We had lovely stays at this hotel 4 times but the 5th time was an absolute disaster. Though we always found the rooms basic, out-dated and worn down, the lovely location and staff made it possible to overlook. During our most recent stay, however, the service was so appalling that 17 people left angry and disappointed. The first 4 times,...

Lovely, friendly hotel. Staff very helpful in giving recommendations & information on walking & sightseeing in the area. Delicious breakfasts and evening meals. We stayed for 11 days, and the service in the restaurant was always fast - we never had to wait long at all for the next course even though it was busy! I guess this has been...

We stayed at the Naturhotel Taleu for four nights - half board and couldn't have asked for a better place! From the moment we arrived to the time we left, staff was friendly, efficient and made every effort to serve their customers well. Our room was clean and spacious with a balcony and a table, bench and two chairs. The...

A lovely, clean, well appointed room with balcony, overlooking the most breathtaking scenery. Friendly, courteous staff. Unfortunately, the service at mealtimes has been unbearably slow, with waits of 30mins to an hour between courses. As a veggie, was not impressed to be presented with dishes containing meat on 2 consecutive days. When the food eventually arrives, it is of a...

Small, friendly wellness hotel in the Austrian Alps. Fantastic slowfood, good wellness facilities, spectacular views. Only downside is thin curtains and short duvets, but will go again. Recommend the half-board, well worth the money. Will repeat, fantastic food, all local, mostly organic. Vegan and wellness recipes available, if you're into that sort of thing.

Thank you once again for a great holiday. Hotel Taleu is one of our favourite hotels. The location and hotel itself is fantastic, but what really makes it is the friendly welcome, the excellent service and the dedication every staff member has to making our trip relaxing, enjoyable and fun. We will most certainly be back again!

We stayed in Naturhotel Taleu in July 2014. 2 nights were simply not enough and before we left we had already booked a week to come back during ski season. The staff were all so friendly, the hotel wonderful and the service and food was fantastic. Highly recommended!

Traditional Austrian family hotel with excellent service and a wonderful location for winter sports. Nathalie and the team have follwoed and enhanced the family tradition making it feel like a home from home. The link with the ski and boot hire up the mountain run by Nathalie's husband Rene is an added bonus, again with excellent equipment and friendly service....

My first time skiing in Austria but what a fantastic base to explore three or four different resorts, including the two just up the road! Fairly basic rooms but perfectly comfortable, a good spa with excellent views, nice food, and great service from a family team determined to make it an excellent stay. Great wine list too!
