, we felt ourselves as at home and in fairytale as well ... we and looking forward to get back there as soon as possible...

We travelled as a pair for two nights. I have to note that we got vouchers for accomodation, breakfast and massage as a gift. Hotel is in the middle of nowhere (beuatiful woods, nature, zen peace), so it is good opportunity to turn off, relax and enjoy service which hotel provides. In fact if you miss the city it takes only few minutes to get to Karlovy Vary. Hotel has mainly russian and german speaking guests. Perfect professional manners of hotel reception and restaurant staff. We were satisfied with massages and with sauna services. I would like to give 100%. But cannot because of small misunderstanding with czech employee in spa center. And I also do not agree with all afternoon screaming children in the pool area. Because it is spa hotel I expected relaxing and calm atmosphere. We was accomodated in room nr. 206. There was a fruitbowl when we arrived. Room itself was well equipped and clean. But we was really disappointed about size (too small). There was not daylight in the room. Do not expect royal big sized rooms. Walls between rooms are too thin. First night we could not sleep because of the noise. Second night was better, but we heard someone´s snoring from next door room. It is not acceptable in hotel of this quality. Breakfasts were perfect with wide range of food. Sincerely we had an experience with hotel restaurant Středověká krčma, so we did not eat there during our stay. We chose for dinners Faustův dvůr restaurant (15 minutes by car) where dinning is in high level. With minor remarks I would recommend this hotel for a weekend stay. You will enjoy perfect service together with breathtaking nature surroundings.
